The company at which I work had a get together with some meetings and some bar crawls. I must have forgotten all about this place due to the bar crawls, but now that I sobered up, it's time for a review. The corner suite that I stayed in was quite awesome. The views were awesome, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was neat with the dial to control the temperature. I slept well, but after days of meetings and nights of exploring Broadway, how could you not? The meeting rooms were oddly located with a labyrinth of stairs and corridors, but once you got the hang of it, it was easy to repeat. The food was killer (not literally) and everyone seemed please with the offerings. The staff was also great in tending to the needs of everyone. I'd go here again for an event or for meetings in a heartbeat. My only complaint was it was a tad far from the madness of the main drag of bars and nightlife. Initial Review: In town for a conference down the street, the Hutton Hotel was a good choice, located in Music Row of downtown Nashville. We really enjoyed the hotel's musical themes, with helpful and friendly staff from the concierge and front desk to the door personnel who helped us inside and assisted with our luggage. The room was gorgeous and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and good shower pressure. The lobby was very warm and cozy, with some listening stations for listening to music. They had a nice restaurant and bar, albeit it closed by 10 PM, so that was one drawback when we were returning from a night out. Additionally, I didn't find out until after the fact that the gym was closed due to renovations, only because my wife had found out indirectly. I wish I had known beforehand, as I had wanted to work out at least on the hotel grounds. There was an Orange Theory down the street, but given my conference schedule, I couldn't attend a class. Despite this, I would go back to Hutton. It's a lovely hotel, not far from downtown restaurants and bars via an Uber, and a comfortable drive to the airport, so long as it's not during rush hour. read more

Beautiful entryway & lobby. The event was held in a really nice club setting with stage set up with a drum set on each side, as the event was honoring well-renown drummers who play & endorsed by Yamaha Drums. We had a wonderful experience at the Hutton Hotel. From the moment we pulled up, we were greeted by the friendly valet who helped us with our bags. We checked into our room on the 12th floor. The room had nice touches like a Marshall Bluetooth speaker and a Dyson hairdryer. Housekeeping always kept us stocked with fresh towels. The location is a great spot. We had a nice stay at the Hutton hotel. It was conveniently located near broadway street. We first self parked in the garage but once checking in and the parking fees were explained to us (you are charged each time you go out the garage & charged again for overnight fee) one of the guest service lady recommended we use the valet service as it is a one time fee even if you come & go. The valet is cheaper than self parking in the garage! The lobby aesthetic is nice. We booked a king size room but the bed looked more like queen size but we were only there for one night so it was fine. Room was small but again for a one night stay it's fine but probably wouldn't be comfortable for days stay. Overall the hotel was clean and quiet. Would recommend this hotel and stay here again if doing 1-2 nights. read more

So this hotel was a great experience. We came in town for the Uncle Nearest Tour and my boyfriend's birthday and I am so glad we chose this place. They did birthday decorations for our room and they had a welcome kit set up for my dog. Listen what they did for my dog and boyfriend was so thoughtful and it really touched our hearts. We stayed in the penthouse suite. We had a great view, two TVs, and the decor was very unique. The staff was helpful and always ready to accommodate our needs. Their rates are also very reasonable. The front entrance is under construction. There is no night stands with drawers and no cabinets or a dresser to use in the bedroom. They have a night stand with 2 drawers in the sitting room. The coffee pot is ridiculous. You have to heat the water then pour it in your cup and then put the coffee bag in and let it steep for 5 minutes. A good keurig coffee maker would be great. The view is hideous. There is no place to sit you stuff in the bathroom. This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. This is just a little bit above a Motel 6. I would never come back here again. The employees were fantastic. The food was good except for the chicken. It was so salty. You couldn't eat it. They did not charge us for it. read more

