While this may not entirely be the fault of the La Jolla location, and partly due to a mistakeon the part of the NP that scheduled me for my iron infusion, I arrived today at 9am for my appointment that had been scheduled for at least a week only to receive a text at 8:58am notifying me that this location doesn't do iron infusions. No real remorse, accountability, or empathy on behalf of the staff for my wasted time or energy or any effort to correct their mistake. Perhaps they should review their appointments beforehand. Thankfully, I was able to make an appointment with the Encinitas location for later today. read more

The service was AMAZING. This was my FIRST TIME trying IV therapy. I am happy we came here. I personally get blood drawn from the veins in my hands. This is tricky for the drip to flow but if you get it in the right place and don't move, it flows perfectly. Tucked away in the small businesses along Girard, this small wellness studio is definitely a stand out La Jolla gem. They offer the tried and true IVs + injections but also offer an array of newly emerging cocktail of vitamins and treatments-- including NAD. The studio itself was clean, aesthetically pleasing, and efficient. The staff was knowledgeable and quick to accommodate walk-ins. I had to bring my two kids in because I was out running errands and the nurse was quick and very understanding. I've never done vitamin therapy beforehand I've always wanted to give it a try. I went online and was able to get a next day early morning appointment for a skinny shot. I was in and out the paperwork was quick and I had no pain. I'm very impressed. The place was really pretty too. The nurse was able to answer all my questions in record speed. Nestled amongst various shops and cafes, it's the perfect place to go shopping, grab a smoothie, and get an IV. As an incentive, first-time customers get a free B-12 shot. I've had a good experience thus far with the exception of a couple times when the nurses had handled the needles and tube oddly by wrapping the bandage while the tube was stuck in my vein, then taking it out which left a bruise for a week. And when the nurse proceeded with the IV, there was this weird uncomfortable cooling sensation which signaled it had been inserted wrong in my vein. The staff was great, especially Brittany, the chairs were comfortable and my friend and I felt like we had privacy to chit chat amongst ourselves.
