Hyatt Place Alaa, Matt, Eathen and Amber you are all assets to this establishment, I'm glad we met. My room was clean, comfy, and nicely decorated and larger than normal. If you were going to park your car, they have a garage that's not attached and it's $25 a night. Breakfast was better than normal. I WOULD RECOMMEND

*** A value spot to stay while in Boulder ... *** It is located 1-2mi from wherever you wanna go ... Pearl St Promenade, dntn station, CU campus, et al. Room is clean and pretty spacious. Bfast daily and a next door spot serves food and drinks until 10-11pm. Pool, hot tub, free weights, and a few treadmills also. *** Reasonably priced, good WiFi and comfy bed. ***

We had a great stay, hotel was clean, great views, short Uber ride to Pearl Street mall. Great beer selection at the bar, also restaurant directly behind the hotel was stellar.

Stayed here for 2 nights during my trip. I only picked this hotel since my friend's apartment was right across the street. The location is ok but I don't think it is very walkable to a lot of places. But a lot of things are within a short drive. I would stay here again.

Someone's old underwear left in room. Nobody bothered to clean up there I guess(in closet)

The rooms are very ordinary, not as they appear when you are booking. It's also in a great location--very close to the University of Colorado Boulder and walkable to a lot of shops and restaurants. The lobby is definitely the highlight--absolutely beautiful with intricate details, a vintage glass ceiling, and a grand, elegant feel that gives you a sense of the building's history. Our room was clean, and the bathroom was also well-maintained. The surrounding area felt safe, which we appreciated. That said, the room itself was a bit dark, which seems pretty typical for many American hotels. The biggest downside for us was the required valet parking. It meant we never really had easy access to our car unless we wanted to go through the hassle of requesting it every time. Because of that, we ended up just using Uber the whole stay. Personally, I would much rather just pay to park and have direct access to my own vehicle. To be fair, the valet staff were always very friendly and welcoming whenever we came and went. We also ran into some minor inconveniences--there didn't seem to be enough robes, towels, or washcloths available during our stay. Overall, it was fine for a short visit. The lobby is stunning and the location is excellent, but the valet situation alone would make me choose somewhere else next time.

The hotel lobby appears recently remodeled and has lots of space for seating. The outdoor patio is even bigger, with fire pits, and tons of room for sitting al fresco. Near the front desk is a grab and go store with various snacks, drinks, toiletries, medicine, etc. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. WiFi was efficient. The shower pressure was like getting hit by Niagara Falls and honestly I'm here for it! Only drawback for me was the loud air conditioning when it kicked in. Like, you had to increase the volume on the television, and then lower the volume when it stopped. I didn't take advantage of the amenities (pool, dining, gym) due to my work schedule. However we did hang out by the fire pits and these are a nice touch. Now, one of them wasn't working and the other was going in and out, but the fact they had them was a win. Personally not a fan of the parking situation underneath the hotel. It shares a lot with the other hotels and businesses, and the parking spaces are way too tight. Parking isn't included and charged to your room upon checkout. Pros are free coffee in the lobby, walking distance to The Buff and Twenty Ninth Street Mall, and overall an engaging staff willing to accommodate your needs. Would suggest this hotel for friends staying in Boulder!

For me, I should have read the small print! $$ First of all... The young lady at the front desk had to deal with me after I had not slept for 36 hours, I have to give her a very high rating for fixing my reservation and allowing me to sleep in one of the cabin room for one night instead of on a hostel cot in a unit with five other people. I did go out and make a reservation at a different establishment for the other two nights that I was going to stay in Boulder. Second of all, I just needed to sleep... So this was a perfect place to lay my head until the morning. The three stars is definitely for the staff as they were very kind and very accommodating. I don't know how to rate the room itself. The railing that led to my room was rickety so I did not use it to climb the stairs that were also questionable. The room itself and the bed and linen were clean, but the floor of the tub was so brown that I could not take a shower in it. The TV did not work, and there was no air-conditioning. They did supply a box fan, which I set up in front of the TV (that was not functional) and slept with the fan blowing on me all night. Yes, I was in Colorado, but during the summer it's as warm as Georgia! For those of you who hate your phone, this is the perfect place for you as there is NO... And I mean zero... Cell service. The bright side is, is that they do provide Wi-Fi So there you have it! Enjoy life, make lots of memories, and safe travels

HVAC controls worked well. Comfortable bed. Only nitpick on physical plant is low water pressure for the shower and overly finicky control for shower temperature. Front of house team was gracious, from reception to food/beverage team. The common space around the bar is well used and we enjoyed that there were often students studying together at some of the tables. Main floor/lobby area flows nicely and is open and spacious. The side of the bar that opens onto the large patio has a wall that retracts entirely, making the transition from indoor to outdoor smooth. Radiant heat on the outdoor portion of the patio makes the space comfortable even in cooler temperatures. Moxy Boulder is steps away from the CU campus and only a 20 minute walk to Pearl Street. We were at the Flatirons 1 & 2/Flatirons Loop roughly 25 minutes walk from the hotel. We are looking forward to our next stay.

