Best week of our lives, amazing service, extremely grateful to all the staff members who made our experience perfect despite a hurricane coming through mid week!

We had a great stay at Iberostar Cancun. We were part of a wedding group (wedding was off site, not part of resort). We enjoyed our cabana for pool time. We didn't try too many of the restaurants but I want to highlight, Santiago who worked during the breaks fast buffet service. He had excellent service and always made sure l had a cappuccino in the morning. We also really liked the little food truck trailer set up near the pool/beach area. I loved the quesadillas. Watch out for the birds. They will come after you and your left overs. The access to the beach is really nice but proceed with caution in the water. The current was very strong even if you're only a few steps into the water. Very beautiful blue waters to enjoy.

Visited here with my toddler and had a great experience. I'm always weary about all inclusive buffet food; it tends to be subpar. Luckily, the buffet food here was actually good! I always found something that I enjoyed. The kids' pool area is great for younger kids, such as toddlers, since the water is shallow. Kids can stand and walk around freely. Adults can also accompany them on one of the 4 slides, which is so nice. I've stayed at resorts where adults are not allowed on the kids' slides, which made them unusable for my son at that age. So this was a great experience! My son could play in the pool area all day if I let him. The ocean water is not as warm or calm as further down in riviera maya, however still pleasant enough for us to enjoy. Red flags are up daily indicating they do not recommend swimming, but most people still swim. We felt safe enough to swim in the ocean and enjoyed it. Service is kinda at most areas and resort feels very clean; they are constantly cleaning! Nightly entertainment was great as well. We particularly enjoyed the live saxophonist and live singer. The highlight of the trip though was the foam party. This was the first foam party I've experienced, and it was nothing short of epic! Of course my son was thrilled with the excessive amount of bubbles! The staff at the foam party did a great job of making it such a fun experience. They danced in sync to all the songs while the saxophonist played along to the beats. It was an unforgettable experience and would return just for that again!

First time at an all inclusive resort and I definitely expected better from the food. The food was at best mediocre with the a la carte options being a little better but still just mediocre. Service however was phenomenal. The guest services folks treat you like kings and queens, it honestly took me a little getting used to. Rooms and beds were clean. Bed was a little stiffer than what I'm used to. Pillow was not that comfortable but not bad. FOOD: 4/10 SERVICE: 9.5/10 Recommendation: Go with the expectation that food is mid.

My friends and I had a great time at Iberostar Cancun celebrating my friend's 30th birthday. Its located in the Hotel Zone and a quick ride to and from the airport. I believe I paid around $500 for 3 nights and it was certainly worth the price. The food and drinks weren't amazing but decent for an all-inclusive experience. Getting dinner reservations for their restaurants was annoying and they were all fully booked out by the time I checked-in. Fortunately, they do have a few restaurants that are walk-in and are easy to get into for dinner. I had the hotel room that was oceanside and on a high floor and it was really nice. The biggest headache was the elevator. They only had two functional elevators so it would take me around 10 minutes to get down each time. My friends were upgraded to an oceanside villa with a swimout pool which was awesome. It was really nice to have that privacy and easy access to the beach. The spa at the hotel was overpriced, but I was able to get a free massage by participating in a timeshare presentation. This is where they showed me which rooms the "members" stay in and they proceeded to show me the villa my friends are staying in without being a member! Other than the timeshare presentation, the hotel experience was great and I would highly recommend it for the price point.

Where do I start? The property looks beautiful from the outside, but looks do decieve. The age of the rooms tells you what you need to know, old stained and cracked floors with hair. I immediately had to call someone in to come back and clean the room I had already waited 4 hours for. Started in the buffet where I ended up burned due to negligence. The medical staff came to assist and had no type of butn cream or anything to help. I was told I had to pay out of pocket for separate medical help including some burn cream. They didn't even have a badic first aid kit that provided some, which they usually do. Not sure how room service operates but the things you place outside of your room to be picked up (food, cups, ect) can sit outside your door for a least 24 hours. Pretty much everything closes outside at 6pm while its still bright and early then the pools at 8 pm. Weekends included. So imagine you come on vacation wanting to hang around late night. You wont be doing that here. At this time, you would think you'd get to experience the promised 5 restaurants and buffet but no. 2 restaurants were closed/under construction. 2 were closed the entirety of the saturday I was there. Buffet food was nasty and repetitive so with everything closed, your options were limited. With such limited, that means a hugh volume of people trying to get into and eat at the other 2 restaurants and people getting turned away because there is no seating. Yes, you can take an uber and each at a nearby restaurant but why would you be paying at least $500 a night to stay somewhere that is supposed to have these things and they not be available when you get there? The entertainment was mediocre at best. I think they have better entertainment on carnival cruises honestly. Huge theater and stage for 4 people in costumes to do a few songs and minimal dancing. Clearly room for full productions to be taking place. Seaweed season is in so the beach was pretty much inaccessible aside from the one day it cleared up. Overall, I would probably never go back. Im young, I stay up late and I like to eat good food. This is more people who live a boring life, have children that go to sleep at 6pm and possibly people who have retired and don't expect much. For the proce I paid, I really wasted my money and Im not happy about it. I get everyone's experience is different but yea, no. If you want to have actual fun, be somewhere nice with great food and get the biggest bang for your buck, I would really recommend staying somewhere else.

