There was also a music class that morning and I asked if my son and I could check it out- we did and we loved it- wished we lived closer to sign him up for him but love they have special events throughout the year. I am a first time parent and jenny(the music teacher) was so helpful in showing me how to use music to bond with my son. After we went and played in their infant play area. My 5 yr old has attended R&R since September when we moved out to the area temporarily. This gym is…read moreamazing, and Sidney and Dave are amazing with the kids. My son loved going, he had a ton of fun. The class size was small, great precautions were taken with cleaning and sanitizing. I also appreciated that even in a class for 5-7 year olds, they learned a lot of technical skills for gymnastics; I was even able to help build some of those skills by recreating some of the exercises at our local playground. We also loved the open gym nights where a limited number of kids could come and hang out. We went for Halloween and it was a blast. Great communication on hours and schedule changes. I'm sad that we're leaving this gym as we are moving away from the area, but I highly recommend their youth program.

But Im SOOOO Glad that we went... First off the parking is weird & far away, but at least glad there is ample parking... The park is enclosed & this is a HUGE plus coming from the mother of a very curious little boy who wants to run all around at times... I am not worried that he has wandered off (I dont usually let him out of my sight for 1 sec, but still the gate is good) The sand box might have been the biggest "OOHHH" moment for me, there must have been 754 Dump Trucks & other little sand things & I asked my gf rather excitedly "Do these come with the park", because as I had noted earlier my son tends to be very curious and will almost climb into or onto other peoples strollers/bikes, so these being the parks toys was super exciting, he could play & I wouldnt have to continually tell him NO & keep apologizing to other parents... The climby, slide thingy (what are those called anyway) was rather large & there were several things that could be climbed up & down & ran across with several slides on it... I even climbed up there... The sprinkler pad was not on when we went - they close at 4 on Saturdays (will keep in mind for next time) There are picnic tables & benches all around & there are basketball courts AND A PORT-A-POTTY!!! How cool is that, not that I would use it but the conveinence is still pretty cool! I will def be back soon (prolly this Sat)...

Called because it was over a week and I hadn't received a call that my item was ready for pick up,…read morebut my friend who painted with me got a text days before that hers was ready. I reached out to the studio and they told me my item was there... not sure what or how they were planning to get in contact with me. At the visit I left my name, my number, a description of my item and noted I painted my initials on the bottom of the item - wrote all of this down on the little scrap paper they gave me to write my info. I'm guessing they lost it.... I go to try and pick up my item today, sign says closed 7/18... it's 7/17, no mention on the phone when I called yesterday or on their social media page(s) that they would be closed due. Frustrating to say the least. Items available to paint upon arriving for the visit were sparse so overall, all of these things combined, it was not worth the hassle.

Have been to Ward Park several times in the Spring with the BFF who lives in Marlboro... Today for the first time, we visited the Pool - She had been talking about it all spring & I was very weary - but actually had a GREAT time... First off its a 2ft Wading Pool - so dont show up expecting to do HandStands & Dives (Unless of course you are vertically challenged)... The baby was unsure at first (hes never really been in a pool now that he is aware of the world), but I got in & laid down with him & we had a blast... It was busy but not soo much that we were bothered... There were some lifeguards there that do make you feel safe, there is a restroom which is also convenient... It was a good time, I would definitely recommend if you have smaller children & dont want to deal with bigger kids pushing & splashing... However it was also my first time, I might have just picked a good day - who knows what next weekend will bring (Ill update)!
