Good value. Located about 2 miles from Avignon center. A bit tricky to find the entrance off the street but they do have a gated lot to park in. Access to the gates lot ends at 2100 so you will need to park in front of the hotel after that. We drove from the hotel to the parking lot at the train station and walked into the historic city center.
Rooms are standard, corporate hotel type. They serve a typical French hotel breakfast, assorted pastries, cereal, juice,coffee/tea, with ham and salami slices also. The restaurant was only open for breakfast and I never saw the bar open. Perhaps the bar is used when a conference is being held at the hotel? Staff was helpful and friendly.
They do have a fairly large pool and conference rooms available. I didn't use either of them so I can't comment further than that.
The hotel was undergoing some renovations while I was here (September 2016). Some mornings you could hear the workers on different floors if they were doing drilling etc.
All in all a good value. I get the feeling that Adonis took over this hotel from another company given the renovations and how few people were staying there. I would stay there again particularly if I had a car as any hotel in the city center is almost impossible to find parking nearby. read more