Last summer, I spent a fun week at the Iberostar Selection All Inclusive Resort in Cancun Mexico. I booked through a JetBlue package, so the airline made it easy to book the vacation. The resort was massive; it had several pools, restaurants, bars, auditoriums, and recreational rooms (ie: game room with a pool table). This was nice because it gave my friend and I a lot to do, so we never got bored. The resort had different daily events that took place such as Trivia, Salsa Dancing, Magic Shows, and other live performances. Every one of them were very fun to participate in. The staff especially knew how to rile up the crowd and make it really entertaining! Service Rate 10/10. The room I stayed in was clean, relatively big, and had a beautiful ocean front view. The overall hotel was clean, however some parts of it were outdated (ie: the slow elevators), but it was still well maintained. Resort Establishment Rate 7.5/10. The resort had different restaurants from Italian, Steakhouse, Mexican, Japanese, and American. They also had breakfast and dinner buffets, and a cute little cafe with pastries and coffee. The food tasted average, nothing special, but that's understandable considering this is an all inclusive resort. That said, the unlimited drinks/open bars were the best part of the resort. The drinks were good, while others tasted subpar. Food rate 6/10. In terms of price, this is perfect for anyone who wants to vacation on a budget since everything is included and the overall cost wasn't too expensive depending on the flight/room/time you go (I went in May). Overall, I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone who is down to have a grand time in Cancun!

We just vacationed here for 5 days for a friend's wedding. We were not impressed with the overall resort. It seemed to be run down and in need of some renovations and more food options. Our room was dirty, only had 2 working outlets, and no overhead lights. The elevators are extremely slow. They only really have one option for breakfast and lunch each day-buffet. Reservations for restaurants were hard to get. We did however enjoy the habachi and steakhouse. Overall, Food and drinks were just okay. Beach and views made it worth it!

I want to go back! Two of my friends and I visited in February and had a wonderful time. We stayed in one of the rooms that had a perfect view of the ocean and of the pools. The staff throughout the whole stay were incredible including the front desk, housekeeping, bartenders and servers. The buffet was the go to breakfast spot although there were a couple other options on the property. We ate at all of the specialty restaurants for dinner and had no complaints about any of them. The property was clean and well maintained. The only complaint I had was some of the entertainment was not that great. They did not always start on time and it was just a little boring compared to other resorts I have visited. To be honest, the bartenders were my favorite and made me want to go back in a heartbeat! I definitely recommend this resort!

This place has beautiful views (depending on where your room is), but it is definitely at the bottom of all inclusive hotels I've visited in Cancun. On the first night, we made reservations at one of the restaurants called American Bistro. The food was okay. I later learned that it was definitely better than the buffet. We wanted to make reservations for some of the other restaurants, but we kept waiting until the day of and they were booked. The buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast options have not been great for me. I don't eat diary, egg or meat. But I do eat fish. So the breakfast options are sparse. I've been eating hash browns, tomatoes, guacamole, nuts and olives for breakfast. There's usually a fish option at either lunch or dinner. The salad bar has cold tofu, but there's no dishes with vegan proteins. The good thing is they have plant based milks (almond and soy), a salad bar, and fruit. Sometimes, they have vegan dessert options. One night they had coconut flan, which was not bad. Overall, the food is mediocre at best. As a coffee enthusiast, I found the coffee and the cafe quite disappointing. It breaks my heart. I ordered an iced caramel latte with almond milk. Tell me why this lady made my drink with some espresso already brewed!? The disrespect. The facilities are okay. The gym is quite small and they're not limiting the number of people, so it can get crowded. They take your temperature and give you hand sanitizer and a towel when you come in. They also have water available and sanitizing spray and towels to wipe off the equipment. The rooms need some upgrades. They do have central air, which is great. Room service and housekeeping are daily. You can tell it's an old facility. For instance, the elevators don't have air conditioning...the toilet in our room runs water after flushing it. The shower needs an update and the bathroom counters are worn down. If you don't spend a lot of time in the room, you'll be fine and maybe won't notice. There's activities everyday, but a lot of them are very fitness oriented. Of course, I like this lol but not everyone is trying to get a workout in. The alcohol is watered down--my friend took three shots and had two cocktails before she felt tipsy. There's higher quality alcohol, but it's actually not included. I wanted a shot of premium reposado tequila, but I had to pay $20 USD for that shot. I haven't tried the spa (and probably won't). One thing I do like about this hotel is the way it smells when you come in. It smells so good! But I wouldn't pay to stay here again. There's better all inclusive resorts in Cancun.