Great find! I traveled a few days early for a conference and decided to stay in Midtown to do some sightseeing near Vanderbilt. This hotel was in good proximity to some bars, live music, and a cool Dolly-themed hotel/restaurant. (Really glad to avoid Broadway, too!) Overall, hotels in Nashville (I stayed in another one in Downtown) are underwhelming compared to those in other big cities. Honestly, for the price I paid per night, my room was pretty small and I would've expected a complimentary shuttle service. However, I was really happy to be on the 13th floor with a beautiful view. The sunrise and sunsets were absolutely gorgeous from my bedside. The welcome drink/coffee cart was confusing. I missed out on the complimentary welcome wine or beer during my first night because no one was there when I checked in. Seemed like inconsistent pandemic issues. The gym was basic but had some good machines and essential equipment. Unfortunately, there is no on-site restaurant, and room service was limited, so I had to eat elsewhere. I went to Hattie B's the first night, which was within walking distance a block away. Not a big deal since I was only there for 2 nights, but for the price, an on-site restaurant is expected. Stayed here for4 nights and it was a great location snd our room was lovely and modern. First impression: Beautiful lobby - newly renovated. Cool furniture and extra friendly staff. They didn't have a filling station but they hooked us up every day with water bottles. Since they just recently renovated, the restaurant wasn't open yet they had coffee and tea for breakfast but that was it. Back to the room--it was a good size. Bathrobes hanging in the closet. Giant rain shower head and clear glass sink gave it a modern, cool vibe. High end toiletries too. It's a little further down from the craziness on Broadway, but I kinda like it that way. It was still only about a mile from the touristy places so very walkable and conveniently located. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a Lyft. It's a block or two away from Hattie Bs, Row Kitchen and Midtown Cafe which are all excellent places to eat. I would definitely stay here again. read more

There are good qualities to this hotel, the room was nice and clean, the service was great, however, they will charge you for overnight parking after staying in their hotel if you park before you check in IN THEIR HOTEL PARKING LOT!!! They will not and say they cannot validate if you enter their parking lot and use the QR code to get in. So basically, read everything or they force you to use the valet parking. They charged us an additional $55 to park AT THEIR HOTEL!!! Plus the bed frames stick out so far I have bruises on both shins. Bad call on the parking guys. The room needed a lick of paint, you could see plaster in the bathroom. They advertised as having a restaurant on site, this was being 'remodeled' aka no one currently leases the space. Parking is a total rip off at $45 plus a day. Worse is that we got charged for our stay after we checked out. Even though we had paid for our stay before arriving. So we got double charged. This was eventually sorted out and we got refunded ten days later. I'm sure there are better places to stay... read more

This place is beyond amazing. Situated steps from Music Row this boutique hotel strives to give more than a stay, they want you to have an experience. The do it well. You are greeted immediately and cheerfully upon entering the lobby and that friendly service follows you everywhere. The rooms are spacious and stocked with premium linens and designer products in the bathroom. It is easy to relax and unwind. Another amenity is their bar Analog. More than a bar, it is a stellar venue for some of Nashville's outstanding musicians. We were treated to a Christmas show that was as creative as the decor. Tickets are complimentary for hotel guests. A shout out to Steve at the front desk who took care of us from our first phone call forward. He mad us feel special. They held our bags and texted when our room was available for us. The rooms are on the smaller side but clean and practical with mini-refrigerator. Stayed here for 2 nights in September. This trip to Nashville was solely for the intent of watching the Titans game. My trip was from a Friday night until Sunday night. I booked through my Amex platinum card, because Hutton Hotel is a member of the Fine resorts and hotels collection. By booking with my Amex, I was treated to a complimentary room upgrade, VIP status, $100 meal credit, and a 30$ (each person) breakfast voucher for my boyfriend and I ( that's $60 of breakfast per day!) Aside from eating Hattie Bs and going to the Patterson house, both of which are only 5 minutes walking distance away, we pretty much ate all our meals at the hotel- very satisfied. The hotel offers complimentary shuffle board which we took advantage of. There's a great workout space with complimentary disposable water bottles too. We used the Tesla car service to get downtown on 2 occasions- the drivers were awesome. Do be aware, it's first come first serve so you may have a small wait. Our room was modern, had a rain shower, and was the perfect amount of space for 2 people. The king size bed was so comfy!! The front desk staff were friendly and stored our bags for us after check out (4pm late checkout if your VIP). We really appreciate the hospitality and will certainly be back if we decide to come to Nashville for another game! read more

Pulled in on a Wednesday in April after a long day of flying, pulled into the parking garage for $42/day and headed to the front desk. The lobby is gorgeous! Mid-century decor and a prohibition-style feel. Asked front desk staff some recommendations for dinner and she said she's new, but I could jump in the line of the other girl working and she would let me know some recs... weird. They had live music from 4-7pm, which apparently they have every day! There was also a little mini bar from 5pm-8:30ish every day. Rooms are small, but nice for the most part. We got the room for $212/night in April 2022, which I would say that's about what it's worth. I've read here that people have paid $500/night which is INSANE. Location is awesome, on the outskirts from the crazy just enough that it's not overbearingly loud at night, but close enough to be able to walk to the gulch, broadway, mockingbird/arcade area. However.. our room just felt a little musty. The day we arrived, it was hot, yet muggy and gloomy outside and a tornado was coming in. We went to blast the AC and my husband and I had issues fully breathing the rest of the night. Next day same thing. We would be out and about in beautiful weather and be ok, but as soon as we got back and blasted the AC, we didn't feel right. I would guess that the filter needs to be changed. I think (?) the vent to the filter was in the room and I accidentally opened the area to expose the most dust filled, gray piece of fuzzy looking fur I've ever seen. Disgusting. The down comforter didn't help, the feathers went everywhere every time we touched it so we threw it on the other side of the room and try to stay away from it as much as possible. read more

