Kendell offered patient guidance as we managed our wishlist and budget, helping us to maximize every dollar of investment and every inch of allowable square footage to ensure we'll be enjoying this property for years to come. Kendell was very communicative and explained in detail the project timeline, outlining the contractual obligations of both parties, deposit and payment due dates, project completion date, etc. We understood that his quote was based on current building materials cost, and that the quote had an expiry date. We gladly signed the contract to lock in the quote, and get on BDBD's build schedule. Throughout the project, Kendell kept us informed at every step, even checking in during periods of foul weather, when no construction could take place. In summary, we could not be more pleased with the improvements Kendell built for us; we and our guests have a beautiful place to make some pretty amazing memories.

Took too long getting first half of the dock done, we had to pay to extend our permit; with no offer from him to pay for extension because of his delays, then he said he needed more money and would check back with us in 6 months. We did not agree to pay any more money than we agreed on in second contract from 2 months earlier, where he upped the price by $4000 for steel prices. He would not honor his price/contract. After a refrigerator leak caused water damage to our engineered hardwood floor, I called three…read moredifferent flooring companies for an estimate on either a repair or replacement. Due to the age of the floor, and the unavailability of the existing floor product, we had to do a complete replacement. My wife and I were most impressed with Michael Yanez, owner of Best Budget Flooring and Remodeling, so we chose his company for our wood floor replacement. We couldn't be more impressed with the entire process. Best Budget replaced our engineered hardwood with luxury vinyl flooring. It only took Michael's flooring and painting teams three days to complete the project. The floor is approximately 1000 square feet. They moved all of our furniture, hung plastic to prevent dust from invading the rest of our home, removed the quarter round, removed the old floor, sanded and prepped the foundation, installed the new floor, repaired the water damaged baseboards, installed new quarter round, painted all of the baseboards, cleaned up after themselves, and moved all furniture to exactly where we wanted it. We were blown away with how quickly the project was completed. My wife and I absolutely love our new floor. Michael and his team were knowledgeable, professional and very courteous. Michael visited our home several times throughout the three days to make sure everything was going well. I couldn't be more impressed, and we would absolutely use Best Budget Flooring again.
