So I called i was told the girl that does referrals was out of the office for a week. So instead of another employee helping out and processing referrals they just pile them up on the desk. So then once the lady gets back and processes the referral it will take up to three more weeks for scheduling to call and make an appointment. So basically over a month to be contacted. Then probably a couple more months for an appointment date. They Suck!!!

One MA was compassionate among the 7 different staff we interacted with. The information was just barely sufficient. I think that they either are not trained to interact with anyone with anxiety/autism/elderly or any mental health variation, or they don't care. And it matters when helping someone in a potential emergency. What I took away from the experience was a new fear that I might one day need emergency care and end up there myself.

As a Cardiologist, Dr Weiss would not call us back when my husband was having problems with his…read moreheart. In the meantime, Dr Weiss had my husband on the wrong medication, no beta blocker, and it took his "stand in" while he was on vacation to get him on the "right" medication. My husband, as a result, had numerous mini strokes. We then went back to see him in one year after the first visit to see if his condition has worsened. It had, in fact, but Dr. Weiss said to "watch and monitor " the heart instead of fixing the problem. We have chosen to not see this doctor any longer because we feel like it was certainly substandard care. I do not recommend. Someone could die waiting for him. We have now gotten a second opinion, and my husband was told to get his affairs in order. After getting substandard care myself after being at Community Hospital for decades, I too, will not be going back to Community Hospital unless there is absolutely no other choice. The care at this hospital is not good any longer.
