Excellent place to stay and take in Bayeux France. We had the Noble Guesthouse and it was a spacious 2 bedroom place for our family to stay a few days. Everyone had a place to stay, hang out, or get some space. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly - making us feel at home. Their morning breakfast was top notch. The chapel, restaurants, cafe's, and sights are all within walking distance. This is a place that reminds you the history that permeates France with buildings that are hundreds of years old (but don't look shabby) and a friendly atmosphere. If you are planning on exploring Normandie you can base out of here and be within 1-2 hours of everything. read more

This "guesthouse" is way beyond a bed and breakfast. Check out the photo of their entrance. We stayed here as our base for exploring Normandy. It worked perfect. Much of Bayeux was walkable from here, and driving to the American and British beaches was very manageable. You can see the entrance to the museum with the Bayeux Tapestry from their front door. Restaurants we planned to taxi to were walkable. The facility is a several century old mansion, totally renovated by the architect owner who has done everything first class. Our room was huge, everything was new, and everything worked. The staff was outstanding in their efforts to accommodate a couple Americans. Breakfast equaled the facility - in a formal dining room setting and with an extensive selection. Very much enjoyed our stay! Tania was super friendly and was very sweet and accommodating. Loved that we were so centrally located and could quickly walk to our dinner reservations in town and / or meander. The town is small and very busy as it is super cute and loaded with dining establishments. We had a car, but parking there would have likely been difficult. Rooms were clean & beds were fine. Loved the grounds, views and gorgeous pool! We would definitely return. Breakfast (although small) was very tasty (scrambled eggs, hot ham and cheese croissants and diced sausage). Absolutely one of the best places I've stayed. Such a beautiful house! Fabulously decorated. I felt like I stayed at my wealthy best friends millionaire family home but with out any pretension. Our host was friendly and never seemed bothered. You should definitely stay here. read more

This is a beautiful, well-maintained, two-story building set on lush grounds. It is quiet at night and centrally located for easy access to the sights and restaurants that Bayeux has to offer. Mr. Voidie is an excellent host with many suggestions regarding restaurants in Bayeux and little hamlets to visit in Normandy. The rooms are clean and spacious and are fair value. We plan to return. read more
