This place has a new owner and the food and quality of this food is simply disgusting I will report them to the local authorities for poor food management Also the staff has no idea what they are doing I am sure they never change the oil In the deep fryer either simply disgusting Don't go there unless you want to get sick !!! read more

Went on a Thurs and was very quiet. I was nervous after reading some prior comments. I was delighted! Went with my teenaged son. They don't stock a buffet but provide you an iPad you click on what you want and how many orders (some things come in singles some are in 6-8 per serving) Under Maki rolls we really enjoyed the crispy salmon rolls Crab Sashimi Shrimp Sashimi Shrimp Tempura Crab Tempura Deep fried sesame ball Crab sushi Squid The menu on iPad has pictures of what to expect. $27.99 /person. everything tastes fresh. We ordered in two batches Started off hungry and each ordered about 5 things ( remember some have 6 pieces) Then as we were finishing those ordered about three more things. Left full satisfied and nothing left on the plate. fYI they post on the tables any leftovers charged at full price to discourage food waste which I can respect. Service was good and friendly. Although only three tables at the time so you would expect that. It was a nice night out and will go again. The decor was nice, clean and inviting. read more

Can't imagine why anyone have anything negative to say about this place. The quality, value, and variety of food is beyond great in Regina standard. read more

Start with the good things. Service was good and very friendly. Dinner menu has sushimi which I love. The white tuna and salmon sushimi were excellent. The problem is these were the only things that were excellent. The nigiri(sushi) was too much rice but the fish was fresh. They offer buffet items as well. Most of these items were not very good and cold. Muscles and tiny crab legs were cold. Calamari was rubbery and not good. A few other items I didn't finish eating because it was terrible. Ordered the seafood udon soup. Picture showed seafood and veggies but all I got was one piece of shrimp and a bunch of noodles. Price is a little high for the quality being low. If you like sushimi(limited items) and that's all you eat, you will enjoy it. Gave it 3 stars because I ate tons of the 2 sushimi items I did enjoy. Maybe should have gotten 2 stars but sushimi isn't cheap and it was fresh. Most likely would not return to find here. read more

I Love Sushi - The only 2 good things on the menu. Salmon and white tuna sushimi - Sushi Bars Near Me - Regina, Saskatchewan

What can you really expect? I mean all you can eat for under $15, pretty cheap. Can't say I remember it all that well. I went 8 months ago but I knew then I would give it two stars but didn't get around to it until now. "Meh" is the best word to describe this place. It's just so simple, the food is 2.5. I give it a 3 because of the huge variety but take off a point on account of the slow service. read more

First sushi restaurant I've been to the first time I came to Regina. It's not that good or bad, but good thing is they have a lot of variety of food. So you can choose wisely which ones to eat. read more

Worst experience EVER. After an hour and a half we only received a small portion of our food. Then they tried charging us FULL PRICE! Left after 2 hours still not getting the rest of our order and would not budge on giving us any discount whatsoever. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! read more

We came at this place around 12:30 pm hoping we could get lunch but to our dismay, the rude staff turned us away saying they were not ready yet. So we told her we could do ala carte but still she said "no" and rolled her eyes at us. We are on our third day of road trip to Winnipeg and we just wanted to try if sushi here in Regina is better than in Vancouver but we are very disappointed with how the staff handled the situation. False advertising too saying they're ready at 11 am on their website or maybe that staff just doesn't want to serve customers, all 9 of us. Tsk tsk... read more

Really not great. Called ahead of time to ask if crab legs are included in AYCE and was told they were. My friend and I showed up and did not see any crab legs out on the buffet table. We were told they are cooking and will be 20 minutes. We sat down, ordered some iPad stuff and poked about the buffet. Buffet had no salad bar- it had a salad which wasnt very fresh looking. The dumplings were rock hard and dry- as was the beef. The noodles were also half hard half soft. None of the hot food was hot. The 2piece shrimp tempura from the iPad arrived: over battered, one piping hot, one cold and soggy. Salmon sashimi arrived thicker than my thumb and didnt taste very fresh. The crab legs came out about 45 mins later, not 20. They only put out enough for two small plates. We waited for another 45 minutes for the next batch. The crab legs were very salty, and just as everything else at this place, half hot, half cold. read more

