Suddenly they hire a less than competent person named Daniel that has no customer service experience or ability to communicate in a friendly manner. He gave me one of the rudest, most unprofessional experiences i've ever had with any business. Not only did he sound like he was brought in from a less than adequate place, he admitted that he had only been there a few days. I asked to speak to his superior, he refused and denied the possibility to talk to anyone else. I called back a few moments later, only to be treated with more disrespect. I waited a little longer and called back to finally get his supervisor Imad Farah aka Matt. If condescending had a person attached to the definition, it would be Matt. Please find elsewhere to do business, from a customer that has been loyal for many years, to a customer that knows where his business isn't appreciated.

When I first met Phil I was impressed with his knowledge of his industry and his concerned and friendly approach with his clients. I soon began referring my clients to him for their insurance needs and many have been Cornerstone clients for several years. When ever I've needed to deal with a claim, the Cornerstone staff has been on top of the issue and I couldn't be happier with their coverage and customer service.

When I inquired why Mercury did not calculate the estimated annual mileage properly, this is the response I got from Landmark Insurance Agency. Latest response from Landmark (dated: 10/09/2023) - "All changes with Mercury are taking 4-6 weeks to be processed. You are more than welcome to contact the Dept of Insurance and/or Mercury's Customer Relations Dept and/or cancel your policy and purchase coverage through another Carrier" Landmarks' first response after I provided my odometer reading (dated: 08/28/2023) - "Thank You I have submitted the proof and request to Mercury. Please allow anywhere from 2-3 weeks to be reviewed and approved." If Landmark and Mercury have been delegient the calculated miles would have been done properly on my policy. I will be leaving a review for mercury as well, as I have to give benefit of doubt to the agency.

Which is why they deserve a Yelp listing, so more people can benefit from their services! When I purchased my first car, I didn't know anything about insurances, and was rushed into purchasing insurance the day of by my salesman so I could drive off that day. Later I found out I was somewhat scammed, as the insurance amount was about 4 times what I'm paying now with Shu. Lesson of the day... Don't use your salesman's referral, because they will probably receive a huge kick-back from the agent. After being referred to Shu by a friend, I've slowly migrated all of my insurance policies, including home, auto, business, etc. everything over to Shu. Shu and Sharon are professional, straight-forward, and will crunch numbers to get you the best value possible with complete coverage. They almost always reply instantly, and focus on developing personal relationships and exceptional customer service. Sometimes I receive email replies from them at 11pm or even midnight... One time they were on call while I was picking up a new car, so they could help me transition over, at 8pm. This concierge-like customer service makes me feel like an Amex black card holder, and they're always friendly! I'm so glad I found Shu, and hope others will benefit from her services too!

The guy, Yuan Fang, who seems in charge of the business, advertises he can do tax return. In fact, I just find out they only hold insurance agent license (CA Lic# 0D27730) rather than a CPA license. My mom paid him for the tax return service fee $280, give him everything he needed. He said he will let my mother know after he files it. He send my mother a text on the last day saying"Tax is done. Today is the last filing day. Now we find out not only he didn't file my parents tax return, but also claimed he couldn't get hold of my mother. My parents have to pay for the penalty for being late now, and he refuse to take any responsibility of it. When we ask him to refund the service fee, he immediately refused. I had to call the police to get our money back. I will definitely report him to the BBB and RIS.
