Speaking of overboard, when they say they have a boatload of fat quarters it's a literal rowboat of fat quarters! The people here are attentive and very helpful. And they have an excellent selection of blenders as well as panels. Plus some very cute kits. Their prices are on par with most other quilt shops. But that discount fabric makes it a great value. The newly-built store opened in April 2025 and is a combination fabric store and Amish general store. The aisles are wide, the lighting is excellent, the inventory is updated and very well organized, the prices are very good, the store is spotlessly clean, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The fabric section has an expanded selection of quilting fabrics. Cash or checks only.

Very Amish oriented and for the people that don't live in that way the items are of zero use. This isn't a grocery store. They sell fabric and farm equipment along with kitchen wares. Lots of sewing supplies and such things along the lines of that. If there is a specific item like that you're looking for the. This would be the place. I also found the employees to be unfriendly and judgy because I wasn't Amish. Or at least that's how I felt. We found Caroline's at the one stop shop hop a few years ago and have been wanting to visit her store. We were not disappointed. I do not think I could say one bad, negative thing. Everyone was so friendly. So helpful. My friend was picking fabrics for a small wall hanging. This is her first foray into civil war, reproduction fabrics. Caroline was so enthusiastic, it was inspiring to watch. She explained what she was thinking and looking for in her color choices. I bought three kits. I never, ever buy kits.
