Whilst I was waiting, her husband and I had a convivial conversation whilst viewing the extensive range of frames. Again,this was conducted in a friendly but professional manner. Also it proved positive as I found a frame that I liked. Gabriella's examination was extremely thorough and I must say it rates as the best eye test that i've ever had. This came to prove that within 2 weeks I was and indeed still am, wearing my new glasses which I must say. Are like watching TV in HD vision. Impressed ? Totally.

The prices here are comparable to the cheapest opticians (e.g. Boots), however they have the range and designs of the more expensive places. Be wary of them adding on lots of extras (thin lenses, extra thin lenses, with anti scratch, etc) which can make the final costs more than you expect, but otherwise I had stellar service from this place (much better than the Specsavers in Victoria). Also, Boots in Richmond has cheaper eye tests.

The lovely Indian couple who run the shop were extremely understanding and helpful - I kept returning with various friends before I finally settled on a style of frame and booked my appointment (I am sure you are supposed to have your prescription ready when you start looking for glasses ). I was extremely impressed that they remembered my name and very embarrassed that I don't remember theirs. I felt in good hands and pleased that I wasn't rushed through the examination.
