The town of Avizes has everything - no need to go into Reims. This hotel is great. Not only does it produce one of the best champagnes in the area, the restaurant is spectacular! Chef Stéphane Rossillon is brilliant with the dinners, as well as the breakfast and lunches - you truly don't need to venture outside to have a meal. The rooms are very unique and the set up is very cozy. We had a great tour with Anselme Selosse and was treated to some great vintages..he's very friendly and has a great sense of humor. He definitely takes his time to explain how different this region is compared to so many other regions within Champagne.
