New location windows completely covered with brown paper and a sign out front saying "this location is permanently closed." There was a door slightly ajar and what looked like people and possibly equipment inside, though I did not get a good look. I pulled the door partially open to go inside and had to let go because of a phone call. It looked like some people saw me. Took a few minutes to end the call, and during that time, I heard someone come up from the inside and close and lock the door. I called their phone number and no answer. Closed business? Moving? Just unfriendly? No idea, but it seems not to be a place to go. Save yourself some time and go elsewhere.

If you are looking for a space where you can go in and out quickly this is a spot for you. I've never had to wait for a machine. They have all of the essentials for lifting cardio machines and sometimes there's a cute puppy or two. Lots of well seasoned lifters here as well as newbies. Great vibe and place!

(As of today 8/5/26, and for the past week) I went 5 days is a row, and not one bathroom was fixed. There were clots of black hair in the showers day after day. Ew. The same clots of hair. No one cleans this place! Weights are all over the place, there are two workout mats in the whole gym (I asked where there where more and the guy at the front desk said "That's all we have." Really? Two mats and a whole empty mat storage shelf?). Mirrors are dirty day after day, and there are towels and tissue paper are on the floor. Gross. If they're having trouble hiring a cleaning crew, they need to pay more. My regular 24 hour Fitness is packed at 7:00 am; this place was empty, probably because it's a gross place to work out. Go to the Mountain View 24 Hour Fitness, it's clean, weights are organized, and you can actually use the bathroom.

The…read moreequipment is top-tier and always maintained so well, the atmosphere is amazing, and it somehow never feels overcrowded even during busy hours. The men's locker room and showers are always spotless, which says a lot about how much care the owner/staff put into the gym. Even the music and overall vibe are perfect, it's one of the only gyms where I don't even feel the need to wear earbuds because the environment itself motivates me to train harder. You can really tell this gym was built with passion and pride, and that's rare nowadays. It became part of my routine and honestly one of my favorite places to decompress after long work days. I've recommended it to friends and always spoke highly of it because it truly stands out from the typical commercial gyms.

My year comes up and I get charged again for the month after so I go in again to ask about it, why hasn't this been cancelled already? They made me sign another paper to "officially" cancel and now I'm getting charged for another bloody month when they specifically said I wouldn't be. Horrible customer service, in my opinion.

You all agreed that my gym membership was incorrectly cancelled in 2024 and I have been charged over 16 MONTHS WITHOUT AN INVOICE (more than $1200 in total). I even considered a lower settlement amount since you all pleaded about being a non-corporate, SMB gym. But now you all have now taken to hiding, screening my calls and avoiding payment rather than be a professional outfit. I am extremely disappointed with this behavior and the standards you set. Folks - for anyone considering TWR please note that their cancellation policy is a bit of a joke and resolution processes for incorrect billing and cancellations are basically treated as an exercise to induce fatigue. I have been to the gym in person multiple times to speak to ALL their partners and they decide to rip me off after leading me around in circles since 5 months now. Happy to post more details/ screenshots for interested viewers.

What really impressed me is how intentional they are about matching you with the right coach -- not just someone with credentials, but someone who fits your goals, your energy, and how you like to be coached. If you're feeling stuck in your fitness routine or you want something way more personalized than the usual gym setup, I highly recommend checking this place out. It's focused, professional, and honestly one of the best decisions I've made for my health in a long time.

During a recent incident, a white woman with red hair wearing a long dress entered the women's locker room and was reportedly startled to encounter a man inside. Whatever one's views on locker room policies, it was clear that she was upset and seeking reassurance regarding her safety and privacy concerns. Rather than the situation being calmly addressed, it reportedly escalated. A Hispanic man covered in tattoos allegedly confronted the woman and told her to "suck his cock." The exchange became heated, front-desk staff appeared unable to effectively restore order or provide the woman with a sense of security, and the situation ultimately escalated to the point that police were called. What concerned me most was not simply the disagreement itself, but the apparent inability of staff to de-escalate the conflict and ensure that a member who felt frightened or vulnerable was supported. Regardless of anyone's position on policy issues, no customer should leave a gym feeling threatened, intimidated, or abandoned during a dispute. I would strongly encourage Planet Fitness corporate leadership to review this incident, reach out to the woman involved, and evaluate whether additional staff training, security procedures, and member-support protocols are needed. Members should have confidence that safety concerns will be taken seriously and handled professionally. I would also encourage Planet Fitness to consider offering at least some women-only facilities, women-only workout areas, or designated women-only locations among its many gyms. Providing additional options could help accommodate members with differing comfort levels and reduce the likelihood of similar conflicts in the future. I am posting this publicly because I could not locate a working email address or clear reporting channel to bring these concerns directly to company leadership. I hope Planet Fitness will provide more accessible ways for members and community members to report serious safety concerns and receive a meaningful response.

I've stayed with Planet Fitness for the last six month because I really like it! No gym is perfect, but here's my take on it. The Good: 1. The team that runs it is fabulous! They're a polite, helpful, positive group. 2. The facilities are clean and well taken care off. All the equipment looks new. I haven't seen a single piece of broken equipment. The team is constantly cleaning, and it shows. 3. It's a nice vibe. People always wipe down equipment after they're done. I didn't see that much when I was at 24 Hour Fitness or the Bay Club. 4. The dues are dirt cheap. $30 a month includes the Black Card amenities like massage beds. That said, here's the Bad: 1. No pool or sauna - That's fine for me, but if you like those then this gym isn't for you. 2. No group classes - Not my thing, so I didn't care. 3. No lounge - The place is optimized to get you in, get a workout, and leave. There's no area to socialize or get work done like the Bay Club has. I do miss that. 4. It's small - It's really, really small. Sometimes I do have to wait a couple of minutes for a stair climber (they only have four), and the area around the free weights is pretty packed most of the time. If you're ok with those four things, this is a great gym--nice people, new equipment, clean facilities, and a great price. I highly recommend.

Equipment: If stuff isn't broken or bent, it just isn't there. I've seen gyms with half the space have more kilos and power bars available. Not to mention they have an entire area dedicated to machines that look like they only get used when the cleaners dust them off. I heard the owners have been promising more stuff, but nothing's come except a small ah set of plates. Facilities: Bathroom was straight up vile with a busted toilet seat. Floors are legit slimy, and I saw maybe two people tops wipe off their equipment. I asked some of the other members if the gym ever brings in a maintenance crew to clean the place down, but they told me the cleaning is done by like a family and kids LMAO Management: Day-to-day is run by this dude named Jostin (Justin?), but outside of my first visit I barely saw the man. Bro is either not at the gym or locked up in the back office. Only time I remember seeing him was when his doordash arrived. The other owners are barely in too, and I heard the main dude isn't even in state anymore??? Cost: Game time. Based on what I've said, guess how much they ask for a month.
