It books groups, but despite that, the rooms and floors manage to be quiet enough to sleep. I loved the fact that the bathtub was squeaky clean -- clean enough to use it as a bathtub. Wi-fi (2 bars) was available in the public rooms. Downsides: despite staying a week, each time I used up something in the room (soap, glasses, wine glasses), I never received replacements. Soap was tiny tiny rectangles. Breakfast is plentiful; coffee is so-so; premium tea bags are provided. If your room is adjacent to a smoker, there will be traces in your own room. As I checked in, I was asked if the conversion to dollars was okay. Puzzled me but I said okay. As I discovered later on, the conversion also included a huge some sort of transaction fee. I didn't realize the business was converting for me. When I checked later on, the difference between my charge card doing the conversion for free and them doing the conversion, they had charged me about $25 to do the conversion.

The hotel itself is ok. A large square tower, with good sized rooms and modern TV. My room had a weird noise after the AC was turned off. Room was warm enough on the cold nights, and bright enough. No sockets near the bed to plug in electronics which was a little frustrating, but otherwise pleasant enough.

Our friends also had the same booking issue so that was an odd 2nd occurrence on same day. Not a huge deal tho. There is a bar. And a restaurant. Breakfast was free for guests staying and it was quite lovely. All the stuff to make yourself a full English. With mini pastries that actually were tasty. Cereal, bread, juice and coffee as well. A buffet style so load up on bacon and sausage and beans!! Doubt I'll find myself in Coventry again but I'd recommend Ramada if your travels take you here.

Well equipped with tea/coffee facility, large flat sreen TV with freeview channels and a sofa. You take the included breakfast at the Toby carvery next door and they offer a "help yourself to veg" carvery (pork, turkey, beef) for £5.25 before 7.00pm (£7.50 after 7.00pm). The carvery was best value and I enjoyed it. Bank's cask ale at £1.99pp plus lagers from £2.45 to £2.85pp. I stayed for two nights and will definitely use an Innkeepers lodge again.

As I have read in other reviews, the hotel looks not to have been renovated in a while but that was not a show-stopper for me. It was older but my room was cozy and clean and my housekeeper took excellent care. It was so wonderful to get in from a long day of working to find towel animals with candy pieces and a heart! The food in the restaurant was good and the kitchen and bar staff were equally great. I had an all-around good experience here. So long as I am treated well and my surroundings are well kept, I am satisfied. I will stay here again on my next business trip!

Their was a long check-in queue when we arrived and the manager came over to apologise and say that one of the bar staff was going to come round and get us drinks to apologise. A nice gesture until we were told it was a choice of lemonade or coke! All areas of the hotel were clean and our room & ensuite were a good size. We were on the third floor which for some reason was very, very hot! The air con in the room worked well, but the corridor and communal areas were toasty. The hotel has a Living Well gym and pool attached. We never used the gym so I can't comment but did use the pool. We had a 10 minute wait when we arrived at the gym reception as they had ran out of clean towels, not ideal with a wriggly baby to entertain. The pool is a nice size but seemed to have a lot of sand at the bottom. Urgh. There is also a jacuzzi (which was out of order), a steam room and a sauna. The food at the hotel was good. There is a large retail park across the road from the hotel with a Nandos, Cinema, Tesco etc, and originally we were going to head out to eat dinner. But after the long wait to check in it was way past my son's dinner time and he was cranky so we ate in the bar (as the hotel restaurant didn't open till 7pm). Children eat free with a paying adult and the choice of food was great. Fresh veggies and hummus dip to start and pasta with a tomato sauce which was rammed with veggies go a big tick from me for being healthy and a big tick from my son for being delicious! Our food was tasty, a generous sized chicken burger. And breakfast the next morning had a great selection from the usual cooked selection, breads, pastries, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, mmmmmm. One real annoyance was the lack of any baby change facilities in the communal areas of the hotel, made for some interesting nappy changes! This could be rectified by the hotel so easily.

They were very busy at 4 pm. I had a Guinness and a slice besides steak and ale pie. It was delicious. The wait staff were friendly. Great atmosphere. Families and friends sharing meals. Very dog friendly with small and large water bowls and biscuit treats for four legged companions. Definitely worth a stop

I went to this hotel with Mrs G because she had an Entrepreneur meeting there (I was not part of it) and I was the driver and chaperone :) I had planned to go out to dinner (she was having dinner at her meeting in the hotel. I had planned to drive somewhere to eat but this hotel is quite a way out of town - so I decided to eat in - I am glad that I did! My dinner was very good and well worth the money. Main course a decent curry and I spoiled myself with an apple crumble with extra custard . All good - pics attached.
