If you're looking for a professional team that is flexible, welcomes customized ceremonies, and will keep your guests engaged and enthralled in the moment, then you have found that team with I Do Ceremonies! From start to end this was the easiest process of all the wedding planning processes. Stephen is warm and welcoming and walked us through the entire process. He showed us how to customize our ceremony to ensure it was truly unique and represented who we are. Next Loren gave us gentle reminders all the way up to our big day to ensure we had exactly what we needed to make it our best day ever! Loren did an excellent job officiating the wedding! He followed our wishes to the T while also sprinkling in humor where appropriate and our guests stayed engaged the entire time. Stress-free, hassle-free, nothing but help and smiles - these guys are the true professionals! Thank you I Do Ceremonies for the peace of mind and excellent experience we had on our big day!

Stephen was by far one of the best choices we made in our wedding prearations. He made sure we didn't forget a thing, he showed us exactly how everything would go in the rehearsal and the ceremony was beautiful. He did a great job and if we could do it all again we would definitely chose him all over again!!

Where do I even begin? Stephen is phenomenal! We found him through our venue, The Terrace Club, as one of their preferred vendors. We hit the jackpot with Stephen! We ended up having our initial meeting via Skype and we spoke for about an hour. He took the time to get to know us and asked all the right questions. We felt very comfortable with him and knew right after that first meeting that he was going to make our wedding day perfect! We invited him and his wife to join us for dinner and the celebrations and our families absolutely loved them! Thank you Stephen for all of your help and support! We couldn't have asked for a better officiant!

Blown away by I Do Ceremonies!! I cannot begin to explain how easy and seamless Stephen made it for my husband and I to create our wedding vows. Stephen is a genuinely great person who cares immensely about your wedding ceremony. He was so professional, charismatic, and SO on top of everything for us. He'd send helpful reminders to us to let us know when we were eligible to pick up our marriage license, he has extremely helpful documents and examples to help you choose your unique vows, and is full of helpful advice from a TON of experience. I have had countless guests compliment Stephen and tell us how fantastic the ceremony was and how amazing Stephen was -- I've even had family members ask for a copy of our vows!! Saying I HIGHLY recommend Stephen at I Do Ceremonies feels like an understatement as he was BEYOND amazing and simply an absolutely JOY to work with!!

We liked the reviews for Stephen we found online and were fortunate enough to meet him at a Bridal Expo. From that first meeting, we were able to easily decide that we had found our officiate. Stephen's demeanor and personality were exactly the combination we were looking for. He was able to keep things lighthearted and reverent. He was always quick to respond to emails and assisted us in making great choices for our ceremony. The ceremony was excellent and Stephen helped to make sure everything ran smoothly. He has our highest recommendation for anyone getting married in the Austin area.

The other Fridays they had Country/Western dances. These are open dance nights, sometimes 12 people show up, sometimes 70-100 people. Only $5 per person to get in, something like 7PM-11PM. Sometimes they have special parties, which are a lot of fun, like on holidays. The Halloween party is just great, and you can win free lessons. And occasionally the place is rented out for private parties. You just have to check their calendar. It is available for weddings and I think it would be great for a wedding reception, particularly if you could get the staff to stay and liven up the dancing. The people who go here really vary- some people were high school age, especially home school students, soldiers from Ft Hood came sometimes, older people also. One person I met was 90 years old, and a very good dancer. Really anyone who appreciates ballroom dance. You don't have to be very good either (and they offer private lessons) because people are very patient and will usually help you learn at least the basic steps. The music is good too, some old stuff some new. Cumbia, line dances, tango, swing, foxtrot, Lady Gaga, MJ, Nat King Cole, if you can dance to it they play it. Also they take requests sometimes through the email list. The place is in OLD downtown Temple, on Main Street. When I went there alone the management would walk me out to my car in the evening sometimes, as it is dark and deserted there at night. The building they are in is really old, with a dance floor, stage, wooden floor, tables, bar (no alcohol, they sell snacks and soda, etc, it is BYOB), it used to be some kind of department store. The owners restored it, it has a great deal of charm. It has a second story window that a person sits at and DJs all the music. It is painted like an aquarium, which is funny. Anyway, if you want to hang out in a mature but fun place and meet lots of nice people, I highly recommend you check it out.

Long and quick story short, Pastor Steve led us through the process and our son and new daughter in law had a glorious day! The property is rustic and gorgeous. Quiet, calm, and open air. Trust me when I say, at the very least check it out and visit the Silo, you won't regret it.

Not only did they keep to their word about what would be completed by our wedding date but went well beyond that! She helped with of vendors, accommodations, decor, anything I needed she was right there. They let us come out there as many times as we wanted and were always so kind. For the price and all that comes in your package, you can not beat this venue! It's unique, inviting, and down right gorgeous! The place was clean and just the right size for my wife and I. Being city folks you forget how dark it is out in the country at nights. It was nice. We signed up for these adventures to make the weekend even more fun: 1. Feed baby kangaroo(Bodhi). This was about a 30 minute session where we got to feed him a bottle and kibble. It really was an amazing experience. 2. Bucket of food and self guided feeding of animals. We walked the property and hid to feed so many animals. All of the animals were friendly toward people. They were all very good motivated. We encountered a giraffe, donkeys, zebras, horses, cows, pigs, dwarf steers, camels, emu, deer, buffalo and more. The animals were often trying to bully their way to the front of the line. The cow Oreo who has not skipped a meal was always front of the line. 3. Afternoon safari ride in ATV. This was a fun ride around the property. Did not see any new animals but had a great time. The cows out at pasture were thrilled to be fed. 4. Giraffe encounter and meal. This was a little expensive but I would spend it again. The giraffes were super friendly and personable. We wanted to take them home because they were so much fun. The guide, experience and never felt rushed made this worth it. Our guide was top notch. I think her name was Jackie but could be wrong.

Truly, I cannot even begin to say how wonderful Fr Jef is…read more I contacted him years ago to officiate our wedding and unfortunately he was booked that day, but then COVID happened and pushed everything back of course. He was available for our second date of choice, but then that got pushed back too so we tried a third time. We spoke over text/email, and I felt a connection. That connection grew stronger when we spoke briefly on the telephone, but once we met Fr Jef in person, I had zero doubt that he was the officiant for us. He is kind, caring, has a tangible warmth, and above all is just a terrific person. He is professional but still can absolutely joke around and have a great time. He is also absolutely hilarious. His attention to detail is second to none. I am not sure what his middle name actually is, but my guess would be punctual because he is NEVER not on time which is obviously fantastic. He put our minds at ease, and we just felt safe and secure in his presence. The speech he wrote for us at our wedding was simultaneously beautiful, touching, and downright funny. I could tell everyone in attendance LOVED him. But above all, I love him. He is the right man for the job and makes every single couple feel so special on their big day. After the ceremony, I had probably 10 different people come up to me and say how wonderful they thought Fr Jef was. I said well of course he is - he's Fr Jef Johnson for crying out loud! They of course asked where I had found him, and I said that he had officiated my cousin's wedding in 2016, but I am assuming if you are reading this review right now then that means you are looking for someone to look out for you on your wedding day. Well let me tell you this: look no further. You've found the officiant for you, and it's Fr Jef. Thank you for everything, Jef! We couldn't be happier with our decision.
