I was nervous about ordering an anime-themed birthday cake for my daughter's sweet 16 when other bakeries that I called offered to just screen print a photo on top of a cake. When I called Icing on the Cake the staff went directly to the cake decorator to discuss my idea. I sent a few pictures of my daughter's favorite character and they created a cake beyond my expectations. My daughter was blown away! Besides looking amazing, the cake was moist and delicious and so lemony (we ordered lemon cake with lemon chiffon filling). This bakery's positive involvement in the community is icing on the cake. We will definitely order from them again. read more

The best Colorado Springs has to offer! Mischa made our daughter's wedding cake dream a reality! The five tier ombré rosette cake was absolutely stunning and equally delicious! Our bride chose layers of vanilla, chocolate, and lemon all with raspberry filling. Each was outstanding in taste. We knew Mischa's cakes were scrumptious from the tastings, however, we were amazed at the beauty of the final product. Our guests are still talking about Mischa's work of art! Thank you, Mischa! My husband and I used Icing on the Cake for our wedding cakes, and I couldn't be happier! Mischa created exactly what we wanted! Our wedding cake was a round two-tier almond cake, and the groom's cake was a Dragon Ball Z German chocolate cake with coconut filling. I was nervous about the groom's cake, but it came out absolutely perfect- and both cakes tasted AMAZING. Even the delivery was a breeze, she got in and out through all the chaos with no issues. I found this business on The Knot and chose them because of their reviews. We flew into Colorado Springs for a small, intimate elopement and we chose a small two tier cake. We ordered a white cake with strawberry filling and it was so delicious. Every one raved about how fresh the strawberries tasted and how moist the cake was. Since we don't live in the state it is doubtful that we would be able to use this business again, but do yourself a favor and give them a try. read more
