If I didn't find this on Yelp I would have never known it was here. Hiding behind Sonic and in front of Aldi. So many choices and all Looked so amazingly yummy. I say that and yet I'm not big on sweets. So I got a simple one with strawberries. Don't be boring like me and try one of their specialties. Small business owners who are just make their way in the way of Ice Cream. Cute little building, only outside drive up available and I think a table on one side. The ice cream was amazing! Although it was a hot day my ice cream did not instantly melt as I drove away. The presentation was beautifully done and the customer service was great as well. Everyone was very nice, polite, helpful, and patient. There is no indoor seating but there are benches to sit if you'd like to dine in. On our first visit the line was wrapped around and blocking traffic. The entry is very small. Otherwise, everything else was pretty great! I wish I had a picture of my ice cream but it was good forgot to even take a picture. read more

I've tried this little drive thru spot a handful of times and always enjoyed the ice cream. All the employees I've encountered have been friendly and fast. I haven't tried all the flavors, but the peach tasted homemade, without the artificial sweetness. I'm partial to the limoncello sundae. It's amazing! There is a little outside seating area for the cooler evenings. Please try this place; I hope they stick around! read more

Ice cream was great! I love all of the toppings and the option to make your own as well. The only complaint is that I got a snow cone and it wasn't the best one I've ever had. The ice wasn't smooth it was more crunchy. Not the best place for a snow cone but the ice cream is great! read more

Perfect local place to satisfy a craving for ice cream! I got the chocolate peanut butter cup and it was delicious. There's a drive thru, but the cashier will also bring out menus and take your order if you want to sit at the table and eat. I would highly recommend! read more

My daughter and I stopped by to grab some ice cream. It was alot of young people working the front. I must say that they were really on it. It was a long line when we entered but it seemed to have vanished quickly. Nice job and great customer service read more

Service is always so amazing at the Ice Box Creamery. We come here often and are never disappointed. It's the perfect place for a sweet pick me up. My youngest gets so excited as soon as she sees the icecream decorations on the building. read more

Outside only seating, order window to serving window is a small wait, similar timing to the drive through. Tables and benches are under a set of huge trees for shade. There is a small fountain in the center where kids float tree leaves till they sink, getting themselves a bit wet, but far enough from seating to not splash that far. I like the lemon, the mint with several additions, the special fresh Weatherford peach just in season was great a couple weeks ago. Curly's is related to several popular restaurants around, and also the redevelopment of Roy Pope into a prime restaurant reminiscent of Mac's house, Carriage House, and others from history. Will be good to have Mac's salad back and maybe the veggie nibbler plate along with rolls at the table, if they bring that back as not even the prime restaurants do that anymore. Everything they develop does well with current patrons. **Make sure to try Curly's. Not just every visit to the museums, but also when looking for a cooling nibble out under the trees on Camp Bowie.
