This is a great place for men and boys to get a few hairs removed from their head.
Walk in and sit on the massive, comfy leather sofas and read the newspaper or books provided. There is great music playing in a variety of styles, mainly jazzy and upbeat. The place is clean, warm and light.
The wait varies with the time of day. If you get there when everyone is at work its quick but there can be a bit of a queue at peak times.
The staff are friendly and good with children. The hair cuts are good and I always feel happy when I leave. They seem to cater for a wide range of styles, perhaps verging slightly on the trendy side of things. I don't know much about hair so I normally ask them to make it look good, which they manage. This shows they have the ability to take a bit of an initiative with the scissors. It does cost a more than the standard barber, but it is a very relaxing place to go for a trim.
If you want a cheap hair cut, get a friend to do it or pop into Super Cuts. Otherwise this is a nice little establishment and worth a visit if you've not tried it. read more
