One star, only because i can't do ZERO…read more I do not write reviews like this lightly -- but this experience has been so unacceptable that it needs to be clearly documented. Sanctuary Gardens designed and installed landscaping at my home, including three Traveler's Palms (often referred to as Bird of Paradise) placed dangerously close to my paver deck and pool. Within less than 13 months, the root systems from these plants have already caused **visible and significant damage**, including lifting and separating pavers and progressing toward the pool coping and surrounding infrastructure. Let me be clear: this is not normal settling or minor cosmetic movement. This is **active, aggressive root intrusion** from a species that should never have been planted this close to hardscape or a pool structure. The placement alone reflects a serious lapse in professional judgment and basic landscape design standards. The consequences are now very real: * Pavers are lifting and separating * The pool coping is at risk * There is potential exposure to underground plumbing * Electrical and lighting systems may also be impacted What is even more troubling than the defective work is the complete lack of accountability. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this professionally: * Sanctuary Gardens has **ignored repeated requests for remediation** * They have **failed to honor prior warranty claims** * They are now **ignoring communications from my attorney** At this point, I have been forced into legal action simply to protect my property. This is not how a reputable company operates. Mistakes can happen -- but refusing to respond, refusing to stand behind your work, and ignoring both the homeowner and legal counsel is unacceptable. If you are considering using Sanctuary Gardens, I strongly recommend that you think very carefully and do your due diligence. I would be more than willing to share details of my experience directly. Proceed with caution.

This is a long overdue review of a commercial landscaping company from which I purchased close to…read more$7,000 of bamboo and Clousia, in 2019, four years ago. While this may seem like an inappropriate length of time to wait to submit a review, it actually makes more sense now than if submitting it at the time of purchase. I dealt exclusively with the owner, Jerry Sainteloi. I picked out the Clousia with him, to be delivered to my property in Boca Raton. He picked out the bamboo without input on special bunches from me, as that would not have been feasible. I arranged for my own transportation to bring these items from his location in Loxahachee to my property. He offered me this option when I questioned and tried to negotiate the transport fee, which I thought was exceedingly high. I also did not agree to his planting the trees/bamboo as I thought his price was too high, and I had already identified individuals who I trusted to pickup the items and deliver them to me as well as plant them. I am certain, in retrospect, he did not take well to this arrangement, as it cut into his profit, likely to a great extent, as his quoted prices were outrageous. I dealt with him based on a referral from other tree farms, as it was not easy to locate bamboo. And I also discovered him because he had been planting Clousia on another property in our community. It is great as a hedge, grows fast and becomes quite dense. My complaint is the inconsistency between the plants has caused gaps in the hedge, with some areas less tall or full than others. He should have picked out plants which were of similar size and width. As to the bamboo, his assertion as to the thickness of the bamboo stalks after several years of growth was grossly misrepresented. While the bamboo has grown close to 100 feet high in some locations, which is quite high, and is basically in food health, the stalks/shoots never got close to his representations. I guess he was just engaging in sales fluff and I bought into it. He can be quite challenging to deal with, so buyer beware. I'll include some photos of the plantings as they are in September 2023.

I am a very happy customer. Great customer service, beautiful and quality work. The plants from…read morethere are well maintained, they are not like Home Depot where you buy them today and they die within a week.
