"I love St. Joe" is a tourist knick knack store in the heart of downtown. With its plethora of tee-shirts and "St. Joe" themed collectibles, you're sure to find what you need. Don't forget to sit on the moose chair, which is honestly the star of the store. The employees are nice and the store is always clean. Unfortunately because of all the beautiful displays and abundance of clothes, it's a little tight in the store even though it is a large store. read more

Don't let your kids look even look at toys without a snide remark from the cashier. Very rude.

They will not reprint or refund anything, so make sure you pick an accurate print employee for custom shirts. The experience I had today was unfortunate. I asked the young girl who printed my shirt if she could reprint it, and was responded to with a "no". So I then asked if she would refund to which she responded no, but with an attitude. She instantly got defensive as if she had to stand her ground, when I very kindly asked about my options. It sucks that the shirt I purchased as a gift will not work, but it was the attitude that got me. 4pm on July 29, 2025. I hope management will speak to their team for better customer service. read more

Mostly tshirts and wearables at this shop. If you're looking for a souvenir from St. Joseph to put on your body, you'll probably find it, but for a store this size I thought there might be more variety. Look for the yellow awning and the Sasquatch outside! read more

I Love St. Joe - Sasquatch outside! - Souvenir Shops Near Me - Saint Joseph, Michigan

Terrible experience! Let my 14 yr old and his friends go in to look for souvenir t-shirts and they were told to come back with a parent. I went back with them and we were looking for what size would fit them and the lady called someone. All of a sudden this lady comes in and starts yelling at everyone. She said the kids threw fart bombs and they do it all the time. I told were from out of town and we just got to St. Joes and no one would have had time to find fart bombs. She continued to yell at me so we left. I was very disappointed but see a lot of similar reviews on yelp. We will never shop there again. I don't recommend bringing children in there. read more

The girl behind the counter was not kind to me as a customer. The store itself is crowded, and keeps nearly all sizes in the back of the shop. There's no room to walk around and the prints you can chose from are ferociously hideous and all look similar. Prices, off the charts. Don't even get me started on the candy. IT SAYS $7.99 FOR A 1/2 POUND, RIGHT??? Tell me why I choose my candy, blindly unaware of the weight. My friends bag cost $9.99 and she had more candy than I. However, when I step up to the counter the man (very kind) there goes to weigh it and I'm left in utter horror as the numbers chalk up to $18.34. FOR A MERE AMOUNT OF CRUMMY GUMMY CANDY. I gasp in shock and, stuttering over my words, I say "I-I can barely afford that." The gal behind the counter looks me up and down and starts making INSANE claims. "You have to buy it because you were digging your hand in the candy and eating it." FIRST OF ALL, MAAM. I DID NOTHING OF THE SORT. TO MAKE THESE SICKENING CLAIMS TOWARDS ME IS TRULY INSULTING. Out of fear and sadness I fork over $20 and receive my useless change. I then went on to walk out of the store and cry. Hey mean lady, if you're reading this, just know you made John Tweet sob in a public place. My children missed a meal because of this. They had to eat allegedly a pound and a half of candy read more

Was just there this week for 2 days. Always loved this store. Kids would go each year and pick out a toy from this shop. I always got my mom a shirt from here as well. This year I got her a T-shirt and when she washed it, most of the letters came off the shirt. She does not dry her t-shirts and washes in cold. I'm very disappointed. Their apparel is not cheap. Won't make this same mistake again. read more

Used to really enjoy this store Keywords, USED TO. My parents & I have been coming to St. Joes yearly since I can remember (25+ years now). Very disappointed that this store was run by an EXTREMELY rude woman who called my mother a grandma, cussed her out, and then said she was going to call the cops on her if she didn't leave... after just purchasing things from that same woman in that same store not even an HOUR before hand. Cute stuff, TERRIBLE service behind the register. Cussing out your PAYING customers, calling them names and then threatening to call the cops if they don't leave??? Extremely unprofessional, rude, uncalled for, and just made it a flat out miserable experience in this store. I know where we are NOT shopping at from now on. Shame on this woman for feeling she can speak to another ADULT this way. read more

Rudest store owner ever. Love that they take their dog to work with them, but probably bc they don't have customers bc I would certainly never return there and would not recommend anyone else shop there either. They spoke so harshly and hatefully to numerous customers, I've never experienced anything like that. Honestly surprised they even have two stars at this time. I had planned to make a fairly large purchase but after they very nastily asked another customer to stop looking at their displays I hesitated. Then when they spoke abruptly and rudely and didn't even try to help someone else I was with, I put everything back and left. There are a lot of other super wonderful stores in this town with kind and friendly staff - actually every other store we were in. Very surprised this place is even in business. read more

I am not surprised to see the last few reviews all negative comments about the owner and/or employees and their response to customers, especially children. The store is located right next to an ice cream shop and from all appearances looks kid friendly. Toys, balls, a giant moose chair in the front, no breakables (that I saw). My kids were looking around and picking up a toy here and there to show me, but they were calm, not running, etc. The worker said "this is not a playground, they can't be in here!" I chose to just take my kids and walk out, but my 17 and 15 year old neices stayed and were looking at some shirts. They soon came out after and said the worker came behind them and said the same thing to them "this is not a playground, why are you still in here?" They were trying to SHOP and spend MONEY in the store! I was appalled; enough to come to yelp and write this review. If we were the only ones I would chalk it up to a bad day on their part but obviously not. Maybe they get enough business when just adults come into their store, but if this is how they treat families, it will catch up to them. read more

Every time we're in town (every year or so) we visit "I love St Joe" to buy something to commemorate the trip. They have a great selection on apparel, plus lots of small toys, signs, sunglasses, beach and city themed stuff, etc. the staff was very nice. read more

I had a very unpleasant time. The male worker followed my friend and I around the entire time. He checked everything we touched after we walked away from the certain area. Other friends of mine have shared similar experiences with this store while being followed by the man. On top of this, everything is extremely overpriced. Extremely. The other female worker at the time was unfriendly while we checked out and seemed annoyed. The items were definitely not worth it for their price. I will not be returning. read more

Roaches in the changing room, YUCK. I would not buy anything from here until they fumigate the place. I told the girl at the desk and she said, maybe it was a mosquito. I said uh no, there is a bunch of them. DISGUSTING read more

This is a great shop when you are in downtown St. Joe. They have a huge selection, so you can shop there more than once. The prices are pretty good. They have 2 stores on that corner and a lot to chose from. I was shocked on the large inventory. The staff was very nice, pleasant and well trained. read more
