You got to try this! I've heard folks talk about these places and always wanted to try one, but…read morenever felt like I had a need. But alas...it was finally time to try it. I'm not sure what I expected, but I do know this...when I stretch myself I will stop if I feel pain, tension, etc., whatever. But when someone else is doing it to me...suddenly it feels good, I don't mind, or I just don't notice the pain as much...or I just enjoy the "hurts so good" thing (lol). When I left there I felt like I got a workout, but I was just stretched...it was wild. It was honestly the next day that I "felt it". I'm a person who likes to stay in shape, but I've had a few things happen where I had to stop doing certain things, exercises, etc., and getting back to doing it/things after taking a break is sometimes difficult. Having a little help with stretching and working on range of motion is nice. I can tell it is working and is going to work. I look forward to the next session that is for sure. If you have any sort of tightness, getting over an injury, just want a good stretch, etc. and/or whatever the case may be...check it out! I think you may be pleasantly surprised. They do a free session so you can see what it's about, what they do, etc....so you don't lose anything. If it's not your thing, ok. If it is your thing, then they have a few plans to choose from. Please know that all of the employees are certified and/or have experience in some way in this arena and are very professional. If you choose to sign up for a plan, they have a website and an app you can download to your phone to schedule/cancel appointments. Of course, you are always welcome to call as well. It is located in the small strip mall around the corner from Publix in Palencia Commons next to China King. There is more than ample parking in this area and it's easy to get in and out of. They have a restroom as well.

I heard they offered a $5 community class on Sunday mornings, so I decided to give it a shot. I…read morebrought my own mat but realized they had several to choose from on site (as well as yoga blocks and other assistance items). The teacher was friendly and taught a perfect, easy-going Sunday morning flow. The lights were dimmed and the mirrored wall allowed me to see if I was as aligned as I felt I was during certain poses. The music she selected was great: relaxed acoustic popular music versus the usual spiritual instrumental (both are great, but this was a nice change of pace)! The savasana was my favorite part. The teacher walked around and placed cold clothes infused with lavender oil over our eyes which took me from relaxed to super-zen. I've never been offered that before and it was awesome! It also gave me a way to wipe down my mat once practice ended. Overall, I had a great experience and hope to make this class part of my Sunday morning routine as often as much schedule will allow.
