I recently bought a house and needed to have the existing flooring removed and replaced with LVP,…read morealong with the existing hardwood floors refinished. After doing some research and reading the great reviews for John's Flooring, I decided to give John a call, and I'm so glad I did! John was able to meet with me that same week and brought samples for me to choose from. I also wanted a little extra padding under the LVP, which was no problem at all. A few weeks before the project started, I asked if he could also replace all the wood baseboards. He came out that same week to take measurements and promptly provided an updated quote. The pricing was fair, the quality of the work was excellent, and John kept me updated throughout the entire process by sending photos of the flooring installation and hardwood refinishing. The transformation was incredible! At first, I barely recognized my own basement because it looked so completely different. The hardwood floors had a faded spot, but after John refinished them, they looked brand new. John was professional, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I have another project coming up, and my first thought was to call John. I had such a great experience working with him the first time that I can't wait to work with him again. I would give John's Flooring a 10 out of 5 stars if I could! If you're looking for excellent workmanship, fair pricing, and someone who truly cares about the results, I highly recommend John's Flooring.

Thankfully, I got a second opinion from Dave's Master Floor Care. Dave carefully inspected the entire floor and explained that refinishing was possible -- and he delivered outstanding results with good value. Dave is thorough and an excellent communicator. He explained the types of wear on my floors and outlined his refinishing strategy step by step. With little room for error on this type of flooring, I appreciated his clear approach -- there's no "undo" button with refinishing! Dave also has tools I've never seen before -- it felt like he had a gadget for every challenge that came up. Plus, he's been doing this for years, so he knows how different stains and woods react. I even learned a bit along the way. And the best part? Dave does the work himself. Sometimes he brings an assistant to help with simple stuff, but you're really hiring him -- not a random crew. After seeing what he did with the floors, I also had him fix some big cracks in my garage and driveway too. Same story: great work, no fuss. If you want someone knowledgeable, equipped, and detail-oriented, I highly recommend Dave's Master Floor Care.

He provided a consultation for my indoor floors, but then I had him also look at my garage floor and he said he was able to do the work I was looking for, which is what I will be reviewing here today. I had a few cracks in my garage floor and was looking to Epoxy it to protect it for the winter. Dave explained to me his process and how it differs from the competition which helps keep his cost low. The best part about Dave was that he stuck to the quote he gave me, with no surprises or additional ask for money, and he started when he said he would, got the job done quick, and finished when he said he would - anyone who has worked with contractors before knows this is a rarity! Dave was respectful and treated the place with care, and I would recommend his work to others. We think the garage looks great! Dave is passionate about his work and did tend to over-explain some things to me, so some people might enjoy that more than others but it was great to hear how much he knew about the subject!

They took care of a drywall+door installation and a bathroom fan replacement. Among the 4 contractors we contacted for this, they were the only ones showing up in person to provide a quote. The others only asked for pictures and provided quotes based on those. The quote from Jose & Angela was very reasonable. A couple of times, as it is often the case, the project required some extra costs due to the unforseen conditions of the door and the fan we purchased. Jose was very transparent in describing the reasons of the additional costs and updated our contract immediately both times. At each step we knew what we were paying for why. Based on our experience, this is not something to be taken for granted. The final job was absolutely high quality. Moreover, Jose and his team did all they could to minimize the impact of dust etc on the rest of the house. I am very happy we (somewhat randomly, via Angi) got to connect with them. They will certainly be our first choice for any future work on the house that falls within their expertise.
