This was the cheapest option I found when traveling to geneva at the end of may. It was 115 CHF per night which is pretty expensive considering you have a shared bathroom and a very small room. However, it seems like all the hotels im geneva are expensive like this and like I said this was the cheapest I found.
The staff here are very nice and the hotel has an old fashioned look to it. Breakfast is kncluded in the bill and i found it to be good. You get crossaunts and fresh bread along with cheese spread, butter, honey, and jams. You also get yogurt and coffee andorange juice. Everything was always fresh.
You get a free transport card when you check in at the hotel and this allows you to use any and all methods of public transit im geneva (bus, tram, train).
The hotel is situated in the center of geneva. As far as food goes, be prepared to spend about 20 CHF per person per meal if you want to eat at a resturant. There is a very nice huge super market called Manor across the street from the hotel and they sell fresh baked pizza, sandwhiches, roitissery chickens etc (~8 CHF). This is a good way to save money and the food is delicious from this place.
The room was clean and so was the shared bathroom (3 rooms on 1 floor share 1 bathroom).
Also the wifi has good service and they have a wireless router on everyfloor.
Overall I enjoyed staying here for 4 nights. read more
