Business Closed - For my niece's wedding...the people at I Don took our payments for ordering 5 bridesmaids dresses back in March 2023 and now that we have been trying to follow up on delivery we found out the business suddenly closed down and no orders to the designer were ever placed. Some will try to dispute the credit card charges. But the girls who paid in cash are just stuck. Very unfortunate! read more

Ordered bridesmaids dresses in Oct of 2021. They were meant to be here in February 2022. They have arrived now which is 8/2022. Shop was very hard to get ahold of. Would not update the bridesmaids and said "we will only call to update the bride" When we went to get the dresses (4 hour drive for me) there were two other brides there who also ordered in fall of 2021 who's bridal dresses just came in. Also, they started to say we could not try on the dresses before we left but we had to sign saying there was nothing wrong with them. We didn't take that as an option. DO NOT SHOP FOR YOU BIG DAY HERE!!! First, let me start by saying I have never left a bad review anywhere ever! I am a firm believer in giving grace and that no business is perfect. With that said due to the repeated unprofessional interactions and the fact that I do not want any other bride to experience the stress my daughter and I went through brings me to write this negative review. I do bridal is about 2 hours drive for us. We drove this distance so that my other daughter the MOH could be part of the experience, since she was away to college. We also have family in the area so we visit Fort Wayne several times a year. There were so many red flags that we just over looked. There was an angry customer when we came in, the salesperson was unprofessional and some of the dresses were missing pieces. But, we over looked these things thinking things happen and trying enjoy the experience. With the excitement of finding "the one",we went a head and purchased the dress. In hindsight we should have taken the dress information and purchased it somewhere else. The night I purchased the dress I paid extra to have the dress ordered shirt and we were supposed to get 10% off for a sale they had going. The salesperson gave me some story about having a hard time ordering it short and giving us the discount and said would look weird on the receipt but assured me it was there. We were also told the Dress would be here by mid April 2023. Fast forward to January 23' my daughter veil came in so we stopped in to pick it when visited family. We decided to check on the dress and found out that not only was the dress not ordered short but that option was not even possible. When I asked about the money I paid for it yo be shorted we realized that the salesperson didn't even give us the correct discounts! When I expressed my frustration they did fix the issue and credited me the difference. Fast forward again to mid April 23' around the time the dress should have come in we started calling and checking on it. And we got the response that it was almost ready to ship. We got this response weekly for over a month. One time we were told that it had shipped then the following time told it did not ship but it should be shipped soon. After that we could not get a hold of them easily. Finally, I spoke to someone who gave the usual answer. I expressed my unhappiness and she gave me her personal number so we could text each other and she said she would personally talk to the owner and get back to me that night. The next day I texted back and she apologized for not get back but told me that the dress would actually arrive in one week. I was thrilled because we we're actually scheduled to be in Fort Wayne that night. I confirmed the day and told her we would be in town to pick it up. A couple of us including the bride had to take work off to get down there early enough to get the dress before the family event. The night before I again texted to confirm that we would be there to pick up the dress. She responded by saying it might be there but it might not come in until Thursday because they were having it overnighted. She promised to check on it first thing in the morning. The next morning she did not get back to me, so we stopped at the store excited to finally, get the dress - well over a month late. Only to find out it was not there and the girl there had no clue about anything! After several calls to the dress manufacturer and owner we found out the dress was overnight that day not the day before and that we would have to take work off and drive down again the next day and left empty handed. The following day when we showed up we were thrilled to FINALLY get my daughters gown. When they bagged her dress up they put it in what looked like a giant white garbage bag! I asked them if they had a nice garment bag? They told me they where all out and if they did they would cost $15! $15!! I spent thousands of dollars, have been led to repeatedly and the dress is well over a month late and you want to charge to a decent bag to put the dress in! After we started to have problems we researched this bridal shop and found several very similar issues! Some were almost exactly the same. The shop did not really seem to care. There standard response was we have never missed a date- referring to a wedding date. To me this is not a high bar. We are now 3 weeks late for fittings. This shop made dress shopping stressful and took so much of the joy out of the process! Please do not do this to yourself! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. My experience with this place started off wonderful with my consultant Lori (who apparently no longer works there). She is why we decided to get our bridesmaids dresses there. Getting our bridesmaids dresses there was a good experience also. This is where it goes downhill. I ordered my dress right after I got engaged and ordered it with custom sleeves that could come off and on (which I paid a lot for), the dress finally came in a few weeks ago and there is nothing on the dress for the sleeves to be able to attach. Yes, this may seem like a minor inconvenience but now I am left having to pay someone else to fix it. The issues mainly lye in the bridesmaids dresses. We ordered them the beginning of January, and paid in full for all of the dresses, and were told ABSLOUTE WORST CASE SCENARIO the dresses would be in during the month of July. I called to check up on them in June, was told I would be put on a call list for the owner to call because the people actually in the store cannot see the status of the dresses, I never received a call, fast forward to the beginning of July I called again and was told the same thing, and that the dresses were in transit and I would get more detailed location when the owner called, never received a call. I called again towards the end of July and was told that I would be getting a call from someone by closing time with an update and then they would call me the next day with an update if they did not have one by closing. Again, was told the dresses were in transit. Never got a call from the owner. By the end of July when I called again I was told the same thing and I responded by saying that I have been on the call list for 6 weeks now. She said she would call the owner and have her call me that day which was Monday 8/8 and again, I never received a call. I should add, the 4 calls above are the times I actually got through and when someone answered. My 4 bridesmaids, my mom, and myself all called over and over again the past 3 weeks and I only got through once and only one of my bridesmaids got through one time. At this point I am so over it and I go in yesterday 8/11 to see face to face and maybe actually get an answer (I would like to add that I live 55 minutes away and had to drive there just to get an update on my dresses which is horrible.) The girl started by saying the same thing that I would get put on a list and I stopped her and said that I had been told that for over 6 weeks. So, she called the owner while I was there and she said that THE DRESSES HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN SHIPPED but she would "put them on expedited shipping so they would be here by the end of next week" after them telling me for weeks that they were in transit and would be here soon. This puts me at just over two weeks until the wedding. I was told that "the owner has been busy calling designers for the past 6 weeks and that fall is such a busy time for us" Well, if it's taking her 6 weeks to call the designers, maybe she should stop taking orders so that I can actually have bridesmaids dresses for my wedding that WERE PAID IN FULL. And the excuse of Fall being a busy time for them? I'm sure it is but Fall has been a popular wedding season forever and that is not an excuse to have horrible service. Also, I have been into the shop 5 different times now for various reasons with the dresses and I have never seen the same person twice. Maybe it is a coincidence, maybe the girls working realize that it's not an okay way to run a business. I also asked for the owners name and number and it would not be given to me. I am beyond done with this place and will let everyone I know getting married to never go here. 25 days until my wedding. No dresses and they were supposed to be put on expedited shipping (after being told they were shipped months ago WHICH WAS A LIE) and be in by 8/19. I called 15 times on Friday and left 2 voicemails as well as my bridesmaids calling and received nothing back. read more

