How hard is it to remove a cyst and have it disappear with just a scar which I was told I would have. I was fine with that, but that's not what I got. None of them ever mentioned or tried Prednisone, which has been Dr. Higgins' go-to when I experience a flare up. It calms the flare over a few days time. The topicals she prescribes as well as her OTC recommendations keep it calm for a good while afterwards. Dr. Higgins' also has the best bedside manner I've experienced with a physician. She is friendly, open, compassionate, and you can easily see how she genuinely cares for and empathizes with her patients. She is incredibly charismatic with a good sense of humor and she, as well as her staff, quickly make you feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend going to her for any dermatological concerns, especially if you've had poor experiences or poor treatment outcomes in the past.
