A good store but awful carpark at rear with nowhere near enough spaces, although there is another larger carpark nearby. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Home delivery of shopping available. read more

Love Waitrose! Each time I come to England, I'm always excited to visit Waitrose. The produce is…read morefresh, selection varies, and they are so pleasant. I believe part of what makes them so pleasant is that Waitrose is an employee owned business. There's a lot of places to shop, but I'd highlight recommend Waitrose for their excellent produce, meats, and customer service.

Has a coffee area and toilets for a shopping break here and there. No mobile signal here, but that's no issue in a supermarket unless you want to ask your partner what to buy. However occasionally they have special offers unavailable elsewhere, for example 10 Birds Eye waffles for £1 which generally retail for £1.50. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic the majority of supermarkets had very long lines, the longest wait here was 10 minutes.
This review is about the petrol station specifically rather than the store itself. I've bought…read morepetrol from here on a few occasions and each time I've had the same experience, one dispenses fuel and a total amount comes up on the pump 30.50 for example, put the pump back in the holder but when you get to pay they say its 30.51 or on some occasions 30.52. Previously before the petrol station was refurbished could put this down to old pumps (though still not legal) but now with a complete refurbishment and new pumps its still happening. Each time I raise it with the staff where you pay they aren't interested in fact downright miserable. Yesterday I asked if the super unleaded that I purchased had been reformulated to 97 octane from 99octane, its premium unleaded she said blithely. I tried to explain premium unleaded is always 95 octane in the UK and I had purchased super unleaded, they don't tell us anything she said in a monotone, I realized this staff member would be better off engaged cleaning the pumps and the tyre pressure gauge then at the till. So if anyone is reading this from Trading Standards / Department of Consumer Affairs do conduct your own experiment. My car had at least a gallon of fuel but the pump dispensed enough fuel as though I only had two litres left so again worry about the accuracy of fuel dispensed. Tesco were prosecuted a few years ago for having fuel bypass system to make extra profits.

They don't provide much in the way of clothes, electrical and other such lines (apart from during the January sales). It stocks a wide range of groceries, but keeps doing that annoying thing of changing where things are so you can wander round for what seems like hours looking for the things you buy every week. The thing that really lets it down is the cigarette/lottery kiosk. The queues there are always long and the staff can be downright rude.

We got our cab to drop us off to Budgens and in my haste, quickly grabbed these shortbreads! There are 5 in a pack, about £3.50, and are really creamy and buttery! I may have started a trend as my client absolutely loved them too, and it certainly wasnt the last time we popped in that week!
Windsor had been crying out for a new supermarket. Somewhere that stocked more than a few gourmet…read moresandwiches, tinned olives and ice-cream. Somewhere central so you didn't have to get in your car everytime you needed a loaf of bread or some oranges. So congratulations to Waitrose for meeting that need. It took Waitrose a while to settle into their market. For a while, they tried to be more like a deli, with little discounting and not many customers doing a weekly shop. Either the credit crunch or a sensible reappraisal led them to introduce price commitments and reductions. While not there yet, I am sure what all local residents really want is Waitrose quality at Tesco prices, and if that's how we keep buying maybe Waitrose will start to provide.

Features a quick check out scan tool which customers can use to speed up shopping service. When we went to purchase goods there was quick service and friendly cashier. Also loved that this store really gives back to the communities, listing its 3 local charitable groups that it provides funds to, and encourages shoppers to do so as well.

I actually really like this Waitrose and is the only supermarket to be found between Sunningdale,…read moreSunninghill and Ascot without driving to the Sainsburys and Tescos in Bracknell or Staines. It's a good size - not overwhelmingly large but not so small it doesn't offer a choice. It's recently had a refurbishment with new checkouts and updated store design. You'll find reduced price bargains (meat and bakery) if you pop in just before closing on weekdays. They also have 'green' checkouts for customers who don't require plastic bags - cardboard boxes are usually available from behind the checkouts. There is free parking but this does get chocker with 44s, especially at weekends. Unless you have a disability, I recommend parking at the end of the car park. You'll reduce the risk of a BMW X5 reversing into you and you'll have a less stressful shopping experience. Because it's a smallish shop, you'll usually see the bright and breezy manager or deputy manager walking the floor - extremely unusual in today's supermarkets.

Lots of pepole that think they are the only person in the world, pushing trollys into you rather than showing some sensibility and going round you as you do to them. If you are not getting a trolley driven at you inside someone is driving their 44 at you in the car park. Incredibly badly designed car park and bad use of space.
