I called the Farmington office for a car in Farmington, the phone was answered in Cape Girardeau. I specifically told them I needed a car in Farmington and the manager told the rental agent that one had just come in and go ahead and get a rental reservation, which I gave them. Again, after previous experience, I specifically told them I needed it in Farmington. When I got to Farmington, they did not have a car. They expected one later in the day, but they did not have it yet. I got a call from the auto mechanic and my car was ready, so I called to tell Ochs to cancel the reservation. They told me that regardless, I still had to pay the $40 reservation fee. First of all, they screwed up by putting the car in Cape when I specifically told them Farmington. Second, the car was never on the lot, therefore never available to me. When I called the area manager, Cody Summers, it was very obvious he had never been trained in customer service. At one point I had to ask him if he ever shut up long enough to listen to anyone. He said he had listened to a recording of my phone conversation the rental agent, so he heard me tell them I wanted the car in Farmington but chose to lie about it. He also said he was the highest ranking person in the company anyone can go to for "help" - very, very rude person. He is going to do damage to this business with his attitude and indifference. Again I would rent from anywhere else. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. I predict a very short dalliance in the rental car industry for this particular company and its owner, Michael Ochs, Jr.

He had Andrew, who is amazing, take care of me. Had the car for a week, with no phone calls. I have since rented again and will continue to. Andrew is humorous and professional, you can tell he has the business mind and great customer service skills. Enterprise would be smart to keep him happy, he will go far! Had a horrible experience there a few months ago, a brief summary is rude clerks that only could speak over people, not being there when promised (after I got dropped off), and were very flippant about my time. They thought that wasting my time was no big deal. I could just walk back in 3 hours when it was more convenient for them. Then when it was return day they wanted the car 5 hours early, and tried to blame me for the fact they cant plan their time! Several phone calls during the rental, for information that they all ready had, a double charge on the cc, and the district manager was just too busy to return the 3 emails and several calls I made. Unfortunately they are the only car rental in town though and I made another reservation. I just got a voice mail from the same sarcastic millennial telling me how inconvenient the time I chose was. Im done. I will transfer the VM to Mp3 and play it if and when the owner decides to call. In the last 3 years I have had a rental from other Enterprise districts on 43 occasions, yes issues but guess what they were fixed. The owner of another district offered to step in and talk to corp. Apparently the owner will now be fined for ignoring the issue, I am sorry it led to that but you brought it on yourself. Since Sparta and Randolph county give out TIFF money, I think it is time for a different rental car business.

If…read morethe need arises again for a rental car we will do whatever is necessary to rent from Budget, whom we have had a good experience with before (this was a situation where our only choice was to pick up the car on a Sunday, and Budget was closed). The woman at the counter was friendly enough, but had no idea how to complete the process for us to decline the Enterprise insurance in faovr of that which was included with our credit card. This is a basic, expected part of this woman's duties and yet she had no clue how to do it. Ridiculous. Now, the day before we arrived at the location, my husband had tried to book and pay for the car online, but it wouldn't let him complete the transaction, or use his email address. Everything connected to this company seems to suck or be broken. When we got to the location there was a $300 deposit which had not been disclosed on the website. See my attached snip of a screen which tells customers the "total due", except it's not the total due, surprise! Dececptive, scammy and gross. ETA the snip isn't from our actual rental but an example of what happens on the site. Due to having no other choice and it being an emergency, we agreed to continue, and ended up having to use a debit card due to the unexpected added cost of the deposit. You'd think that the terrible experience would be ending at this point. You would be wrong. They asked us for a utility bill and references. Why? Well, for "extra security". I thought the deposit was the extra security. Why the need for the life story? Word to the wise: GO TO BUDGET. Do not, under any circumstances, deal with this company. They don't deserve your money and can try to survive with one-off customers who see how terrible they are and don't return.

After 2.5 hrs they call me to tell me my suv is ready. The suv is even worse than the car they gave me. Its smells of puke and was so disgusting on the inside that I had to spend an 1.5 cleaning the inside just to be able to drive it without getting something on my clothes. But the puke smell is overwhelming and nothing I have sprayed has helped. It is beyond ridiculous to send a person out in a vehicles such as these. I DO NOT recommend this place at all. And the best part is they want a 50 dollar deposit for making sure the car is returned in the right condition. This place is laughable at best.

I wish that I would have read the reviews here prior to reserving a vehicle. We reserved an SUV several weeks before a very important trip. I had a pick up time for 10 am. At 9 am I received a call from Jim explaining that they didn't have the SUV yet. He explained that he would have the SUV by early afternoon but quickly offered a sedan so that he could "get me on the road" right away. I thanked him but explained that we rented an SUV specifically because we needed the extra room. He assured me that he would call as soon as the SUV was available. By 2:30 I still hadn't received a call so I called them and spoke to Jim directly. He seemed annoyed that I was calling and checking on the vehicle and once again immediately offered me a sedan so he could "get me on the road". I explained once again that we needed an SUV. When I asked why he didn't have the vehicle that I had reserved he told me he can't just make a vehicle appear. He told me that he had one coming in at 4. We showed up a little after 4 and were told that they still didn't have the vehicle. He again tried to offer a sedan and we explained that we needed an SUV. When my husband questioned why the vehicle we reserved wasn't there he explained that he made several attempts to contact us that morning as if we were being unreasonable because we were refusing a sedan when we requested an SUV. He told my husband that if they got an SUV in that they would call. He called me again around 4:45 which was 45 minutes prior to them closing to say they still didn't have it but that he would call if they got one in. He never called back. We ended up walking into our local Toyota dealership out of desperation because we were scheduled to leave at 5 am the next morning and still had no vehicle after we had wasted an entire day with Jim stringing us along. I am honestly convinced that he never had the SUV to begin with and was just dragging it out long enough that we wouldn't have a choice other than to take the car that he kept trying to push on us. I cannot express enough my disappointment in the lack of service at this Enterprise location. Jim was not helpful in any way and was rude and disrespectful when we questioned him about the availability of our vehicle. I will never return to this location again. From this point forward we won't consider any place other than Toyota. The service there was excellent!