No, my Summer Body was not ready for me but I've been ready! And living it up beachside and poolside at Iberostar Selection Cancun reminded me that Summer is gon get whatevers in this bikini! I mean, how can you be self-conscious in Cancun?! Not this bikini babe! To celebrate my BFFs 30th birthday, she opted for the beautiful beaches of Cancun to relax upon. Having been vaccinated, I finally gathered the courage to get on a plane after a year+! As a frequent traveler, I've truly missed it, but happy to have waited until I was vaccinated and able to prep in advance. So when she told me we were staying at Iberostar, and in a swim-up villa to be more specific - OH BABY, I was thereeee! Upon entrance, Iberostar really sticks out. With its Mayan-like-shaped building, you can tell how grand it is from the drive up!! From the moment we walked up, it was a 5-star service! We were greeted, our bags sanitized, contactless temperature taken and taken to our room and when we walked into the lobby - PHEW! Gorgeous! The staff was SO friendly, so chatty, and kind, the check-in process was about 30-min it seems, but it went by smoothly thanks to the sweethearts at the counter. Let's get to the room: LISTEN. Maybe all this traveling on a dime is not all it's chalked up to be, LOL. I usually stay in nice spots, but not NICE spots because I'm cheap LOL but with my girls, of course, we had to live it up! Our swim-up room was beautiful! We opened our sliding door and waded right out to the beautiful pool we shared with 2-3 rooms next door, but still had our own level of privacy where we could lounge and look upon the beach. Our room was spacious and in an amazing location, I couldn't have chosen a better room! Iberostar being all-inclusive was superrrr clutch. It's always great to not have to worry about pulling out your card to pay or figuring out where to go for dinner because it's all included! Although never truly "top shelf", I enjoyed the unlimited Dos Equis, the champagne at brunch (some don't know it's available!), and the amazing Margarita with Tajin on the rim that I enjoyed at the fabulous swim-up bar! I didn't get to explore too many restaurants but the Buffet was my favorite surprisingly! Breakfast there was amazing every day, filled with such a great variety of options and I was excited to go back each morning. I really could go on forever because I truly enjoyed our stay here! The customer service was excellent, the food options were surprising and delicious, the views unbeatable - this is definitely a place to live your best life!!! (Safely. With a mask. )

Spent 3 days here last week with a group of girlfriends and we all had a good time. Facilities were clean (although the rooms were a bit run down) and the pool/beach area was beautiful. The staff was the highlight - everyone was so friendly and I appreciated the range of activities they had mapped out for us everyday. A big shoutout to Pedro, Jaime, Erich and Adrian for hosting all of the crazy games. The food at the buffet was very average (definitely recommend making reservations at the restaurants ahead of time if possible). Drinks were good and the bar was well stocked. All in all not bad for the price and I would recommend a visit!

