They were incredibly thorough and friendly - in fact, the first team even took time to explain the situation with our front entryway. Would not hesitate to have them out again!

I reached back out again to PaveBrite in August of 2026 and from my first phone call, I have had nothing but good service. Fortunately, the sales rep who gave my husband and I, the quote in 2024 actually remembered us. Before he began, he explained, that the quote from 2024 was invalid, and as we all know the price will be more. We figured the price would be more. He came out to our home and provided us with a new reasonable quote. We scheduled a date for the 2 day project to start. Mother Nature was not too kind for us, so our scheduled dates were postponed. However, for the following two days afterward Mother Nature calmed down, the crew came out and completed the project. The crew was so respectful and professional. Any questions or concerns we had, was immediately addressed to home office by the crew and resolved right on the spot. There were no down time necessary. When the crew completed the project, they left the site cleaned. They removed all debris. Most of all no damage to our driveway which we had just have resealed a few weeks before. Thank you PaveBrite for the great phone customer service, and for having a sales rep who remembered us. It was a great feeling to know he was attended to us in 2024 and 2026. And especially thank you for the youngmen, who worked so hard and still contained their people skills, professional conduct and left with a smile.

A Fresh Cut Landscaping (Illinois) planted 30 Thuja Arbor Vitae trees with 3 feet of mulch on each…read moreside around the perimeter of my corner lot property. Additionally, they constructed two 15-foot long stone masonry "knee" walls (approximately 3 feet tall) with taller columns. While this sounds straightforward, the work involved was significant; there were previous cement slabs to be removed, a trench of roots where old trees and a hedge shrub wall once lived, a tree to remove, drain tile to re-route, and electric work run underground to the columns for cap lights. The business owner (Dave) was patient and thoughtful in making several trips for the initial consultation with ideas, options, and advice - yet listened carefully and non-judgmentally to my own. This is a skill set in its own right as I don't know anything about landscaping, but he was able to listen to my words and translate them into landscaping language and appropriate options. Additionally as the work progressed and more ideas came to mind, Dave was able to discuss them. Lastly, when I asked that additional work beyond the scope of the initial plans be added on (such as removing and disposing of old chain link fencing) so that future work would be possible there were zero complaints and I wasn't price-gouged. His work crew is skilled and are truly "landscapers" - not lawn cutters (there's a difference). I learned that his foreman has been with the company for 25 years. This is a company where the employees are clearly invested in the business' success and vice versa. The employees know what they're doing and are much more than simple laborers. Dave has the gift of vision for what a property can look like despite its current (in my case terrible) state. He is enthusiastic yet also cost-conscious and does not up-sell you anything you don't need. In fact in my experience he was more likely to make suggestions to save money. At the onset of the work I was only asked for a down payment to cover the hold/purchase of a significant number of trees from the nursery. A Fresh Cut's employees were respectful of my property and the company is well-equipped for the work they do including skid steer, tractor, back hoe, and multiple heavy duty dumps. The employees worked hard at the grunt work that couldn't be performed by heavy machinery. Communication was constant and Dave remained patient and committed to the cause throughout. I was never under the impression that my job took a backseat to any other projects. I plan to use A Fresh Cut for future projects around my property, including patio and pond work.
