The newly-built store opened in April 2025 and is a combination fabric store and Amish general store. The aisles are wide, the lighting is excellent, the inventory is updated and very well organized, the prices are very good, the store is spotlessly clean, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have the best selection of Creative Grids rulers I have ever seen in a store! The discount quilt fabric is a huge alcove. I peeked in but it's easy to go overboard. Lots of selections from Moda. Speaking of overboard, when they say they have a boatload of fat quarters it's a literal rowboat of fat quarters! The people here are attentive and very helpful. And they have an excellent selection of blenders as well as panels. Plus some very cute kits. Their prices are on par with most other quilt shops. But that discount fabric makes it a great value. A lot of their little Bernina items are behind the counter and the employee was perplexed that I needed bobbins for my 535. She spoke to me like I did not know what machine I had and that I didn't actually need the specified jumbo bobbins my machine requires. Thankfully this is not my local Bernina dealer and I will be skipping this stop on my next trip to Shipshewana.

I have seen a lot of concerts here over the years and will be back! The pre concert giveaways and announcer add to the fun. The lobby is jam packed with artist autographed photos, guitars, and other memorabilia. I reccomend arriving early to see it all if it's your first visit.