Now that my wedding day has passed, I have time to write about my experience with I Do Boutique. My wedding day was wonderful and I looked amazing but I Do Boutique gave me nothing but aggravation, worry, anxiety, and stress leading up to it. If I had been leaving this review solely based on picking the dress out, it would have been 5 stars. However, everything after that was a nightmare. After ordering my dress, it took them over 6 months to give me any information on when they simply "thought" my dress would even arrive. I say that loosely because depending on the person I spoke to for the day would determine what lie I was told. I constantly gotten the run around with everyone there! Generally, they would state "they didn't have specifics in their system so they needed to call the designer." They always ended the conversation with "we will call you back later today or tomorrow with information" and they would NEVER call back. On top of that, I paid my initial deposit over the phone. I assumed I would receive a receipt/sales contract in the mail but I never did which ended up to be a huge issue later on. After calling every other day, my dress FINALLY arrived 6 months after I ordered it. Well I should've finally been happy but NOPE...the saga continues! The dress came and it was the wrong color! At this point, there was not enough time to reorder it so I came to peace with it and made myself accept the new color. Then during my fitting, I noticed they even ordered the wrong size. I was borderline on 2 different sizes and we discussed in detail which one would be best. Well since they never mailed me a receipt/sale contract, I had no idea what got ordered. Once again, I had to deal with their mistake my dieting and working out just so the dress would fit. They blamed it on an ex-employee handling paperwork. Seems to me like a cop out. Now fast forward to a few weeks out from our wedding. It was dejavu all over again. My veil should've been ordered with my dress and yet, they gave me the exact same runaround as before. There is NO WAY a veil takes 8 months to ship. I'm convinced they blatantly just didn't order it until it was "convenient" to them. After endless phone calls, I finally received a tracking number and received my veil 2 weeks before my wedding. This place is absolutely frustrating. The biggest thing in all of this is they knew I was a very unhappy customer but not once was I given a sincere apology or offered anything for my issues with them. Out of all the money I have spent here, you would think they would take care of their brides. I have multiple friends getting married soon and they are having no issues with their dresses from other places. At one point, the owner stated and I quote "Well you got your stuff, didn't you!?" I originally purchased my dress from Wendy's Bridal early Sept. 2022. It was a very lovely experience and I truly found the dress of my dreams. At this time I was told an 8-10 month wait once the dress was ordered. I was not informed of the impending merger/closing of Wendy's with I Do Bridal. I was not informed of this and was horrified when I found out about the change through a Facebook post. Ok no worries I pay the balance on my dress with I Do and move on. I followed up with them about April (7 months after purchase) and was informed that I would have more information in about a month, ok this is going to plan all is well. Mid/end of May I followed up again, I had to wait for a manager to call me back as I was a Wendy's bride and normal consultants couldn't help me. No big deal. I got a call a few days later stating they had my tracking and the dress would be in early June. Perfect I thought. I did not hear back for 3 week so I tried again. I called over 30 times to reach someone. Left a few voicemails and I followed those up with an email I found on their facebook page. No call backs. FINALLY I get a hold of someone who yet again has to check in with the OWNER to get me an update on my dress. She does call me back the same day saying it would be in the LAST week of June or the first week of July but gives me a number to reach her since I had had communication issues. I am upset but can move on from this not understanding since the last time I spoke with someone they had tracking on my dress but this time they did not. I wait 2 weeks and I check in for her to reply days later and say it is going to be another 2 weeks (this would push us past the max 10 months quoted). I am upset but relent as I am not one for conflict. I inform my husband and he calls the store. Magically the dress can now be overnighted to the store and I get it the next day. I am already upset and now nervous to even get my dress as it took him making noise for them to get my dress faster. I tried on the dress and it feels ok, they also were out of the dress bag I swore I purchased but I am too anxious to say anything. I get home to realize the dress is the wrong size and that is why it doesn't feel like my dress. I have been crying for days. The owner is impossible to reach and honestly feels like a myth of a person at this point. I am hoping they make the sizing right. Until then I will continue to mourn the dress experience I wanted. Thanks I Do bridal for making me feel crummy about the most important dress in a woman's life and ruining this for me. UPDATE: They will not be doing alterations for me to get the sizing correct. Informed my husband that the sales order says the size I was given and that this will be the last time they speak. My husband is an amputee and while on the phone with  the store he fell and they LAUGHED at him. Let that sink in they laughed at an AMPUTEE who fell trying to retrieve information they asked for. Please do not let them humiliate you and ruin your wedding too. read more