Save yourself the money & hassle! We stayed at the Hutton Hotel last month for my sister's birthday. What a mess we had to deal with because we chose to stay here. We booked a room with 2 queen beds for our group but were given a single bed. I went downstairs to ask the receptionists to place us in the room we paid for with 2 beds. The staff reported that they were completely out of rooms for tonight & that we would have to make do with the one bed. I asked for roll away cots so we wouldn't be sleeping on the floor & they reassured me that we were upgraded to a suite & that there would be a couch in the room... They suggested we come down to the lobby at 9 AM to ask for a new room in the morning. We were handed a pile of linen & sent on our way. At 9:00 we went downstairs & asked about a new room & for compensation for the night we spent on the couch. Manager Oliver Emsallem was called & came down immediately. After checking our reservation details on the computer, he confirmed we had booked a room with 2 queen beds. He took us immediately to a room with 2 queen beds & said he would need to get it inspected, but that we could have this room if we wanted it. He then said that if we didn't want that particular room, we could be relocated to a sister hotel called The Graduate which is nicer than the hotel we were in. We agreed to move over if he could secure a room with two beds. He guaranteed this to us & told us to check out from the Hutton. We packed our bags & I called The Graduate to confirm that Oliver had set up a room for us. They could not confirm this information over the phone & stated that they did not have any rooms with 2 queen beds available. We walked all the way over there to talk to reception in person. They looked up Oliver's request & said that we were being given a children's room with two twin beds. (The parental suite/conjoining room was being used by a couple & would be blocked off). We said no thank you to this reservation which left some of us sleeping on the floor & went back to the Hutton. We told Oliver we would take the 2 queen room he showed us earlier. To which he replied that the room failed inspection & could not be occupied. I asked about a partial refund since some of our group would not have a bed to sleep in for our entire trip. He said that he probably could not do that, but that he would comp anything we wanted. Specifically, he took off the $20 resort fees, he promised one free meal at the hotel's restaurant & free valet services for our rental car. We agreed. On our last night, we picked up the rental car to begin the next leg of our journey. We spoke to Oliver once again to confirm that we could have validated parking for our car for that one night. He said to valet the car & told us he put a $100 room credit on our tab for dinner. We had dinner at Evelyn's downstairs & when the bill came, we asked them to charge it to the room. The manager came over & said that they don't accept room charges. WTF. So we checked out the next day & we were given a bill. Upon reviewing the bill, we were charged twice for valet (so that's two 24 hour charges). We had the car for 17 hours total at the hotel. I explained this to the receptionist & also reminded her that the valet was supposed to be free in the first place. She was very nice about it & said to just check out & not worry about the bill. I received an email from the Hutton Hotel asking how my stay was. I sent a very honest response & explained that issued we had with management's follow through, on top of the missing bed! I then got an email from Oliver himself promising a partial refund for our trouble. I was satisfied with that & would never have written a negative review online because it was done with. Then I get a refund three days later for $1.87. I emailed Oliver & asked what that was for. He said he would follow up with his financial team. We never received the partial credit. I've reached out to him once since then & he never replied. I'm so disappointed with this hotel! It's not worth the hassle. Just go somewhere else and get what you pay for! read more

What a lovely hotel! The staff here is top notch. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating. We were offered free breakfast at Mane and Rye for signing up for their Leaders Club. It was a fantastic offer, which we definitely took advantage of. I will post a separate review for the restaurant. Our room was very nice. My only complaint is that even though we were way up on the 9th floor, it was still very noisy due to the outside traffic. We could hear everything on the street clear as a bell and the sounds of sirens woke me up in the middle of the night on more than one occasion. The hotel also offers complimentary shuttle service via a Tesla on a first come first serve basis within a three mile radius. You couldn't always bank on service though. They only have one car to service the entire hotel and it only holds four people plus the driver. I get that they are trying to chauffeur guests in style but I would have vastly preferred a nice van or over sized SUV that can accommodate more guests at once. Or if they could get a second car to transport guests that would be helpful. One Friday night there was a 45 minute wait for a ride. On Saturday afternoon they had no availability at all because they had no drivers. This amenity definitely needs some work. The Hutton is an excellent hotel overall though. It is in a great area. It's away from the chaos of lower Broadway but within walking distance of a couple of restaurants and a liquor store. I would definitely come back here when returning to Nashville. read more

