I had a really hard time clicking with my counselor here, so after 4 sessions I decided I should…read moretry somewhere else. It just wasn't the right fit for me. Since canceling back in August, I have been charged an additional $280 by them, split into random chunks of amounts ($25 here, $100 there...) and have literally been calling and emailing for over a month to get someone there to fix it. It would be fine if I heard something back and for some reason I am mistaken, but the fact I have received no response whatsoever is infuriating. Obviously disputing with my bank and will never go here again. Would not recommend.

The grief was disabling during the day also and I was unable to work or do day-to-day tasks, my mind was reeling. I knew there was no way I could do years of counseling to get through it, I needed something fast to help me return to normal life. I called ECC and asked Melanie what she could do to help heal me to accelerate the process of trauma, and get results and relief fast. She introduced me to EMDR and Matrix Reimprinting. I had never heard of such a thing and didn't know the technology behind them , and truly thought they sounded like a waste of time and would not work. But I was desperate. After learning how they work on the brain and body and the historical proven results, I gave them a try. Much to my surprise I was shocked to see that not only did they work but they gave fast results and relief to my grief and pain and reeling thoughts that would not stop. The effects were so positive I couldn't quite believe it could be that easy... I still am baffled and SO incredibly grateful to Melanie and ECC for having these techniques to offer to our community. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! I was able to quickly returned to normal life. I was also able to cope with all that came after the accident well. Later that year I also had a serious incident with a family member that I was feeling similar trauma about and went back to ECC. As the first time, Melanie was able to bring me through it quickly and painlessly with these amazing techniques that seem to good to be true. I have been back to ECC for my relationship too, and it truly helped me for over a year, with the guidance I received from another great therapist there named Kathy. I highly recommend these guys!

How many times I've heard "he's just a kid" "he can read and write he's doing fine the other things don't matter" "he just has a lot of energy" Dr. Dan had to find out for himself. He worked with my son over appointments, doing testing, talking to him and he agreed with me he has ADHD. He thoroughly walked me through and confirmed a lot of things we see at home and the struggles he will face if ignored. He just *knew* exactly how his diagnosis presents itself at home verses school. We were given many options, a treatment plan, a school assistance plan, and more importantly hope he will not just be put in the back of class or suffer with relationships and professional opportunities later in life. We're beyond grateful for our experience and experiences to come with Dr. Dan. My child absolutely loves going to see him and looks forward to being in his fun office. I was shocked at how quickly my son became comfortable with him. I think the most important part to me was under no circumstance was Dr. Dan interested in providing a bandaid or giving us a "possible" diagnosis. He made sure he was sure and confident of all advice and diagnosis. We now have a tool box ready to go and I'm so excited to see what the future holds for my little guy, rather than being scared or sad at the challenges he will face.

Compassionate, understanding, and caring, it shows in the feedback he gives and in the challenges that he's helped me through. I'm so glad I found you!

I was diagnosed over 20 years ago with adult ADD and went to see Siahpush only because of an…read moreinsurance change. Big mistake! At the first meeting I told him very clearly what my history and and what my expectations were. I was a little concerned from day one because I mentioned the book "Driven to Distraction", probably the best selling popular title on the topic, first published way back in 1994 and updated periodically over time--yet he did not seem to know what I was talking about. Because English is not his first language I thought maybe he didn't hear me correctly, so I set the concern aside and gave him the benefit of the doubt. I saw him several times thereafter and each time I left the session concerned that he did not seem to be listening. At one point he requested my S/O join us via facetime at the next session and she agreed and went through all kinds of schedule acrobatics to clear the time slot and even had to pull over in her car to wait for the call, but we did not call her from the session because he pretty much blew her off--incredibly discourteous and unprofessional, not to mention highly arrogant. All that effort at HIS suggestion and he just acted like it was no big deal, as if his was the only valuable time, not hers or mine. Instead of simply picking up on my previous, effective treatment regimen he decided instead to waste time trying to tech me various time management techniques which, as a 56 year-old graduate educated business owner and writer, I had tried decades ago. If ADD treatment was as simple as a few time management tweaks then there would not be such a large body of research on the subject or various medications developed to treat it. I am a high achieving person and it is a huge impediment when not treated--which was why I went to see him in the first place. In light of his obvious disregard of what I told him initially and after his rudeness to my S/O it was quite clear to me that he was wasting my time and did not have a clue about treating adult ADD--which is odd because it is a pretty basic and common malady among men. Over the 20+ years since I received my diagnosis through various moves and insurance changes I have had to switch providers a few times and I know from experience that finding an effective mental health provider is an enormous challenge, sometimes it takes several swings before you finally connect. When covid hit I put the matter on the back burner, thinking maybe I'd see him one last time and lay out my dissatisfaction with him after the lockdown ended (at the time we all thought the lockdown would be just a matter of a few weeks). A short time later I happened to be on a Kirkland Community Facebook group (I am a third generation of a five generation Kirkland extended family) and a woman was posting odd, out-of-place and disturbing anti-police, pro-Marxist, pro-violence political views and when neighbors politely made logical arguments as to why police are necessary and Kirkland's are held to a high standard she was really rude--which is common online, but not so much in community groups where people often know each other or cross paths in real life. I made a logical, reasoned, pro-Kirkland Police Dept reply and she called me an expletive. Then I noticed she listed her profession as a mental health provider at the Evergreen Clinic! I looked at their online roster of staff and there she was . . . WOW! That told me everything I needed to know, this guy is not only a bad listener and arrogant, but he entrusts clearly unbalanced, rude individuals to TREAT PATIENTS with DRUGS at his clinic! If you don't mind an inconsiderate, inattentive provider and a rude, pro-violence, pro-antifa support staff who do not conduct themselves like grownups in our community then the Evergreen Clinic might be the place for you!
