Ever since i signed up to the page, i received lots of scammer calls, random emails, and random text messages. the owner promised me that i will receive information about his aromatherapy classes and so on. It's been almost 3 weeks and I never got a single email and his classes. I checked my email history and there's no "the living temple" in any of my emails. Usually, there's a "welcome email" when you sign up to something right? I didn't get any. No class and lectures. Nothing. he definitely sold my information. i know this 10000% because I haven't signed up for anything in the past few days before I came in and the few days after I came in. I never received scammer calls, texts, or emails until after I visited this place. I really liked this place too. I love the aromatherapy and smell here but I am going to avoid this place from now on. Beautiful products but HORRIBLE ethics and morals.

It's a small place - and street parking can be tricky. But I was fortunate to get a spot right out front. I stepped inside and saw the various containers of products and was pleased. Not only were there things that I use every day, but the prices were ridiculously affordable. Isela (theeee sweetest person) gave me a brief, but thorough "tour" that was absolutely fascinating. She answered any and all of my questions and provided me with a few donated containers for my purchase. So far, the star of this visit are the scented lotion and hand wash. Can't recall the name. But they are pricier than the other products. I don't care at all. I LOVE the scent. As a matter of fact, I'm going in this weekend for some more of the hand soap. I have it in my bathroom (foaming pump) and my kitchen (regular hand soap pump). I also diluted it to use as a shower gel. YES, doggone it!!! I'm kinda addicted! This is one of those places that you should actually do a personal field trip to. It will change your life. Believe it. Highly, highly recommended! UPDATE: I went back in for more hand soap concentrate and some retinol serum. By the way, soap and lotion brand name is "Further". Alyssa assisted me and she is an absolute DOLL. And I met her husband and best friend, who happened to be in the store. Simply delightful. I think this is going to be another one of my "happy" places.

I've been coming here for 15 years and I've never had a problem. I think people need to calm down and think about their own attitudes before they talk bad about this Pharmacy . When Su finished ringing up a gentleman, she walked away from the counter to talk to the other employee without acknowledging me. I was completely ignored until I said excuse me to get their attention. Su continued to talk to the other employee until she rudely looked over at me and said "what's up?" Not a smile, not a "hi, how can I help you?" I told her I needed to drop off a FedEx package and she said "okkkaayyy it's right over there" extending her arm and pointing to the section I was just waiting at for 5 minutes previously. I told her there was no one there to help me and she patronizingly told me someone would be right over. She was incredibly condescending and belittling in the way she spoke to me, I'm actually shocked and have never been treated like that as a patron who visits this establishment and pharmacy frequently. The other employee who finished assisting me was also cold and dismissive. I worked in customer service for over 15 years and have never ignored or flippantly addressed a customer with "what's up" when they ask for help. Your employees as well as your manager need better training on how to be a little kinder and more apologetic when you know customers have been waiting awhile and need assistance. Please do better going forward.

ZERO STARS. Awful, complete and total NIGHTMARE! 1. Every…read moretime I went to pick up my prescription, there was a huge line, and there is NEVER enough staff to actually handle the number of customers. The staff that IS there seems completely un-rushed and un-bothered by the fact that people are standing in line for 30+ minutes. It's like they are all purposely moving extra slow. The drive-thru ALWAYS seems to take priority for some reason, so even if I've been waiting forever, if a car drives up, they'll go to the car first. 2. One time I went at midnight to try to avoid a line. I was happy to see that there was no one there. Literally AS I WALKED UP, the lady behind the counter put up a sign saying "Back in 15 minutes." No joke, she didn't put it up UNTIL SHE SAW ME. I was the ONLY person, so would it have killed her to help me out before taking the break? I left and returned about 20 minutes later - the sign was STILL UP (even though the 15 minutes had passed). I saw one employee counting/scanning prescriptions and not acknowledging me at all. I waited 10 more minutes (30 minutes total - TWICE as long as the sign said) and then I walked up to the window and said (politely) "Ma'am, it's been half an hour already..." She literally ignored me and said nothing. Didn't even turn around. 5 more minutes and another employee finally sauntered in at the speed of snail. 3. You get different answers and different "rules" depending on which pharmacist/employee you speak to. I have Medi-Cal, but the prescription I was picking up was from a NON-Medi-Cal doctor. I was paying for this doctor totally out of pocket. I was told the medication she prescribed is not covered by Medi-Cal. I explained my doctor isn't a Medi-Cal doctor and I don't want to use my Medi-Cal insurance to pay for the prescription - I'll just pay the $10 cash. The first two months they seemed to understand this and everything was fine. I paid cash and got my medication. Then the third month or so, they told me I am not ALLOWED to pay cash, I MUST use Medi-Cal, but since Medi-Cal doesn't cover this medication, there is nothing I can do. They literally told me this. I can't use my insurance because they don't cover it, butI'm also not allowed to pay cash. The pharmacist who told me this was rude and gave no other options. I called back the next day and talked to someone else, and THAT PERSON put it through for me and I paid cash and picked it up! WTF!!! Then month 4 same story about me not being able to use insurance OR pay cash - "Sorry, you just can't pick it up." I finally switched to Costco and they had ZERO issues with me paying cash despite being a Medi-Cal patient. After switching my prescription to Costco, I called and made a complaint to Walgreens. The lady was very nice and said sympathized - said she had no idea what was going on and why they would tell me what they did, despite me having picked it up multiple times before. She said someone would call me back. They never did. There's so many pharmacies - trust me, go ANYWHERE BUT HERE. Rude, slow, long lines, confusing nonsensical rules that only get followed by certain employees. Total headache. (Plus this location always has very un-savory looking characters hanging around in the front.)
