One with three ice cream rolls and one with five ice cream rolls. I went with the five rolls. Since I am a fan of peanut butter mixed with ice cream, I went with the Peanut Buddy. You add three toppings and I went with peanut M&M's, oreo cookie and whipped cream. I will say that it was very good. All in all, this was definitely a solid option for dessert. Awesome find. Saw it on the street when my friends are getting smoothies so decided to give it a try. Did not disappoint! Parking is easy since it shares the outdoor lot with other stores; not too hard to see on the street. I tried their green tea ice cream. You get to pick a few items including fruits and toppings with your icecream and they make it in front of you. This feels like another version of ColdStone but you got to see it to experience it. Tipped off about Ice King's Thai-style ice cream in Montgomery, I stopped by tonight. This delicious dessert is made to order in front of your eyes after you choose a "base" and then select three toppings. I chose the Fruit Passion base (a mixture of a vanilla base, blueberries, strawberries, and pineapple) with gummy bears, mango chunks, and a chocolate stick. It looked fantastic. There are five (!) rolls of ice cream in the cup and each bite outdoes the last one for flavor and variety. It was so cold and refreshing that from now on I am treating myself to a cup every week. My husband and I were in the mood for ice cream and didn't feel like going to the usual (and limited) options here in town, so we decided to try out Ice King. Neither of us had ever had rolled ice cream before, so we were excited to try it. Ice King is in an old froyo store in a strip mall. They have a lot of different flavor combinations to choose from and they use a 2 step ordering system. Step 1 is choose your base ice cream and flavors. I ordered the Morning Latte, which had a coffee ice cream with chocolate syrup and graham crackers worked into it. Step 2 involves choosing 3 additional toppings. I ended up adding chocolate chips, whipped cream, and caramel syrup as my toppings. My husband ordered the peanut butter flavor bowl and added a KitKat, Oreo, and chocolate syrup as his toppings. The ice cream was good. The coffee ice cream reminded me of the Haagen Das coffee ice cream and the peanut butter bowl had peanut butter cookies crumbled into it which was great. Overall, it was a fun experience, but I do think part of that is because of the novelty of rolled ice cream. If you haven't had it before, you get kind of caught up in how cool it is. It's kind of expensive, however you do get a lot of ice cream. I would enjoy going back, especially if they add more options to their menu. My desire to go back IS because of its novelty, NOT because it's fantastic tasting. It's a fun experience, but don't go in expecting to have the world's greatest tasting ice cream. read more

Really nice to have something new in Montgomery for a change. This location has seen a lot of places come and go, so I hope Ice King makes it. The novelty of Thai Icecream should keep people coming for quite a bit. They may need to work on their flavors and ingredient quality, just from what I've heard from other people I recommended it to. I ordered the Matcha Icecream with a KitKat and mango on top. I like you can get as many toppings as you want for free. I enjoyed the matcha, but I do understand it's apparently an acquired taste.