And with billboards offering services directly to your room and a hospital system where you only go if you're sick. The "grey area" is a pretty loose term. The entire hotel is illuminated with L.E.D.'s. The space is immaculate. It was 1/4 mile from the room to the lobby. The ballrooms and convention spaces are like a stadium. (Indoors or outdoors). The public bus arrives every (2) minutes and are often full. It is approximately .50 US to go 30 miles downtown. Just looking at the creative ideas a child could write a book . "This ain't Tijuana". The malls and beaches are protected by federal soldiers and the streets have checkpoints every mile. They obtain your information and destination. If something is off a militia is on alert. We visited there one evening and have the best time and service! This isn't the same restaurant where you go to breakfast but at night is a Spanish tapas restaurant. Everything was fantastic but all the food on the property is really great! We especially loved to order lunch by the pool. All the cocktails are fantastic, even poolside! Rooms are standard JW with some of them recently updated with the others on their way to being updated. Yes, there is a sort of a musty smell in the air, but that's in most hotels. It's a very hard to keep those highly humid rooms from smelling a little musty. You just have to get over it and enjoy the time outside the room. Pools are super cute and the beach area is nice. There is an adult pool that is open during the day but wish it was open later! Lots of places in walking distance if you decide to venture out of the property but why would you need to! Easy drive from the airport and to the downtown or for departure to Isla Mujeres. We did not go to the island this time but last time we booked everything through the hotel and they made it super easy.

Unfortunately, for the past two years, our experiences have declined significantly. The hotel no longer maintains the level of service and standards we once loved. The atmosphere feels different, the staff are not as welcoming, and there is a noticeable lack of attentiveness and care. During this stay, we had a particularly unpleasant two-day experience at the beach regarding the setup of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Rather than going into every detail, I will simply say the situation was handled poorly and left us very disappointed. What was most upsetting was that no meaningful effort was made to resolve the issue or make up for the inconvenience. Even after speaking with Guest Relations, who mentioned contacting the General Manager, nothing improved the following day. No accommodation or gesture was offered, which was surprising given the hotel's luxury positioning. It is also noticeable that the property feels quite empty during weekdays, except on special occasions or long weekends. Even then, the warmth and hospitality we once associated with this hotel seem to be missing. That said, I want to sincerely recognize Valenzo, who served us daily. He was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. We never had to ask for anything, he would notice small details, like refilling ice before we even realized it was melting. His service was outstanding and he truly tried to make our stay better. Thank you, Valenzo. You made a difference. It is genuinely sad to see a place that once meant so much to us lose its standard. We hope management takes guest feedback seriously and invests in retraining staff to restore the level of service this property was once known for.

I like the aromatherapy touch in the resort and in our rooms being able to choose which scent you wanted was very nice. I loved the separation of the toilet and shower by a wall and doors for privacy when using either. The water pressure and water temperature in the shower was great although there was some water draining from the shower during use. We would generally put a foot towel down to contain the water. The room was serviced twice daily so we were never without towels, etc. I also utilized the laundry service which was reasonably priced for three pieces of clothing and it was returned the next day. The staff was generally very courteous and helpful (we only had one less than courteous experience with a waiter at the Hidden Garden on our last evening). The food at the restaurants and by the beach and pool area was great - I cannot say enough about the fresh fruit and the grilled ribs and chicken so well seasoned and cooked with flavor. We ate daily in Siete for breakfast (the smoothie station you will need to go to first because it fills up because the smoothies are sooo good). We also dined at Hidden Garden where I enjoyed Indian cuisine which was delicious (but a small portion). All inclusive so it was nice not having to continually carry payment and only the gratuity needed for the staff. The last two mornings of our stay there appeared to be construction in the room next door or our floor which was disturbing - we did alert the front desk staff and it would generally stop around a certain time. Getting beds and chairs at the beach was generally easy but for the pool it was the hunger games usually having to place towels or bags on chairs early to 'reserve' them (there are no reservations for chairs only for the larger cabanas for an additional fee) We also experienced the spa which was amazing. They have several options of the usual themed restaurants. Casa Madra is the Mexican one and probably the least interesting, there were was an odd lack of salt on the chips and food :-) The Japanese combo restaurant (sushi and hibachi) appears confusing to customers and staff :-) Much of the sushi related menu appears to have an additional cost. I was told that the California Roll roll was extra, but the sashimi platter had a roll? The Diakon Maki was great. No chopsticks available for some reason close to closing? Hibachi was okay but I was missing the "yum yum sauce" :-) The unique beach side Delphina restaurant is probably the best and have some good dishes. The one at the Mexican restaurant is open to the outdoors, but they have hawk trainers to keep the birds away :-) The Champions sport bar is out by the main entrance door to the left. Open 12m to 12am. Damien is great. Pro tip: get a latte from the main lobby and top off with Bailey from the sports bar before the lobby bar opens at 4pm : Janssen has some cool tricks and drinks at the lobby bar :-) Very clean, staff of all levels picking up things everywhere. There is turn down service here, which I wasn't expecting. Large number families with kids, which didn't brother us. Count on a destination wedding party over a weekend stay :-) Coming here between the two US holidays (Thanksgiving & Xmas) there is a dip of occupancy to around 50% it appears. All in all positive and not a bad place to burn your Marriott points in my mind. It may not be a high-end all inclusive resort but will fit many just fine :-)

