I went in and got services and after the whole ordeal was over I was charged a lot more than expected and in fact I was charged $700 over the SF CA Price for the same service ( Meaning I was Gouged being i am not from OK) so I did not find this out until after and thinking i was getting work I thought i needed, I actually did not. I went to a shop 2 x after this location and 1 x before and each of the 3 shops proved there were no codes. This means I was lied to, and I got unnecessary work done. I reported this to the AAA and to the BAR and I will also attach the proof of the over charge from Oklahoma compared to the CA estimate. Although a Service was done with Smiles, I was still pretty much overcharged, paying $1093.00 plus some change.

BEWARE RIP OFFED, AND GOUGED. My trip from arizona to arkansas. I was on my trip home knowing I had…read morea bad battery, or alternator. I was just about 4 miles into Texas, and my car lost power, and was stranded on the highway. I called for a tow, and was towed into the nearest town to an Oriely's autostore. I had a warranty with the battery, so I had it checked, and replaced. He then checked my alternator hooked up his machine, and in 3 minutes said that my alternator was bad, and needed replacement. I didn't want to spend the night{ it was a sunday about 4pm.] So should've there but.... I made it into Oklahoma, and wouldn't you know it the car lost power, and I was coasting. After almost getting drilled getting off the highway by a Mack truck [ the exit was on the left hand side, I managed to coast to a church. I called aaa, and had my first experience with jg towing [are they still called jg towing?] After 3 hours they showed up. My car started and I drove it upon the truck. The driver recommended me to have it towed to his shop, and I said no just tow me to a motel. After getting to the motel the driver said his shop was walking distance, and his shop would diagnose the problem. I told him what The Orielys man said it was the alternator. Against my better judgement I let him take it over for a look, and they would call me in the morning. After waiting all morning I decided to walk over and see for myself. When I got there I was told it was the alternator, and they would replace it. I was going to go over to Orilley's , and just put another battery in and leave. I told the gal no I'm just going to leave. Then a little boy in a tie jumps up from a desk and says ok, but it's going to be 185.00 dollar charge for diagnoses. I asked why he said because it took the technician over an hour to check it. I laughed, and said the auto store hooked up their machine and in 3 minutes knew the problem. He then lied to my face, and said the car had to be jumped started in the morning. I called him a liar and said the car started last night after being down for 3 hours. Being stuck I said just do it. I went back to the hotel, and the clerk asked me how did it go? I told her and she said uh oh you shouldn't have called little man a liar. I asked why? she said she's known locals who've complained about the price, or service and after 20 minutes of leaving the shop something else went wrong with their vehicles. I said great. Again no call from the shop around 4pm, I decided to walk back to see. Yep the car is finished sir come right here and we'll handle the bill. I also had a warranty on my alternator so I was thinking maybe 200.00 dollars tops. Nope 630.00 dollars to get my car out of jg repairs and towing JAIL. If you beak down in elk city ok. BEWARE OF jg rip off and towing!! OH yeah, the tow truck driver and the office girls were as sweet as pie 5 stars for them. I'm calling the bbb, and the local news station after this post. They've probably changed their name by now those shisters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I contacted JH Mobile Mechanic aka Joshua Hodge, about my vehicle making a screeching noise…read morewhenever I turned the wheel. Initially, he was very polite and responsive. He informed me of a $50 diagnostic fee, which I agreed to. He came over and, after spending about 15-20 minutes inspecting the vehicle, determined that I needed a strut and coil spring assembly costing $200 and a chassis stabilizer bar kit costing $50. He advised me to purchase these parts from O'Reilly's, where he is registered as a mechanic and earns points for purchases. I agreed, as long as he fixed my car. He then charged me $200 for labor and took 30 minutes to install the parts. He also advised me to add power steering fluid, which I did. After supposedly fixing my car, he assured me, "Your vehicle should ride just like a Cadillac now." However, the noise persisted. I reached out to him via Facebook, but he did not respond immediately. I sent another message asking if I had been misled, and he assured me I was not. He promised to check the vehicle again when he returned to town. After a week, I noticed he was online and sent another message, but now he is ignoring me. (*Edit)He then responded after he saw my initial review in which I deleted and said he would come over the next day to check it out and test drive it to figure out what was wrong. I thought the diagnostic I had already paid you for was supposed to determine that? A day led to about 4-5 days and when he finally came and didn't even test drive it, he was just doing a process of elimination on my dime. He determined it was the pump now which is another $200 plus $100 for labor and I guess that's somehow a deal, but I agreed and he said he'd be over the next morning. He messaged me that next morning and said he be over but never showed up. I sent him a message that night and he replied the next morning saying something had come up and that he'd be over the next morning. He messaged me the next morning and said he'd be over within a few hours, then about 4 hours went by and he messaged me and said he was almost finished with his current job and would be over right after. About 2 or 3 hours goes by and he messaged saying he had to stop by his house first to feed or let the dogs out and he'd be heading right over. 4 or 5 hours go by and I then messaged him in frustration because I had been at home waiting for him this entire time. He then proceeds to tell me his car had been screeching and that his truck broke down and that he couldn't make it. He told me whenever he figured it out he'd reach back out to me. 3 or 4 days later I see him on Facebook posting a picture of his truck showing him going out to work. I still haven't received any message or anything. He's done nothing but waste my time and money, while making me believe he was a man of his word. At this point I'd rather pay a professional to do the job, that way it gets done properly and timely. This mechanic ripped me off and became unresponsive after receiving my money and failed to make things right. He is not a man of his word and is not someone you want to do business with. I strongly advise others to avoid this mechanic. P.S. Don't bother responding to me when you see this rating!!!!