The only option we saw for parking was to use their valet service for an extra nightly charge which isn't ideal for those who want to keep costs low. The staff was incredibly friendly and the bar in the main lobby was well stocked with a small menu of curated (and expensive) cocktails many of which are very gin or bourbon based. The rooms themselves are incredibly tiny (think dorm room sized) with beds no larger than a queen. Additionally they have common area closets where you need to go for extra amenities such as lotion or extra pillows. Overall I don't mind the smaller more communal style experience but the cost should match and unfortunately it does not here, but if you want to stay in the heart of the campus this is a good choice.

Our room, and the hotel as a whole, was clean and comfortable with a great view of the mountains! It also has underground parking for guests which we were able to utilize! The elevators only go to guest floors with a room key which is a unique but comforting feature as a guest, knowing not just anyone can come up to the guest floors. The hotel was quiet and we couldn't hear any other people in the hallway while we were in our room. The hotel itself has lots of things within walking distance and an easy drive to more restaurants. Boulder Mountain park is also a short drive away and provides for great views from the hotel itself as well! There's also a nice outdoor seating and fire tables at night which is a fun hangout spot for guests. If I had to give something to improve, our shower in our room was a little leaky and dripped while it was off. It wasn't a major issue but just something I noticed right away! The chairs in the Canyon Lounge are also were very uncomfortable to sit in while having a few drinks. Overall, I could see myself staying here on my next trip to Boulder!

We burrowed under them and slept deeply. Complimentary breakfast was served until 9am and the offerings were delicious: coffee, juices (orange, apple, cranberry), milk (dairy, soy, almond). I was attending a conference in downtown Boulder, but looking for inexpensive, yet safe, accommodation. The reviews for Boulder University Inn were remarkably good for the price point, so I booked. When we arrived, I was a bit skeptical given the outside appearance. It looked like an old motel. Checking in at the front desk was easy and pleasant enough. It felt like a small, old school motel, which was different than the big hotel chains I'm used to, but it had its own kind of charm. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The real charm came from the service though. Samantha was at the front desk and when my sister and I asked about the safety of the area (in terms of walking to Downtown Boulder and back, possibly at night), she gave us great info and made us feel comfortable. Beyond giving us a quick lay of the land, we were extremely thirsty after a long walk and she was so kind as to offer us some extra complimentary waters. This was a small thing, but sets a small hotel apart from the big chains where no one has the autonomy to make someone's day with a little kindness. Overall, an affordable, safe, and decent hotel in Boulder that I'd definitely return to in the future!

This $300 stay was in a room that can be seen at a $120 La Quinta Inn. I travel for a living and am in roughly 30+ hotels a year. I was thankful though that the bed and pillows were comfortable enough to sleep well in. The towels are rough and cheap or old maybe? The bathroom counter needed repair. Just overall not good. Upon first arrival to the inn we walked in to be greeted by one in tact and one half eaten small muffin on the food bar which I guess was the snack offering as it was on a little service dish not an individuals plate. Super uninviting. The parking was great though and appreciated. We did enjoy the Great Room a little while during our stay which was cozy. When we got back from our dinner on Friday evening just before 9pm we wanted a cup of hot tea for bed and there was no longer any hot water on the beverage bar. What a disappointment. I will also say the tea choices were worse than that at a Hampton Inn. Very basic and not even close to even what a mid level hotel offers. The breakfast was nice. Quiche looked amazing but by the time we came down to eat at 9:45 which I understand is 15 minutes before it ended - the warmer was off and the quiche was cold. We did grab a muffin which tasted like it was from Safeway or Costco but it helped as we were hungry. Instead we had to eat a light bite across the street at the cafe. Another disappointment. Overall what could and should have been a really special experience felt like a run down room with a mediocre breakfast experience. I came with my adult daughter to celebrate her 26th birthday and I have to be honest and say that I felt terrible that I chose this inn.
