Before entering the showroom, you walk through a mini store where if you buy something, you can enter the showroom for free which is pretty nice. As someone who loves horror movies, I really enjoyed seeing all the costumes, props and pieces from different movies on display. The showroom was nicely decorated as well. The day we came to pick up the kitty, we noticed gunk had crusted in her ear, which quickly became an infection. We took her for an emergency vet visit as it badly affected her equilibrium. She developed this in the intervening days between the vet visit Liz took her to (VetCo), and the day we picked her up for adoption (about 3-4 days). The kitten herself was free, which seemed a nice gesture at the time. Since then, our circumstances have changed, and Liz offered to take her back. However, things unfortunately took a turn for the worse when the infection and subsequent medical expenses were brought up. She made it a point to make personal and financial assumptions about us, yet didn't voice her concerns when we initially wanted to adopt, claiming, "I'm not your mom." We never brought up our financials, she assumed. While we understand the financial and emotional commitment to adopt a pet, the unexpected health problems this poor kitten came to us with could have been prevented before hand-off. During our phone call, when we asked for reimbursement of our kitten's medication costs (since the infection had developed during Liz's care, and the kitten was amongst a litter with a plethora of other infections such as pink eye with pus, respiratory, and underweight issues), she threw herself into a fit and hastily attempted to end the conversation. The kitten was dreadfully underweight when we adopted her, and we fed her until she was at a healthy weight again. Liz denied any hearing loss when we had initial concerns, but we later found out that due to the infection the kitten had under her care, the result was profoundly conclusive. When the cost of the medication was mentioned, she immediately became interruptive and combative, though we stressed no animosity toward her. Her words to that were, "Too late." You can love her shop all you want; just please adopt from her only to get these poor animals away from her so-called "care."

Walked into the store today during a conversation between a brunette, female employee and some…read morepotential customers--an older-ish couple. While deliberating over the purchase of a sweater as a gift for someone else, they casually discussed another similar-colored one they'd seen elsewhere. But instead of helping them decide between the two or just saying nothing (because that's what sales people are supposed to do), the employee said, "Then you should just go there." The couple left. So did I. But not before listening to the employee disparage the elderly couple, make fun of some woman's choice of holiday movies, and complain about the challenges of being 30. So if you're keen on a shopping experience with a bunch of hyper privileged white women judging you and being privy to possibly the most annoying conversation ever, come here! But if you're anything like me, don't. Too bad too, cause I probably would've bought something.

I mean, a place like Peddler's Village has something for everyone and it's definitely worth a return trip, which is just what my wife and I did after having visited a few years prior. You see, we were spending a few nights in nearby New Hope/Lambertville which makes a trip to PV almost a must as it's only about 10 minutes from those areas. Now if you haven't been here before, think of it like an Old Mistick Village/Kitchen Kettle Village/Smithville Shoppes kind of area (told you I like villages). What's great here though are plenty of shops you won't find elsewhere, at least not in those aforementioned shop areas. There's some crossover, but mostly the options here are unique and honestly pretty vast. What's really nice about Peddler's is the setup as the stores encompass a few greenery areas, but there are also some along a few streets and a whole other small shop area on the other side of one of these roads. Despite having been here prior, my wife and I still spent several hours going in and out of many stores and finding plenty of goodies. Those goods varied from house decor, to spices, to oils and honeys, to a few small gifts for family. Even better than the shopping might be the food and drink options. You'll find a few places to actually sit and have a meal as well as a winery (with some great vino), a brewery (shout out to Free Will!), a coffee/drink shop (Mama Hawks FTW), and a lot more. On top of that, Peddler's does a lot of seasonal celebrations of sorts. Our first trip was in the Fall and so the area was lined with tons of different scarecrows all made by different people. This recent trip was right after Easter and there was "artwork" created using Peeps marshmallows. Both referenced plenty of pop culture favorites and it was a nice added bonus to the experience. Overall, Peddler's Village is a gem of a spot. You're bound to find something worthy of buying and you'll definitely be here longer than you probably intended. Only downside is the place can get crowded, especially on a nice weekend day, so if you can find the time to head over early or during the week, make it happen. I know I'll be back again at some point whenever we find ourselves not too far away, because you can't go wrong with a cute village, am I right?

You can get things like seafood, pizza, and other fresh local dishes. And of course, don't miss dessert--there's homemade ice cream and tasty pastries from the bakeries. If you go during special events like seasonal festivals or craft fairs, it's even more fun. Local artists show their work and there's extra entertainment, which makes the place feel lively and festive. And don't forget, this place becomes special during Christmas time....

I couldn't believe how hard it was to find something that was well made, attractive AND affordable! I was about to give up and overspend on something new. But just in time, we found a great Pennsylvania House piece here, along with a helpful mini consult with the owner. I also appreciated being able to get the piece delivered for a reasonable fee. All in all, great experience. We will definitely be back!

Nice place to find some unusual antiques and salvage. They have a lot filled outside with old…read moresalvage items and inside the building there are floors of different items. I like that the majority of items are unique and one-of-a-kind. The prices are a bit steep but they are willing to budge a bit. I'm fascinated every time I go there just to look around. There are benches to sit on outside in the back boxwood garden. They had a few wedding receptions at this place. Worth looking around and seeing items from decades ago or finding some treasure from the past.
