In all, we got almost all the plants we wanted to fill our beds, as well as some flowers - they had a great selection of spring flowers, both in potted arrangements and others to plant in your yard. The owners are fantastic! They're knowledgeable about gardening. The husband, Jason, is a horticulturalist, and knows his stuff. I'm so glad I found this place - it's always more of an impact to support local!

This is off the highway on the way to the airport. There is a large parking lot, and the greenhouse is huge! I went in for one thing & walked out with more than 10. I hand-build tiny, tiny ceramic pots, so I'm always looking for tiny plants to put in them. Straders has only a small selection of these pots & they are $6-15 depending on plant. DeMonye's had 10x the variety of what I usually find at Straders, and they were $4.49!! I did a little dance. You can find annuals, perennials, indoor plants, bulbs, seeds, soil, garden decor, pots, you name it! I also found flowers and berry plants for my garden. So stop in very soon if you want to go one more time. We've been coming here for a decade, they've been here for almost a century. It's very handy for us, and usually had most of what we need. Service was great, prices were decent. And convenience has a quality of its own. Now where will we go? Next closest place is probably Oakland, which is fine but at least 15 minutes away.

In two days the flowers were dead and i just wasn't happy with them especially for the amount i paid, so i called to to see what they can do about a refund and they gave me a 50% refund which is fine but i tried to tell them that that should probably take better care of their flowers and mid sentence the guy just hung up on me. Definitely better off just going to Kroger and buying $12 flowers than spending $70 at this place. I'm definitely that crazy plant lady and have been for quite a while. This shop is in downtown Lancaster just around the corner from Main St. It has giant windows in the front and street parking, which I found easily. I absolutely love their aesthetic and how they make the plants front and center. They have a ton of indoor plants and succulents and even rare plants that I can't find at a typical nursery. They also source a lot of beautiful pottery from all around Ohio. Some are even made close to my hometown of Zanesville. I love how they support other creatives. The shop manager was super informative and friendly and the owners are just as special. I'm excited to see them expanding into smaller communities and Lancaster is really lucky to have them. Last week I pulled in 6 minutes before they closed and I knew exactly what I needed so it was going to be a fast trip. I get my baby out of the car seat, grab my purse and start walking in, and this guy closes the doors after he sees me. Doesn't say anything looks at me and closes the door. The most unprofessional thing I've ever seen. Especially since we made eye contact. So I left and went to another greenhouse in Lancaster. I just don't feel like I can support this business anymore.

Stop being so hateful and focus your negative and butt-hurt energy elsewhere. Do something positive instead of being part of the problem.