My wife and I went out for sushi and to try a bit of their buffet. We only ordered 3 rolls and mixed tempura to see what we liked first. We hid 2.5 of the roles in napkins and threw them away in the bathroom and only ate one of the six pieces of "mixed" tempura. The batter was 2-3x the thickness of the yam slices and was raw and uncooked. The buffet featured mainly cold items that should be warm - over cooked but than allowed to cool and sit out in sauce. I was so excited to see steamed vegetables. I took two big spoons! Sadly they were coated in a thick gelatinous butter liquid, full of cubed MSG. The best part of the meal at a Chinese / Japanese restaurant was the coffee .... secondly their service, it was prompt and the bad sushi came out quickly. The worst part was immediately feeling sick and still paying $60 for the two meals and coffee after tax. Worst meal in our five years together. read more

This place tasted great one night a year ago. Three other times I went this year it was brutal. Bland, poorly executed dishes.... and the sushi was horrible. For a "high-end" expensive buffet it's just not worth it anymore. Sorry folks :( read more

The food was very salty and greasy with heavy batter. Must say that it is the worst Japanese restaurant I ever visited and I have been to many. I suppose that the all you can eat crowd can stuff themselves with this garbage and feel that it is good value, but no thanks. read more

This is two stars, as compared to what I've determined to be the Saskatchewan AYCE sushi average of 3 stars. Looking past the weird Chinese buffet (which every AYCE sushi place in this province seems to have for some bizarre reason), or the fact that they serve Ritz crackers, granola bars and Costco cream puffs for dessert, the sushi rolls just all tasted essentially the same. Beyond subtle variances in the amount of spicy mayo mix, or mango slices, I could not tell what I was putting into my mouth. The tempura was gross (vegetable tempura = 4 pieces of yam, and 2 pieces of pumpkin btw), but perhaps the most heinous atrocity was the rice, which was poorly seasoned, and mushy. I'm not a sushi aficionado and I have my fair share of Chinese-run sushi shop favourites, but when the rice tastes like the 2 day old stuff I get at the hospital cafeteria, that's a problem. Service was great, the ladies were attentive with bringing the food and filling our waters. But overall, I'd say this place is a notch below average. read more

Food was excellent, well worth the price for the buffet plus sushi meal. Was a little tight at our table for 4 people though. Minor complaint, but still something that stood out. Also a slight language barrier, at least with the server we had tonight, but again nothing that would stop us from going again. read more

No i didn't Love Sushi. Or anything else here particularly. Came after 1 on Friday afternoon. All the food items tended to be dry and over cooked. They used the same breading on everything from tempura to lemon chicken and it tended to be heavy and oily. The vegetable tempura were all too thickly sliced and heavily breaded so they were nearly burnt on the outside and not cooked on the inside. The wonton soup was Ok. And the shrimp tempura was also Ok. Service was fairly fast but the food quality was sad read more

Thought I was ordering from "I Like Sushi" and ended up ordering here by accident, tasted ok but I got food poisoning from the sashimi.

I eat sushi everywhere this is the worst no taste big big roll too much rice so you dont eat a lot lacking flavor... the sushi preparation is not done with care. im really disappointed it will be my last time read more

Typical Chinese buffet. Sushi was mediocre at best. Hardly any options for dim sum.

This buffet is not good $25 a plate and the food was soggy. Service was not good. They don't pay attention to you as a customer and you pretty much take care of yourself. Some customer appreciation is always nice when one group can drop over $100 a table. Very disappointing read more

My husband and I thought this was a different sushi restaurant that we had once ordered from so we came here. My first impression of the restuarant was not good. It is dirty in the dinning room, there were rings around the floor covered in guck. However I had to go to the bathroom so my husband sat down and ended up ordering when I was in the bathroom. Which by the way was dirty. Anyways against my better judgement we ended up staying and trying three different maki rolls. Big mistake. They were gross and soggy, and not even rolled properly, which I know isnt easy. However if you're a sushi restaurant its your business to have good rolls. We informed wait staff that the food was gross, along with the fact that they had many inaccuracies in their menu. The staff did not care at all. We paid 47 dollars for something that ruined our day. I do not recommend at all. On the other hand Hatchi Sushi is a wonderful sushi restaurant. read more

I really enjoyed, a bonus is the buffet with crab legs

Our first two visit in August were 5 star; good food and service. Our third visit on Sep 24 was 2 star, barely. Service was great, no complains. The udon noodle soup on this visit tasted like a chemical soup; the salmon was suspiciously flaccid and texture less. The won ton soup was loaded with MSG. Time to move on since the quality is so inconsistent. Price is a steep for the poor meal. read more

Signed up just to post this. Ordered online, asked for no mayo (with *** next to my request so it couldn't possibly be missed). Food arrived with mayo, I realize now that's because the rest of the sushi needs it to cover the taste of thick, overcooked rice and bland filling. Had to stop eating 1/3 of the way through the meal due to queasiness. Less than mediocre. read more
