If Husky isn't installing your fence you are paying too much and it just might not be what you want. Our yard had many issues to over come and not once did this stop the guys from getting our new fence in or the old one removed. Gates where I wanted, even odd sizes were no problem for these guys. 2 of the photos show the huge Oak from the neighbor's yard that they had to over come. If we could give them more stars, we would! Phil and his crew are the best! We had our entire tired and aging fence replaced including 3 gates. We chose a board on board cedar and it is BEAUTIFUL. The gates that Phil built blew our minds! Over and above what we were expecting. We struggled and wrestled with our old gates and the new are not only beautiful but glide opened and closed easily and quietly. The entire job was completed in 3 days including tear down of old fence, replacing with new, hanging the gates, and hauling away the old stuff. Phil's crew are hardworking, punctual, professional and courteous. They were very careful with the landscaping and plants and very tidy in their cleanup each day. They were even considerate of our dog when they had to leave the gate opening overnight and made sure things were secure so she could be let into the yard safely. Phil talks the talk and walks the walk, following through as promised every step of the way. His bid for a six foot ornamental iron fence with gate was not the lowest, but it was a third of the price of the highest bid we received, a relative bargain. The turnaround time from giving him the go-ahead to completion was less than a week and Husky had the fencing in stock, so there was no need to special order. I got a ridiculously high bid from a massive fence company in Portland and the soonest the said they could install it would be "in 12 weeks", so we got a beautiful fence for a very fair price. I was not at home when Husky Fence completed the install, so there were a couple of minor things that I thought needed to be addressed. Phil was here the very next day with his entire crew to resolve my concerns. Now that's customer service! There are not many businesses these days that make customer service a priority, a core value, so it is refreshing to work with a company that shares three of my seven values: service, integrity, and excellence. During the summer of 2021 we had a car accident that happened in front of our house that ended up coming into our side yard. The cars crashed through our arborvitae and through our chain-link fence. We called many fence businesses to try to have it fixed and they all blew us off basically. Either the job was too small or when I mentioned insurance they absolutely would not come out and look at our fence because they said they didn't like to deal with insurance claims. I called Husky Fence on a recommendation I got from another fencing company and they came out immediately the day that I called. The owner came and looked at the job and within a week was out fixing our fence. It took them maybe two hours here. I called Husky Fence for an estimate on a custom cedar fence installed in my front yard. Husky was the last of 4 companies I had called for an estimate on the same fence. The first estimate was about $3500, the second was $3175, the third was $4619 (this was a landscaping business). Husky came back with an estimate of $2254, and he honored the 5% discount from Angie's List. Phil who is the owner is very punctual, a great communicator, and super personable. I felt comfortable asking him for his opinion, and I also noticed he is very detail oriented. When I showed him the picture of what I was hoping for, he picked up on some details right away and commented on them to make sure he understood what I wanted. None of the other contractors had really seemed to pay that much attention. I really liked Phil from the get go, he made me feel like he wanted to build a fence I would love. From the time Phil came to give me an estimate to the time the job was complete was a couple weeks. The job took about day and half. The first day was spent setting the posts (which was backbreaking because my yard is mostly rocks). Each day the crew cleaned up very nicely. I expected my yard to get somewhat torn up, but they did an amazing job and didn't disrupt any of the grass or flower beds. The fence is beautiful! It looks exactly as I had hoped, actually better!