I wish I could leave negative stars. Horrible. Scam. Fees, fees, and fees. The shower was dirty. The bathroom floors were dirty. The great service in the lobby makes me want to leave a better review, but the bad outweighs the good. I could've paid less money and had more value anywhere else. Also, no free breakfast? Nearly every cheap hotel provides it, but for some reason, this "high class" hotel doesn't? I wasn't expecting it because it isn't included, but seriously? Be prepared to get hit with random fees that aren't disclosed, tax that isn't disclosed. I have never had to pay fees on my way out the door. Especially after the money I had already spent to stay. Ridiculous. I should also mention that upon checking out, none of the staff could explain to me exactly why I was paying what I was paying. I wish I would've stayed at the cheap hotel down the road. I will never stay at another Hutton hotel. read more

Whatever you do, don't accidentally forget anything in your room. Getting it back is impossible. I left a pair of eyeglasses in my room, and have spent weeks trying to get anyone from the hotel to respond to my repeated inquiries. They required that I use a third-party service called charger-back, which has sent me endless automated emails claiming the hotel staff is "still searching" for my item. Every time I call, I get nowhere. One gentleman even said, "I'm not going to lie, most employees are not helpful." How reassuring! Honestly, how difficult could it be to walk into the room where lost and found items are stored and search for an item with a full description? Does that take 10 days? If you're human, and you commit the egregious offense of forgetting a personal item during your stay at the Hutton Hotel, be prepared to never get that item back -- not because they don't potentially have it, but because they can't be bothered to take 5 minutes to "unlock" the storage area where these items are placed. Only 3 staff members have access to this area, and apparently none of them care enough to follow-up on inquiries! read more

A decent hotel, but missing some of the conveniences I look for in a hotel. The location is great for proximity to Vanderbilt, but not a close walk for many of the touristy areas like Music Row and The Gulch. There were a decent amount of restaurant options within walking distance. The drive from the airport to the hotel took me less than 20 minutes on a weekday afternoon. The room and bathroom were on the tiny side, but typical of a city boutique hotel. This is more of an observation than a negative. Even though the bathroom wasn't giant they did allocate space for a large shower that was nice. The bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep. We didn't pick up noise from outside or surrounding rooms either. The valet employees were friendly and quick. Leaving the car at check-in was easy and they were quick to get the car back to me at check-out. A quick summary of what didn't "wow" me about the hotel. There was a coffee bar, but it had a very limited selection of morning necessities. That'll be a separate review, but they didn't even offer bottled water. The hotel looked amazing online. We got in and it looked upscale and swanky. Come to find out you have to pay $47 to park you car A NIGHT, or each time you leave the garage. It's a third party app. Or you can pay $52 a night for valet. This you can come and go as you please. Service was pretty top notch. The valet attendees where very professional and super fast on getting our vehicles out to us and others. Barely a wait time. The only thing is our room was not cleaned or tidied up until I called b/c we ran out of tp and had trash that needed to be taken out. The rooms at first looks great little small but good. However, there were stains all over the couch, the bathroom had broken titles and mysterious stains dripping on the back splash. The toilet sit was broken. Evelyn's restaurant, that is their hidden gem. Food was above on point so delicious, I felt like I needed to be rolled out. Managers checked on us, their two bartenders Cam and a lady I'm so sorry forgot her name. So nice, gave us their opinions on what to order, and where to go and what to see in town. Analog, it's their lounge with live performances nightly. So pretty and upscale. Loved it, little pricey on the drinks. $35 for jack & coke and a beer. I understand that no place will ever be perfect, however, there are things they need to work on. read more

