I came to coaching because I wanted to find out what was wrong with me. Kim helped me to see that I need not try to answer that question because there is nothing wrong. Do I have flaws? Yes but who doesn't! Talking over these last few months helped me to appreciate who I am and whose I am! I liked being able to talk through things. I liked the accountability aspect. I was held to a standard of monitoring my time, reminding myself of various points by making sticky notes and posting them, and reading/listening to various things about living out loud. I really loved getting book and audio suggestions! Before coaching I was lost and alone not sure what to do with my life since my parents had both died and my son went off to college. I was asking myself 'what now?'. I wasn't sure what my purpose was anymore because I had no one left to care for. Working with Kim has shown me that I'm more than a mother or a daughter, I am important and I have purpose. She encouraged me to live! Enjoy life and don't apologize for it. As a result I now have better time management, I feel the fear in things and I proceed anyway (this was hard!), and remind myself that I am capable of living out loud. Did I get a relationship out of this? No however, I was able to look at the past and adjust my sails for the future. If You're considering using Kim, do it! This is the coaching session you never knew you needed, but do not want to live without! I am me coaching takes a personalized approach, using therapeutic techniques, to assist you identifying and finding practical solutions to life's concerns. I have participated in group sessions, sister circles and individual sessions and I left each one reevaluating my circumstances, feeling relieved about my accomplishments and with an overall sense of gratefulness. This spring I even organized a group session for my birthday to share with others. It was full of tears, laughter, and support as the coach facilitated hopeful and transparent conversations among friends. Everyone who participated loved it and I knew they would!
