I've been seeing him for over two years and I'm impressed by his care. He spends a great amount of time explaining kidney issues with his patients. I am a bit concerned with the staff communication. I've been put on two different medications for my Chronic Kidney Disease. Farxiga and Jardiance. In both cases the medicines are very expensive. I required a pre-certification from my insurance (Aetna). Originally I received three weeks of samples of Jardiance after Farxiga did not agree with me. (causing severe pain in my back and groin pain). The staff was extremely stagnant on obtaining the pre-cert. it took me over 2 weeks and numerous calls to the pharmacy, Aetna and the doctors office. Ryan finally took care of this. After final approval for Jardiance it was creating blood in my stool and have been light headed. I've discontinued the use of both these medications. I also tried to make an appointment after the original prescription for Jardiance for a year out as per the doctors instructions. The receptionist informed me "their system doesn't allow them to schedule that far out" I should call back in January of 2026". I found that odd. I believe they may be understaffed, therefore causing some internal issues. I do have concern with one of the staffs performance. I don't know her name. Two weeks trying to get approval and having the paperwork done properly (pre-cert). Thanks to Ryan the process was finally handled quickly. Although I highly recommend the doctor himself there needs to be some updates to their systems and the staff members trainings. If in the hospital and Dr. Vernace is there you are in great hands!

I was waiting to check out for a long period of time and there was a gentleman waiting to check in behind me. I asked the two girls in the office space (not knowing that they were with a different office) if they knew how much longer it would be until the girl came to schedule my mom's appts- the one woman that works there didn't even turn around and said "she must be in a room with a patient or something so you'll just have to wait" then she must've seen the girl and shouts out "you have someone at the window who is impaaaa.....(assuming she was going to say impatient) who is ready to Check out". It was very clear from the beginning that she was bothered by me asking her how much longer it would be. I said to her "that was very professional" and she had some snarky rebuttal. I said "I'm sorry to have interrupted your Facebook conversation" as she was having a loud conversation with another coworker of how she unfriended a guy who is stalking her on Facebook. She proceeded to turn to me - arms opened up and shouts "do you see me on Facebook". And Then told me that we aren't even their patient, that it was a different Drs office sharing space. It only got worse from there... As I told her I work in a medical office and know how a front desk should run. She could've easily said to me from the beginning that she wasn't sure how much longer the girl would be as they are in a different office. Instead she was rude from the very second I asked if she knew how much longer it would be. The gentleman behind me was a new patient for their office (not the dr that my mother saw) and he was appalled by this woman's behavior. As I stated earlier he was standing behind me to check in while is was waiting to check out. Not one person in their office asked him who he was checking in for. He was new and didn't know which window to go to. There was a waiting room full of people witness to this woman's behavior. It doesn't matter if we were a patient of your office or the other physician that you share an office space with - the woman (Cathy) at the Nephrology And Hypertension Associates was rude and unprofessional. She is a poor representation of your practice.

Always hard to review a medical team on the first visit but here I go…read more My daughter is here on a referral and I was totally stunned to find a front office staff that smiled while working with us on the paperwork. I am so used to being 'put in my place' by unfriendly types at medical offices' front desks. These ladies smile and laugh among themselves when not helping patients. The waiting area is very clean and set up in a professional manner. There are photo'd of each doctor on display along with a copy of their med school degree. TV is there for patients but it isn't overwhelming. A water cooler is available to refresh dry throats. And, now we await the medical consult ...

I have seen Dr. Finkelstein and Dr. Bassi in times of emergency when Dr. Bialy has been out. The entire practice communicates very well and works together very well. I've never felt a disconnect in care when Dr. Bialy is not around, because both Dr. Finkelstein and Dr. Bassi are up to speed on my case. Last year, I had some major medical issues and spoke with Dr. Finkelstein, because Dr. Bialy was out of the country. Dr. Finkelstein actually called me several times and once simply to check on me, so that he could text Dr. Bialy overseas to let her know how I was doing. Although, I hope you don't need to be followed by a nephrologist. But, if you do, I highly recommend Princeton Hypertension-Nephrology Associates.

As a result he transferred all health care to Temple Hospital, Hahnemann being owned by Tenet Healthcare is only interested in 1 thing $$$$$$$ nothing but $$$$$$$ stay away unless you want the same