The staff was always nearby, attentively anticipating our needs and checking in seamlessly to ensure we have everything we could possibly want, creating a refined and personalized luxury experience throughout out stay. The property itself is stunning- beautiful ocean views, though it is an old property but is well maintained. Our room was spacious and had breathtaking views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea. The food was another highlight. With multiple onsite restaurants. Vina del Mar was perfect for starting the day- it serves breakfast lunch and dinner and offers mexican and international cuisine . Outdoor sitting was beautiful. All other restaurants would need reservations- and we tried Chianti Trattoria Italiana - serving Italian cuisine and had elegant atmosphere. La Joya- serving authentic Mexican cuisine with incredible presentation. With its prime beachfront location, relaxing pools, outstanding dining options, and exceptional service, Grand Fiesta Americana Cancun delivers a truly luxurious experience. I would absolutely recommend this resort and would love to stay here again.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place for a all inclusive, ADULTS ONLY resort. The resort it self was clean, modern and flawless. The service and people working there was top notch, everyone made us feel like royalty. The food was so good, obviously some spots weren't perfect but 90% of the time we LOVED what we ate. Was full inclusive so we ate a ton and drank a lot! The pools were beautiful and lots of options having 4. From Tuesday to Thursday it was so easy to get a spot at the pool or beach, would show up at 11am and find a two chairs and umbrella no problem. Friday/Saturday it was a bit harder since it's the weekend so the pool area was packed by 1pm but went to the beach and again found two spots with umbrella no problem. Beach was solid for hotel zone, this area of Cancun is known for having bad seaweed but the resort did its best to keep it cleaned up. Was able to get in the water some days and not see the seaweed everywhere. We did a preferred booking so got room on a higher floor, exclusive quick check in, access to roof top pool and restaurant. So if you don't care about those things just do a regular room but the upstairs pool was incredible. This place is definitely a relaxing resort, not a ton to do at night but that's what we wanted for our honeymoon. Pool can be somewhat lively during the day with music, and performances but at night it's just casual bars, restaurants and what not. Everything dies down before 12. Did a spa day too and it was great, had a couples massage, full body scrub, and hydrotherapy circuit for two that costs $398. I recommend booking it when you arrive as they may have deals. It was a great experience overall, we would for sure come back 100%!!! Every single worker there was so nice and helpful. Did not have a single bad experience with anyone that worked there.

Great breakfast and lunch buffets. I wish the food was a little better at the restaurants but it got the job done. No reservations needed unlike some of the other all-inclusive hotels. Excellent service the entire stay. Great beach access. Get out to the pool/beach early if you want to reserve a chair for the day. If not, people leave around lunch time and you can snag their chair. Located in the hotel zone of Cancun so it only took maybe 15 minutes to get there from the airport. Gated resort with an attendant. We never felt unsafe and even ventured off of the property to check out the shops across the street. I would highly recommend this resort!

The overall location is fantastic, and the views are absolutely stunning. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the restaurant situation. Most of the good restaurants require reservations, and they fill up quickly, so you don't always get the chance to use them. Other than that, it's a wonderful experience!

I honestly don't know how this hotel has any positive reviews. I stayed here for just one night,…read moreand it was horrible from start to finish. Room condition: The moment we entered, I noticed mold on the floor, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one advertised as all-inclusive in Cancún. The room felt dirty and outdated, and I honestly didn't want to touch anything on the floor. Sharing a small bed with my sister made the night even more miserable, and the furniture barely felt usable. Cleanliness: Absolutely terrible. Not only was there mold, but the general vibe of the hotel made it feel uncared for. I wouldn't trust anything in the room that might touch my skin or clothes. Environment: Outside the room, there were ants crawling everywhere, which is gross and completely avoidable. The hotel clearly doesn't maintain its property properly. Food & Amenities: The food was honestly mid at best--nothing to write home about. Limited options, bland taste, and completely underwhelming for a resort that calls itself all-inclusive. After seeing the room and the unsanitary conditions, I honestly didn't even bother trying much. Overall experience: This place is not worth your money. One night here feels like a lifetime of discomfort. If you're expecting a clean, comfortable, all-inclusive resort, stay far away. The beach might be okay, but that's not enough to make up for moldy floors, tiny beds, mid-tier food, and ant infestations. Rating: 1/5 stars--maybe even 0 if Yelp allowed it. This hotel deserves the low reviews it gets. I can't stress enough: don't stay here unless you want to ruin your vacation. Update: This place somehow got even worse overnight. People were blasting random music at full volume outside until 1 AM, and the hotel did absolutely nothing--no control, no quiet hours, nothing. Sleeping here was basically impossible. On top of that, the bedsheets were so bad they made my skin irritation significantly worse, and I woke up in actual pain. Between the noise, disgusting conditions, and zero management, this was easily one of the worst nights I've ever had anywhere. Avoid this place at all costs.

