    DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! Our heat and hot water…read morestopped working and I booked an appointment with Aire Serv through Handy via an alert from our Google Nest thermostats. The first Aire Serv HVAC tech that came said that the water pressure sensor in our water heater was broken and needed to be replaced. He gave us a rough VERBAL ONLY estimate of $2500 to have it replaced and gave us no guarantee about when they would be able to do it. Just said that it was based on the manufacturer. However, the HVAC tech recommended a water heater tech from Aire Serv to come take a look as well, as he would have a clearer assessment & estimate. The water heater tech looked at the water heater and said that our unit was from 2011 and over 10 years old (it's not, it was built in 2017 which can easily be seen on the inside of the unit). He came to the conclusion that the entire unit needed to be replaced, along with some other pipes that needed replacing. He went on to tell us a few estimate options that ranged from $11,000-$13,000. Yes that's THOUSANDS. When we asked to see a quote with full itemization, including the cost to us of every part needed and cost of labor, they refused to provide us with it claiming that if they give the cost of each item, it gets too messy. He also claimed that we had to decide and book on the spot, not giving us any time to think or talk about it. We made the smart decision to forego making an appointment to instead find other opinions, realizing that this estimate was an astronomical price. When the tech left, he said he would email the estimates shortly. Several hours later, we still had not received the estimates. I called the office to get an update on when we would receive the estimates and I was told the tech was still on jobs and wouldn't get it out until tonight or tomorrow. When I said that I wanted the estimates so that we could seek second opinions, all of a sudden the company apparently is able to price match lower prices. We finally received an email with the estimates at 8 pm and once again, all three estimates (based on different priced water heaters) only had a total cost. There was no cost of labor, no cost of parts, no tax, nothing. Simply one total number which gives zero information to the customer about what you are actually paying THIRTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS for. The next day, we got a different company to come look at our water heater. Their tech said our unit was DEFINITELY less than 10 years old, it DID NOT need to be replaced, and he was able to get the new water pressure sensor within 5 minutes. He did all of this for $300. JUST THREE HUNDED DOLLARS. He said besides the water pressure sensor, there was nothing wrong with the unit itself. This tech was also appalled at the way these bigger companies try to take advantage of people. I would never ever recommend using Aire Serv to anyone. They only care about their bottom line and do not care at all about their customers as human beings. It's absolutely appalling and disgusting the way that this company misrepresents their costs by refusing to be transparent and itemize their estimates. Please do not ever use this company. They all should be ashamed of themselves for treating fellow humans this way. (The photo shows the estimates we were sent. I have only cropped out my own personal information. There is no itemization or list of costs, just one astronomical total cost.)

    Moved into a house that the previous owner installed a brand new hvac system. Unit was purchased…read morefrom Home Depot and was top of the line. I started to have issues with the unit and called the original contractor that installed it and was told 3 weeks. Since I was a first time home buyer I didn't realize that if you don't move the warranty over in 90 days you lose the warranty. Celco to the rescue........ Called and spoke to Lisa. I asked a lot of questions because I don't know anything about home improvement and she was patient and answer. She then engaged Trane to help me and try to get the warranty extended. They dispatched a repair man named Brian. He came to my home and within 5 second on call points out the line that was welded incorrectly. 2 hours later and my unit is fixed...... It would be enough if the story ended there but...... Lisa helped me engage home depot who is working with me to get refunded for this irresponsible contractor that installed the unit. Moral of the story: You want honest and fair contractors that can explain to the home owner illiterate then this is the person for your.

    No accountability for their mistakes…read more They arrived and their truck accidentally ripped all the cable and phone wires off my house, tore the mounting bracket clean out of the shingles, I had wires hanging from the pole on the street to the lawn still partially attached to the house, but hanging low across the driveway for days. Celco just left and said good luck. I had no Internet for a few days, spent hours on the phone with both frontier and optimum to come clear the wires off my property and free up my driveway. The tech who did it was very apologetic and I tried to be cool about it, mistakes happen, but when I tried to get the company to take some ownership of this, they showed their true colors. After two heated phone calls and them denying any need to address this at all, they grudgingly offered me $75 for the time and damage. This was just a fraction of what they charged me and not at all proportional to the damage and effort required to remedy their mistake, which they admitted to.

    Tyler Air Conditioning of Stratford is the best company for your job. My family is forever grateful…read moreto them and their generosity. Everyone member working there is caring and generous. This year, my wife and I were blessed with twins. This also means our expenses caring for a little own are multiplied. While facing a financial hardship, our furnace started leaking dangerous levels of carbon monoxide and we needed a replacement. We couldn't afford the cost of a new own and care for our babies equally. With temperatures on the decline, it was imperative that we replaced it as soon as possible. When Tyler Air Conditioning heard our story, they offered to help. During an extremely difficult and stressful time, they offered to donate their time to help offset the cost of a new furnace. Within a few weeks, a new boiler was installed. We now have heat at night, our babies are thriving, and we are living with less stress. The entire staff on board truly amazing people. They were all willing to help a local family in need and I will always support them. I want to especially thank Donny, Vinny, Fred, and Jennifer for going above and beyond. They are extremely responsive, hardworking and so fantastic job. I highly recommend them to you all and couldn't have asked for a better group of people to help us.

    Technician came Oct 2024 to do preventative maintenance on HVAC system. Report stated "Control…read moreboard and furnace wiring look clean with no signs of wear and tear...at this time no issues are seen and no recommendations to make" Now I'm trying to sell condo and inspector mentions wiring is not to code. I contacted Tyler for a 2nd opinion and based on a photo I forwarded from the inspector, they have stated that rewiring is needed at a cost of $500-$750. Why didn't the technician determine this four months ago when he came IN PERSON?? I would give zero stars if I could based on this complete incompetence.
