With a variety of 3 different barre classes, pure barre is a workout for everyone of all ages. Some are in their teens while other superstars are in their 70s. Pure barre is the only workout I have stuck with for so long. At over 800 classes, I can testify it works! I am a better more confident version of myself since coming here. What do I love about purr barre? Well, the workouts are great and exciting. I love switching it up between classic, empower and reform. It is always a challenge. They have some of the best playlists and lets not forget about all of the awesome retail. The instructors and desk workers are fantastic. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Each and every class, the instructor walks around the room multiple times to correct your form to make sure you are getting the very best of your workout they encourage you to drop your seat a little lower or make your heels a little higher. They call everyone by name, which I love. Class times are offered every day, almost all day, making it super convenient for anyones schedule. As for the others who attend these classes, they are truly wonderful. I have made so many friends since coming to pure barre. It is a community of amazing women. Thinking about giving it a shot? You absolutely should! With many different membership and class pack options, you're guaranteed to find the right price for you. I would recommend pure barre Mt Lebanon to everyone! A workout that works & you have fun doing, it while making friends & wearing the greatest attire. What more could you ask for?

Pittsburgh Punch is hands down my favorite boxing gym (or probably any gym for that matter) that…read moreI've ever been to. Anthony and his team are the best of the best. They make every new member feel extremely comfortable and welcomed. They have a great focus on technique - they are constantly making sure that everyone is doing the moves correctly and will help you adjust if you're not. They're also extremely vocal with encouragement and just letting you know when you're killing it. Besides all of that, any class you take here will be a great workout and have you leave feeling incredible and energized. For anyone on the edge of trying a class here - take the chance and find your new favorite workout!

I wanted to try n shed some of this baby weight & I wanted try sumthing new. Boy did a make a mistake! The bald headed instructor was a complete jerk to me. Making me feel ashamed about not being able to keep up with the class. Hey buddy. It was my first time working out on years. Anyways I don't recommend this place. Who wants to get yelled at by people who think they are better than you because they are fit? Who wants to feel ashamed about their bodies by instructors who are supposed to be there to help and motivate? Won't be me. Never again. Bye Felicia

For my entire life, I have hated working out. I never really knew what I was doing when I would go…read moreto the gym by myself. I was too intimidated to lift weights and would spend most of my time walking on the treadmill. It was very under stimulating and boring and I doubt I ever really burned any calories or got my heart rate up at all. OTF has changed all that for me. I actually look forward to working out now. A few of my favorite things about OTF are: 1. Solid work out. I know for sure every time I step into OTF that I am going to get my butt kicked (in a good way). I don't have to wonder how many calories I burned or if I actually got my heart pumping, it is all shown up on the big screen in the work out studio. That makes me feel like my time spent working out was worth it. 2. You are done in 1 hour. Even the busiest people can give an hour or 2 per week to work out. On days when I don't really want to go to OTF, I tell myself, you'll be done in an hour! Just go! The class really does fly by and I always leave with a killer work out buzz. 3. Coaches are available to help. Coaches will help you fix your form if you are doing something wrong. Will show you options if you can't do a specific exercise. And they cheer you on when you are doing well. 4. South Hills Village is a convenient location. Plenty of parking in the mall parking lot. You can run errands there before or after class. 5. Knowledge. I feel like I have actually learned a lot about working out, gym equipment, and what my body needs for a 'good work out'. I know that I could get a good work out in on my own if I had to... but I still prefer going to OTF :) A few things I do not like: 1. It can be really tricky to get into the classes you want. The classes are released 2 weeks out. There is an App you can download to book classes. Only issue is, the classes fill up SO QUICKLY. I check the App in the morning when I wake up, around lunch time, and at night before I fall asleep, all to make sure I am getting into the classes that work for me. I am a planner and need to know in advance if I have class or not. 2. At OTF South Hills Village location, the lobby and locker area is very cramped. There is 1 bench you can sit on before class starts. Lockers are usually packed. If you want to stretch, you need to go outside (fine when its nice out, but sucks when weather isn't great). There is only 1 water fountain. No real 'locker room', just a few bathrooms. Wish there were nicer amenities for the price you are paying. 3. Lots of rules. Although I understand why OTF has rules when it comes to signing up and dropping classes, I wish there was a little bit more freedom for when 'life happens'. Sometimes that 8 hour window to drop classes just isn't enough. A 6 hour window would be nice. Also, no phones in the studio. I like leaving my phone behind for an hour but some might not have the freedom to do so. 4. Coaches energy levels can be really different. Unfortunately, I do not have the flexibility to sign up for classes solely based on the coach. You might be in a class with a coach that screams the whole time. You might be in a class with a coach that seems like they don't really want to be there. It would be nice if there was some consistency across the board. Coaches can really make or break the vibe of the class. All in all, I'm super stoked that I have finally found a work out that works for me. If you are curious about OTF, I would definitely call the studio and see if they can get you into a class to try things out. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I started to like OTF as the weeks went on!

I've been going to this studio on and off for almost three years now. It's the one workout I have…read moreconsistently been able to get myself to do for that long. Everything else I've tried I've eventually gotten sick of (pure barre, spin, etc). I love the coaches and staff here and the weight lifting combined with cardio on the treads (sorry I'll always hate the rower). The only downside of OTF is the cost but I personally think it's worth it.
