We found a small restaurant where nine of us crammed into one table. We spoke no Italian and the waiter knew no English, but we managed. He pointed to other tables food and appetizers and showed us on the menu what it was. That really helped us pick. As the food came out, we realized what a gem this place was. The branzino (bass) was super tasty. The zuppa was highly enjoyed, full of big seafood items. A very small salad accompanied the fish and would have liked a bit more. He also recommended a great white wine that complemented our food. At €20 per bottle, we had many. Then the tiramisu for dessert was fabulous. The waiter gave us some lemoncello on the house. Perfect. Bathrooms outside and in the back, cold wind when the door opened are the only complaints. read more
