I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and overall operations at this gym…read more The woman working at the front desk today was very rude and spoke in a condescending tone. Normally my husband takes our daughter to her class, but he had a dentist appointment today so I attended instead. After this experience, I honestly would have pulled my daughter out of this gym immediately. The substitute/manager I spoke with initially provided me with inaccurate information regarding my daughter moving up to the preschool class. Later, when I spoke with the front desk employee, she told me the teacher had been giving parents the wrong information all day and proceeded to reprimand the teacher in front of everyone when she returned. It was very unprofessional to witness staff correcting each other publicly. Afterward, the teacher attempted to backtrack by saying my daughter needed a lot of help. This had never been mentioned during the earlier conversation about the preschool class, especially considering there were only two children in the class at the time. This was also the first and only time this teacher had ever worked with my daughter. Her regular coach, Shay, was on vacation. Honestly, Coach Shay seems to be the only person holding this place together. The staff turnover is extremely high, which is very concerning. Considering the cost of tuition adds up to well over $1,000 per year, there should at least be some type of progress notes or communication system in place so parents receive clear and consistent information about their child's development. When I called back to speak with a manager, the same rude front desk employee transferred me to the same teacher she had just reprimanded -- presenting her as the manager. This only added to the confusion and lack of professionalism. Lastly, the facility itself is very outdated and unclean. There is a noticeable odor when you walk in, and the floors and equipment appear dusty and dirty. The cleanliness of a gym where children are constantly on the floor should be a top priority, but that clearly is not the case here. Because of this experience, they will not be receiving any more tuition from us.

I have loved seeing both my daughter and stepdaughter thrive in gymnastics at this gym. The only…read morething keeping it from 5 stars is the age of some of the equipment. I was brushing mat lint off of my daughter today after her workout. It would be awesome if they had a pit!

So far best gym chain in the DMV right now without having to go to the extreme side of the scale…read moreand pay for what may as well be a private "club". Onelife gyms expanded to purchase a lot of locations of other region gyms and in doing so their styles differ a bit between gym - which may be jarring for some. But you don't have to notice if you get the cheaper membership with fewer gym choices. Classes are good and offer varied options, but you may have to hunt for which gym works for your time schedule as getting to one on time is a chore with our traffic. Including all the basics you may need and more, like child care optional extras for the families that need it. At this pace this is set to be a good gym for you for the next ten years easily.

I've been coming to this OneLife Fitness location for quite some time and have always had a good…read moreexperience... until today. I came in for my regular workout around 8:00 PM and started a warm-up on a machine in the personal training area. I understand that this area is prioritized for personal training between 6 AM and 7:30 PM, but at that time (8pm)there wasn't anyone using this specific machine. I even asked another member nearby, who confirmed he was not using it. A trainer with tag name under Michael L approached me in a very aggressive and confrontational manner. I had my headphones on and barely heard him yelling out, but before I could even respond, he walked up and pretty much forcefully pulled the machine cord and told me to leave this machine because he claimed to be using it for his trainee. What made the situation worse was that even the trainees he was working with appeared uncomfortable, and another member who witnessed the interaction told me not to mind him and kindly offered me his machine instead. This was a very disappointing experience and not the level of professionalism I expect from someone representing this gym. I hope management addresses this, as it reflects poorly on an otherwise good facility.

Would give zero stars if possible!…read more On July 7,2023 we paid a substantial amount of money to the Dale City Sports Club for Christiana to play on one of their travel tackle football teams, we were told that this would be a full season and the reason the cost was so high was that this was a travel team and that it included a full reversible uniform, a travel uniform (travel outfit of sweats and a top) and a team duffle bag and helped pay for the fields that we would practice and play on. Over the next couple of months we were never given a full schedule of games and often didn't end up getting the game information until a day or two before. This issue cause many of the players to leave our team and opt for their school teams. Multiple games had to be forfeited because we didn't have players and others were cancelled by the league and in the end the season was cut very short. The games that we did play were teams that we should not have been playing as we were not on the same level as them. Our practices were supposed to be held on a school football field but only maybe one week were actually held there, we ended up having to practice in an open field behind a different school. The practices were a joke. They were never shown how to properly hit, they never even brought a dummy on the field and it wasn't until way into the season that they even had the kids hitting each other and that only happened a few times. No one knew plays or even the fundamentals. The scrimmages and games we did have, our team was demolished because they had no idea what to do on the field. Coaches from other teams and leagues came to our games and laughed and shook their heads at us. After multiple game cancellations, no practices, and zero communication for weeks the "president" of the league finally called a parent meeting where he informed us that our season was ending early. He said we could practice with another team (located in Alexandria, 30-40 minutes away) if we wanted to but that our kids would not be allowed to play in any games. Christiana only played in maybe 2 "games" and never received any of her uniform or team items (which I had asked about at just about every practice). Because of this Luke and I asked for our fees to be returned. He told us that her uniform was now there and she can have it but at that point there was no season to use it with. We said we didn't want it at that point and that we would just like our money back. He asked us to stay behind after the meeting to discuss it and then told us that we would hear from him about how to get it that Friday (meeting was a Tuesday I believe). We never heard from him! I have sent 3 messages on the team app and have attempted to call the number multiple times. I can see on the app that he has read every message and yet I still have not heard anything. I have been very patient and cordial in my messages to Nathan Price with no response. I always prefer to handle things privately and without commotion but it looks like that is not going to be possible with this situation. I do not want this to happen to anyone else so I will be taking this information to social media and review outlets. Dale City Sports Club, Nathan Price, if you would like to speak to us privately about this situation, you have all of my contact information and I would be thrilled to hear from you.
