I've been using IW Insurance Center since about 2007 when I met John Tsai and found out he works at this insurance brokerage. Since then, he's been able to provide me with competitive insurance quotes on an annual basis. 1) I appreciate that he strives to provide a high-level of professionalism 2) He makes me feel like he is genuinelytrying to save me money by shopping my policy around. And yes, he does provide me with the low down between which insurance companies are too cheap for the hassle, and tells it like it is. 3) Very legit kind of guy that doesn't necessarily treat you as a customer, but talks as if he's a genuine friend looking to hook you up with quality insurance at an affordable price. I want to give zero star if they have it. This office try to get money from customer as much as they can, they don't even care about your right. We were just asking how much the fee is to add a additional driver, what they do is just add the driver without your permission and to charge the 400 dollars. When I call them, they were very nice at the beginning, but if you mention question about cancel insurance, their attitude changed so fast, and they will yelling at you. Oh my god, this is the first time I have this kind of experience. I am not usually give low rate to people or business, but their service is sucks, and they try to cheating customers. I would not recommend you guys get business here, because you will get in troubles. If you do, what I can say just good luck. read more

I W Insurance is a small insurance brokerage working in a small office in Arcadia. It's been in business for quite some time, and we were referred to this business from a relative. In the beginning everything went smooth as far as Auto insurance goes. However, their lack of service and professionalism started to show when they started working on other insurance programs for me and my family. When it comes to health insurance, they suckered my mother into canceling her existing insurance first and then signing up with theirs. My mom was rejected from the insurance company because of preexisting health issues, and no longer has any health insurance as result. (This was before Obama's healthcare was in effect). She couldn't get insured by any company after that. We should've learned our lesson then. I applied for commercial property insurance for my business and they took almost a month to get it approved. Whereas the commercial landlord said it only take at most 3-5 days. They have no idea what they are doing, and don't have enough sales staff to call customers and give a follow up. They don't even apologize for their mistakes. Lastly, there is a lady in the office, Zoe, who is always trying to get you to buy some kind of insurance. You can tell she just wants to make money. She doesn't even care about you. There is a more classy way to do it rather than making it so obvious to the customer. read more

I had no problem insuring with Esurance or Geico for the past 7 years (since there rates are pretty good online) especially with my "good driver" status. I've always paid my premium on time and didn't even mind calling to the main office to do policy alteration or changes myself (since they didn't have a specific agent or local office for me to turn to). My sister (who has auto & home insurance policies thru IW Insurance Center) always told me how her agent helped her did this & that....including switching her thru different carriers automatically during the past years thus always obtain the best deal on the market. I, on the other hand, prefer to stay put and keep things simple (since I don't really like to do changes). Unfortunately, I had to change my mentality last month after my Geico rate jumped nearly double. Things begin with an accident that I've been involved with 5 months ago (which I don't even feel it's my fault). At the time, I had to contact the claim office on my own to set up all the detail in regards to my vehicle repair delay.....and when the shop didn't fix my car right the first time, I ended up had to make numerous encounter with Geico myself because they would not reply the body shop for an additional estimation. To make the long story short, my car was finally done after a month of nightmare. That's ok, since all was in the past now. What I don't understand is, why my rate has to go up nearly a double now just because of a claim that has been determined not 100% my fault? I've made nearly 5 calls to Geico on my own....and all they told me was that I have lost my good driver eligibility & they would not have any other plan to suit my current situation (in order to down rate the premium just a bit). 2 weeks ago, I finally took my sister's advice and called IW Insurance Center. With in few minutes into the conversation, their rep immediately told me that there might be 5 companies that would best fit my current status (and to obtain the most suited rate). The rep even told me some of the detail on my DMV record that I didn't know about & suggested how he can switch me out to a different type of carrier in 2 years (once my record clears). With just one phone call to one company, I already got a lay out on my next 3 years schedule....including knowing the amount of money I can save. I ended up purchased a brand new policy with IW the next day (which turned out to be $500 cheaper than my Geico's renew offer) & also got myself a free "insurance consultant" who actually has access to over 10 different carriers for customers to choose from. I still have little feeling for my old carrier (who I've been dealing online for the past 7 years). But if the only way to get a good rate from them is to always pay your premium & never can have any claim (despite is unintentional), what's the point?? As a person who doesn't really like unnecessary changes in life, I hope this insurance company switch will be my last in the next decade or two (consider having a very good experience & vibe so far). My brother just got into a DUI 4 months ago and is desperately needing an insurance that comes with SR22...in order to reinstate his license. I've referred him to my local agent in the bay area and they denied to sell policy to him at first....& later called back with an outrageous quote (saying that they will need to write that policy thru one of their outside associates). I know the driving record in question isn't perfect, but we need all the help we can get.... We later got another referral from an attorney friend and it turned out to be IW Insurance that locates in southern California (San Gabriel Valley area). We were hesitant at first due to the geographic reason, but the representative over the phone ran my brother's record right on the spot & was able to offer a very reasonable quote (including SR22). This is the best quote we've got after calling 5 different places!! At the end, we were able to get a policy bound thru email / fax & was able to receive the insurance proof plus SR22 with in 40 mins. They even offered a free quote for my own car & home which out beat my current agent's rate by $450. My brother just got his license reinstated as of yesterday and the transaction went quite smooth with DMV. Just want to give thanks to people at IW....and I should soon transfer my own insurance over in October to save that $450!! read more

I used to work at an insurance company as a customer service representative for more 10 years. I know how important it is to find some one you can trust to protect your property, auto and health insurance. You needs some one who know what is she/he doing, who know the company products and the most important to know what their customer's needs. I love my agent, Zoe Chan. She is very experienced. Always take her time to listen to my needs and always offer me the best solutions. I said "offer" because she is never a pushy kind of agent and this is another reason I love about her besides her professionalism. Other staffs in her office are awesome too. They always call or send me a letter whenever I have a late payment. Make sure I won't have any lapse of coverage. When is time for policy renewal, they also shop for me to save me money. Lot of agents out there not willing to deal with your auto accident claim. They will just ask you to call the insurance company claim department yourself.
