I discovered a small dent on my car that occurred while it was parked. I went to Shalom auto body for a repair estimate. The estimate was outrageous for such a small dent, so I decided not to have it repaired. Today I found out that it was reported to CARFAX. There was no accident, no police report, no insurance claim, and no repair was done. This auto shop was the only place I went for an estimate. I highly recommend to stay away from this shady business. I wish I had never stepped my foot in there.

I was quoted "well over" $12,000 by one of the few shops that even give me a price. Lucky's did amazing work on my old warhorse. I would recommend them to anyone with an older or unique vehicle. They did absolutely outstanding work on both the paint and bodywork. If I ever need anything done again, I'm going back there first. Word of warning, though: be prepared to deal exclusively in cash. That's not how appointment windows work, and expecting customers to sit and wait without communication is completely unreasonable. After the confusion (which could have easily been avoided with a simple phone call), they refused to complete the service and told me to find another company.