Our experience at this hotel was good overall. I think the room was big because we had a living room area and then a bedroom area. I really like the bathroom because it was big and the mirror was big. Also, the shower was huge and very modern because it's automatic so you can set what temperature you want your water to be at. The room has 2 tv's, one in the living room, and one in the bedroom. There's a mini fridge full of drinks that you can charge to your room and there is also a desk, coffee maker, safe, drawers, etc. Toiletries are also in the room. The shower came with shampoo and conditioner and body wash dispenser which I thought was a nice touch! The hotel has 3 elevators which is awesome so you're not waiting too long. It has a huge waiting area, a small bar that has nice staff, and a restaurant where you can eat brunch at downstairs. I was told we were going to get upgraded VIP but I wasn't sure if we actually got upgraded. My favorite part of my stay here is the door people. They carry your luggage for you, help you carry the luggage to your car, help you go up the stairs when it's slippery, close the door of your Uber for you, like literally the small things go a long way for me as a customer! After our stay, I made sure to tip those door guys. They also do the valet parking I believe. I thought the price was ok, it was a bit expensive but cheaper than the other hotels closer downtown. It is close enough to downtown and a short Uber ride if you don't want to walk. There are food places close by such as Hattie B's if you want to try hot chicken. Staff was good to us overall. The only thing is that they don't have a microwave so if you had food and you wanted to heat it up, you can't. Room service was good but they gave us too many towels lol which I thought was so funny. Like we don't need 20 towels for 2 nights! But I appreciate the service nonetheless. My bf used the gym and he said that it was really nice. Free water bottles at the gym and towel used which he really liked. I actually made him get me a few waters so I didn't have to pay for it! I'm still exploring Nashville, but so far this is my favorite hotel. And I'll likely stay there again in the future. The only issue is that it is a bit far from Broadway, where I usually spend my time. The hotel shuttle and Uber has made it easy to get back and forth, but it's still not as convenient as other hotels. The advantage though is that it is quieter. This is a boutique hotel that is really well cozy and warm with its wood paneling. There is a small bar area and a coffee bar, which meets both the wake up and wind down needs. There's also a restaurant, but it's nothing special. Given the amazing food scene in Nashville, I would suggest you dine elsewhere. The rooms are nice and comfortable, the bed provides for a great nights rest and the walk-in shower has great water pressure. I also judge a hotel based on the little things - slippers were provided and the bath products were really nice. All in all I highly recommend. It's just not as convenient as some of the other hotels. read more

The staff was friendly and helpful, they have a live music venue, a bar and a coffee bar (but it doesn't serve Cold Brew, which I was really bummed about) The bartender at the Analog (music venue) wasn't too familiar with making requested drinks, but overall the venue was very nice! All of the food was fantastic. My room was clean and cozy, great bathroom, provides heavy robes and large, plush towels. The soaps and shampoos smelled amazing! Okay I get it-"we're in Nashville" so tired of hearing it. I know it's a hot and happening place but I've never stayed somewhere that parking wasn't included for the guest. I paid $53 to park myself (not valet) in their parking garage for an overnight stay. If you move your vehicle it will charge you again. You have to keep your card in a slot to keep the lights on your room, use the elevators but they are so fancy and uppty but there is no USB port anywhere in the room. Don't forget your charger box. When booking it stated breakfast; don't be misled. You do not get complimentary breakfast by that statement; you can get complimentary coffee from 7-8. I will definitely go to a Holiday Inn or Motel 6 where they always leave the light on, coffee is always available and some sort of complimentary breakfast is offered. Being bougie ain't really worth it. Save your money- it's just a place to lay your head for a few hours. read more

So much about this place screams 5 stars but it just couldn't get there. The staff for most part was so helpful! However there was a slight level of immaturity behind the counter by some. Reading a book, looking on Instagram, making jokes in front of customers. BUT when we had issues with our room, they were ON IT. They were very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were the issue. It's an older hotel remodeled, and looks amazing. Love the coffee bar, the live music in the lobby and they have a great music venue. SO GOOD. But the first room the keys never worked. The second room the fire alarm went off in the night. Then there is this little speaker in the rooms for fire I think, and it kept making faint radio noises. Then the closest doors wouldn't open and the bathroom doors wouldn't shut. Y'all, I'm not saying don't stay here because it's really nice. It was just really close to being amazing but missed it by THAT much. As I was leaving I was thinking, I might Stay here again, but it's not worth it if I need to keep calling downstairs for room issues. Met really nice folks working there, but sadly... Exceptional hotel, clean rooms, great staff, great location, nice bar, good live bands in club and live performers in lobby throughout day. Really nothing bad I could say. I had a wonderful time. Suggestion: use the valet parking although it's $52 you can come and go, with the self parking every time you leave you have to pay the $42 and you do need your car to go other places except for Broadway because there's no way around it with all the traffic and people. Also, there needs to be a concierge person to give tourist information especially to first timers. read more
