Atmosphere was nice and clean. Trendy decorations, and friendly staff. I really enjoyed the jalapeño bombs as well as the number nine and number 18 rules! I can't remember the names of them right now, but I'm sure they have it on their website. There's sashimi was real fresh and I probably could've ate that all night as well. Honestly, my least favorite thing that we ordered was the miso soup and I think I'm just used to a little bit stronger mixture than what they did. That is a personal taste and not really anything that they could have changed just for me. I also liked the fact that they had different age group pricing for your Littles as well as you're not so Littles so that the whole family can enjoy several options on the menu. I'm from out of town, but would definitely go back here if someone wanted to meet up for all you can eat sushi.

This was my first visit to Umami Sushi & Hibachi, and I brought my wife and daughter along to see…read morehow their All You Can Eat lunch stacked up. Neither my wife nor my daughter are big sushi fans, but they both enjoy hibachi, so this seemed like a good compromise. As for me, I accepted the challenge of eating as much as I could without overdoing it... although I'm not entirely convinced that's possible at an AYCE restaurant! I sampled several sushi rolls, the seafood salad, seaweed salad, lettuce wraps, and Crab Rangoon. Everything I ordered was fresh, flavorful, and arrived quickly. I paced myself, ordered wisely, and enjoyed every bite. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly, plates were delivered promptly, and empty dishes disappeared just as fast. The restaurant had a relaxed vibe, and we never felt rushed, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Lunch was a very fair value at $19.95. Before we started, our server explained that there would be a charge for excessive leftover food. I actually appreciated that policy. It encourages people to think before they order. Order all you want--but be prepared to eat all you order. There are still a few other all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants on my list to try before I crown a favorite, but Umami Sushi & Hibachi made a very good first impression. I'd definitely come back.

I recently visited Saki Sushi Bar and had a mixed experience. The food itself was good, and we…read moreenjoyed what we ordered. However, the service was quite slow during our visit. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, but we still had to wait a long time for different parts of our service. I understand that every restaurant can have an off day, so hopefully this was just a one-time experience. With a little more attention to service and timing, I think the overall experience could be much better. The food was definitely enjoyable, but based on my visit, the service is the main area that could use some improvement.

We ordered 3 rolls......it took 30 minutes to get them..... The overwhelming smell of the salmon roll I ordered turned my stomach, not to mention it was not even close to what the menu said. I sent it back and ordered something else.....so the "chef" decided to come to our table and argue with me about what I ordered..... The only saving grace about this place is the server AJ. He needs to go find an amazing restaurant to serve at and I would be there all the time.

Maki Sushi - Edmond…read more A new sushi spot has landed at 150th & Rockwell, and you know I had to check it out. Maki Sushi is a quaint, inviting space with a nice mix of seating--about four stools at the sushi bar, a handful of booths, and a combination of tables and chairs. It's not a huge place, but it feels comfortable and welcoming. Even though I placed a to-go order, the wait didn't feel like a chore. Service was pleasant, and the staff had that "happy to be here" vibe--which always makes a difference. Now let's talk food... I went straight for the sushi (no surprise there). Figured I'd start at the top and ordered the Rockwell Roll--loaded with salmon, tuna, and hamachi, plus avocado, then topped with spicy mayo and masago. Fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. This roll delivers. I grabbed the Shrimp Fried Rice for my wife. . . didn't even ask, and that was a solid choice too--savory, satisfying, and a great complement to the sushi. The Verdict: A great addition to the area and a win for local sushi lovers. Having a spot like this close to home is always a plus. I'll definitely be working my way through the menu to see what other gems they've got. 4 Stars - Strong start with plenty more to explore