after paying extra in advance for them to order the dress immediately and waiting 8 months my wife tried to reach them. on several fail attempts over a period of 2 months. they never returned her calls or messages and when she did get someone they "didn't know" or "needed the ower" well I finally got get up and tell them im gonna call the cops. magically the dress was there in 30 hours. the wrong size but it was "our mistake" when we ordered it. Worst place I've ever been. The owner refuses to speak to anyone the girl working told me she is above customers and won't talk to anyone that's not spending 10k on a dress or more. The try on was great. The rest however horrible. Be warned. They also gaslighted her into ignoring the wrong size when she picked it up and we paid for a dress bag we never got. Horrible. read more

Thank you to "I Do Bridal Boutique". I entered their doors unsure of what I was going to wear as an older bride. I was tended to and treated like the most important bride in the world. The consultant paid attention to what I liked and what I didn't, resulting in me finding a dress I love. They put a hold on it as I was unprepared to purchase the dress that day and am not a resident of Fort Wayne. I have been fortunate to be back into the shop twice since. In both visits, I've been made to feel like family and genuinely feel that the consultants are interested in making me feeling beautiful and special. The shop has worked to make payment possible for me at a time and in a situation that almost prevented me from doing so. I have nothing but positive to say. I know that I will look and feel wonderful on my wedding day in large part because of this special shop and with the help of these wonderful ladies! read more

They wouldn't answer or return my calls, and didn't even confirm my appointment.
