    Complimentary pineapple after dinner

We were greeted by everyone on the floor when we walked through the door. Everyone smiled and welcomed us! This restaurant is clean and newly renovated. Very nice inside. Our waitress was so friendly, cleared our plates as soon as we were finished and never let our drinks go empty. Our food arrived quick! And it was so good. We really enjoyed our dinner.

Just opened and is great! Spacious and spotlessly clean. Service was fast and friendly. Prices reasonable. We got the lunch specials on a weekday. My friend got the custom poke bowl and loved it. I got lunch sushi which was fresh and tasty. It came with a small salad and soup which were good. My friend got a noodle dish with beef called Yaki Soba which was good.

My friends ordered a few drinks, and we started with the edamame, chicken karaage, and miso soup. The appetizers were decent, but nothing particularly memorable, and all of our miso soups came out slightly cold. Our server was friendly, but because the restaurant was so busy, service overall was pretty slow. We also had to wait quite a while just to get wasabi for our sushi. I ordered the sashimi dinner, which was good, but again, nothing spectacular. My husband ordered several pieces of nigiri and thought it tasted good, but not the freshest sushi he's had. Our friends felt similarly about their meals. I don't really have much negative to say aside from the slower service and the miso soup bowls not being the best design-wise since one of the helpers accidentally spilled mine onto the table, and they also seem to let the soup cool down quickly. The sushi was fairly fresh, just not the best I've had in the metro. Overall, I'd say this place is okay, but not quite what all the hype made it out to be.

The Sushi Bar - Memorial Road OKC…read more Let me start with this... If I can convince my wife to try something called the "Naughty Girl Roll"... you already know we're off to a strong start From the moment we walked in, the vibe was exactly what you want in a sushi spot--comfortable, relaxed, and not trying too hard to be something it's not. Just good energy and a place you can actually enjoy your meal. Our server Juan? Spot on. Attentive without hovering, checked in at all the right times, and kept things moving smoothly. Let's Talk Food Naughty Girl Roll This is the one. Tempura shrimp, avocado, and cream cheese, topped with baked salmon, spicy mayo, sweet sauce, masala, and scallions. Rich? Yes. Over-the-top? Maybe. Worth it? Absolutely. This is the roll you order when you want to convert someone into a sushi fan. Ikura (Salmon Roe) This one was all mine--and that's probably for the best. If you're into that briny pop and clean ocean flavor, this hits. If not... no shame in sitting this one out. Norwegian Mackerel A really well-balanced dish. Cooked just right, paired with bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and white rice. Clean, flavorful, and a nice break from the heavier rolls. Bento Box My wife's choice--and honestly, a smart one. If you're not feeling adventurous, this gives you variety without stepping too far outside your comfort zone. The Verdict This place checks all the boxes: Flavor Variety Service Atmosphere Whether you're a sushi regular or just dipping your toe in, The Sushi Bar delivers.

It comes with some jalapeño cream cheese and tenderloin steak with some green onions and I think it was about $21 for the roll of eight pieces. We got that first out an I really loved the spiciness of the Jalapeños but it wasn't too spicy. I got the Thai steak noodle dish. It was beautifully delicious. The flavors blended together nicely. It was spicy just the way I like it. It had fresh tomato, avocado, kale, peanuts, and my deliciously tender steak. My boyfriend got the Korean beef tenderloin with fried rice. He let me try the steak and it was tender and delicious as well. I really don't eat fish or like fish, so the beef looked the best today. I would like to come back and try some of their brunch menu items as well such as the breakfast Ramen. This place is pretty expensive though, but the food is delicious. The inside was clean and we went early in the morning around 11 AM. I'm glad we went that early because in about an hour all the church crowd was coming in and alot of people came in. We got our food quickly too. Our server told us that if you like fish, they get fresh fish in every day there. Their fish dishes are ever frozen.
