Jeni set the vibes with my favorite music and she helped me feel so confident throughout the whole process. Despite being dressed in lingerie, not once did I feel too vulnerable. Being at the end of my pregnancy, I was feeling extremely big and uncomfortable! I had gone back and forth as to whether I should book the session or not. I was anxious, nervous... all the things! BUT I'M SO GLAD I DID IT! I would tell any pregnant woman (and non) to BOOK IT! Like I said.. I was anxious. I knew I'd feel vulnerable & when pregnant, overly critical of my body. However, as soon as I stepped into the studio, Jeni made me feel at ease and comforted. She truly cares about making clients feel SAFE and HEARD. I genuinely felt so sexy. HOT! And excited to be there. Jeni coached me through every movement and would even show me an angle / position before having me get set for the pics. I truly trusted her! I had all intentions of doing a bra/underwear, kimono, and sporty booty shorts / wet look, but by the end of my session, feeling so comfortable and beautiful (all thanks to Jeni) - I also did a curtain/lace nude wrap and topless pose! I usually feel super awkward in front of the camera, but I was completely blown away by how incredible the photos turned out. Karen was very easy and reassuring to work with. She made the whole process feel so natural and effortless, and me confident in how I looked. Her direction made posing way less intimidating. She paid attention to every little detail, lighting, hair, makeup, even the room temperature, to make sure I was comfortable the entire time. She also had a great selection of props that really added to the shoot and allowed for a greater photo selection. I also brought a friend with me, which I saw several other boudoir photographers in OC do not allow. She assisted with hair adjustments, posing, and hyped me up the whole time, which made the experience that much better. During the photo viewing (a few days after the shoot), she went through each photo for a yes, maybe, or no, and took notes on how I would or would not like photos to be retouched. She was a very patient and detailed listener to my laundry-list of preferences. As a tip, don't forget to book well in advance of birthdays/holidays if you're doing this as a gift for your S/O. Upon contacting her, it was about a week/a few days for her soonest availability and then a few more days for editing, selecting, and a few more days to receive prints. I was in a huge rush and Karen was kind enough to rush every part of this process so I could have the photos in time for a vacation with my S/O. Brynn explained boudoir to me and showed me samples of what I could expect in the final product as well as the process and timeline. Since I needed the album soon after the shoot, Brynn sent my photos to me the same evening to pick my faves and the album was delivered much more quickly than I anticipated.