Hard Rock Cancun feels more like a faded backstage pass. *AMBIANCE* The hotel is noticeably dated--worn furniture, tired decor, and not well kept. In some guest hallways and rooms, you are hit with a strong MILDEW / MOLD smell the second you walk in, which was an instant red flag and made it hard to appreciate anything else. We had to switch rooms after the first night from the smell which gave me a headache. We also noticed condensation leaking from the AC, broken furniture, cracks in the walls, etc. Now the best part was probably the beautiful beachfront location, large pool facility and getting to see the oceanfront view. *FOOD* If you want to eat dinner at the themed restaurants (Hibachi, Italian, Steakhouse, Seafood), you have to reserve a time slot on their app. The app was quite glitchy. The food had its moments, but overall, it felt like the chefs were playing a game of culinary roulette. Some dishes were good enough to make me hopeful, while others made me question every life choice that led me to that buffet tray. I would say the best spot was the pizzeria, it was fresh, though pies were gone in seconds once they came out from the oven. *SERVICE* Upon instantly checking in, you feel like you are herded like cattle by being passed onto their concierge that tries to sneak in a timeshare presentation. That said, service at this hotel felt more reactive than proactive. Overall, for a 5-star hotel, it certainly felt a lot lower than that. If you're looking for a clean stay with 5-star service, I'd probably look elsewhere.

WOW This is our…read morefirst resort in Cancun and I don't think we will ever choose another one. FOOD Wow. We did our homework before our trip and saw Zilara Cancun had good/decent reviews about their food. Let me tell you, this is probably the best food I've had in a long long time. Top dishes for me are the octopus with mole and lobster tostada from Maria Marie. If you like/can eat seafood, trust me on this. The drinks are phenomenal as well. There are signature drinks at all the restaurants. Those are mostly hits but some are misses (depends on your taste buds) PRO TIP: sign up for alcohol tastings at The Den first day you get there. We did tequila and wine tasting. It was quite a unique experience. SERVICE I've never gotten treated like this in any hotel I've been at. Chef's kiss for sure. The bellhop/front desk usually can break your 20s/100s into 1s so don't feel the need to exchange pesos (unless you want to of course). The workers at the hotel (and around Cancun overall) takes USD PRO TIP: there are a lot of activities hosted by the hotel. Morning exercise classes are really fun and the night shows are just okay. The crowd is definitely on the older side that just want to come to Cancun and chill not party. From hearing the reviews, Zilara had the most amount of activities from various first hand reviews from our friends All in all, solid resort. You won't regret it!

I wish they would have advertised/told us the buffet had different theme dinners. They were our favorite for dinner. There were good dishes at each, but nothing phenomenal. I really liked the lunches they had set up by the pool. It was overall good and on par with my expectations for an all inclusive. BEACH- this is honestly one of the highlights. The resort had one of the best beaches and ability to get in the ocean. If you want to get in the ocean, this is the spot. SERVICE - this was the most disappointing. At Excellence you cannot breathe without someone asking if you need something. It took a long time for people to check on us and we tip well. Day 4 we finally found Humberto who was THE BEST! Find him and tip him well. ROOMS- they were good and I was happy with them! POOLS- the pools were fine. A little shaded. The most annoying part was the cabana situation. Some are free, some are always paid, and some are paid on certain days. I get up at like 6AM every day anyways so I got good cabanas but if you're not an early riser you're screwed. Overall, I'd return!!

We went to the Italian restaurant, Capella, and because we had the reserve option. We also tried. Both of these restaurants were excellent. The bartenders outside were excellent Raymundo by aqua was wonderful. The bartenders at the adult side pool were also great. The service by the pools is lackluster in the general areas.
