I came in with my parents seeking a good Internist to replace the many mediocre ones each of us had. Even after seeing the 5 star reviews of this doctor online and after talking to other friends who referred him, I never imagined he would be so good and so meticulous about everything. He spent a good 30+ minutes with us talking about all aspects of my fathers' (the patient) health. Even without any extensive previous medical records to go on, Dr. Grivej was able to help guide and give us a better understanding of my dad's medical problems. He knew a lot of the doctors my dad had been seeing and was very candid with us about the shortcomings of some of the specialists. He ordered a set of tests and let us know what to expect in following visits. After spending almost 2 weeks in the hospital with my Dad, my parents and I have never felt much more at ease and knowledgeable about the path to take than we have today. This review cannot thank you enough, doctor for your human kindness to all. Your team, from nurses to front office staff were also kind, meticulous, and caring like yourself. My family and I have been going to the Bloomfield and Northville) facilities for over 3 years. The physicians in charge, Dr Kesliker and Sookasikon exemplify the attentive, holistic care of the patient in the time they take with the patient. If you are a regular patient, the difference shows in how the husband-wife team of lead physicians consistently connect up the dots & history, over and above the charts and the prescriptions, paying attention to emotional health, what's going on in school with the kids, etc. Dr Kesliker did not hesitate to make time for telehealth checkup, primary care appointments for my son when he went out of state for college. They are very supportive in helping connect family members with specialists (whether it be for physical medicine, physio therapy or therapy) ; many a time I have seen Dr K make calls to insurance on behalf of patients to support insurance claims or to explain the need for a procedure, taking up significant bits of his time, on repeated calls to explain to insurance why a test needs to be done or to be available to explain to a specialist a situation. Our experience has been that all the physicians, nurse practitioners and staff at both Northville & Bloomfield sites are very patient-centered, customer-oriented, and responsive. Follow up calls are a regular feature of every visit, to go over test results and other material, including Covid test results. Emcura also has the fastest, most responsive Covid testing my family has seen in the last 18 months; we have been there for testing 7-8 times for one of the family members. Insurance flexibility -- they are flexible, I have had changes in insurance and Emcura, Dr Kesliker's group have been flexible to take on new insurance carriers. When there are good service providers in our community, I feel one should take time to communicate this, particularly for critical functions like healthcare. From start to finish with estimated times. as of 1-3-22 Get there an hour and half befor they open to get up front. yes it's that crazy. don't get there at opening you won't get in and they'll send you home. The test are easy and fast once you're to the final spot in the long venture in-line.

Initially I was annoyed that I had to go over my medical history with somebody new however, it became one of the best things that ever happened to me. Dr Barish, took a different approach to my care. Rather than just giving me more medications to ease my symptoms, you wanted to dig it out what was causing that. The time I was getting blisters on my hands and wrists, I was also experiencing a lot of information anytime something would come in harsh contact with my skin. If I accidentally bit my lip, it would get swollen up like somebody punched me in the mouth, one time I was carrying a 10 lb carry-on piece of luggage over my shoulder and when I got to my hotel it looked like there was a softball underneath my right shoulder from the massive amount of swelling from the slight irritation. My previous doctors called it contact dermatitis, nobody could really figure out what the problem was. Dr Barish, after reviewing a tremendous amount of blood work and labs, he wanted to look at my microbiome within my gut. I didn't understand the correlation but he must have saw something that nobody else saw because after putting me on an elimination diet, all of my symptoms disappeared and they never came back even after introducing my normal foods back into my diet. I hated doing the elimination diet for the 6 weeks that I was unable to eat the foods that I was used to eating, but his encouragement for me to remain vigilant and discipline through the process helped my gut reset and I have not had any of these symptoms come back in the last seven or eight years. Ever since then I followed Dr Barish, over to Henry Ford, and now on to his own practice. I hope that he is my doctor for the rest of my life because I believe that with his guidance I will live a healthier more vibrant lifestyle than I would under the guidance of others. This guy is really special, he has a true gift, and I believe it's because he genuinely cares.

I waited 2 weeks before going to my Ears, Nose and Throat doctor who confirmed my hearing loss was permanent and highly recommended Dr. Natarajan to me. On my first visit to Dr. Natarajan I went in screaming and kicking because I could not accept the fact that I may need hearing aids. My thought process was 'hearing aids are for "old" people and I was only 65 years old'. Dr. Natarajan sensed right away my reluctance and calmed my fears by noting 2 things to me 1) Nobody will even notice you are wearing hearing aids because so many people, today, are wearing 'things' in their ears (like ear buds, etc.) 2) If you can't see you wear glasses so if you can't hear you wear hearing aids. That second statement really hit home because I have had poor vision most of my life. I finally gave in and we proceeded with the hearing test and hearing aid fitting. Over the years I have visited Dr. Natarajan many times for either insurance sponsored new hearing aids and routine maintenance which the Doctor executes in a timely manner right in her office. There were a few times that my hearing aids had a mechanical problem and needed to be sent out to the lab to fix. When hearing aids have to be sent to a lab, Dr.Natarajan always expedites the process so you do not have to wait very long for your corrected hearing aids (usually within a week). PLUS. she provides 'loaner' hearing aids until your hearing aids come back repaired. Once my hearing aids suddenly broke down a day before an out of town vacation. I called Dr. Natarajan about my predicament. She brought home some loaners and I went to her house to pick them up, Vacation saved! Now that was 'top shelf' customer service. Dr. Natarajan always treats your money like it was her money and always finds the most cost effective solution for you. As noted above, Dr. Natarajan is very experienced, knowledgeable, and most important to me, is that she is always friendly, greets you with a smile and has a very comforting 'bedside manner'. Dr. Natarajan has a big, clean office conveniently located on Northwestern Highway in Farmington Hills. Her building is easy to find and has plenty of handicap parking for those of us who need it. Dr. Natarajan's staff is a mirror image of herself, being extremely kind, courteous and with customer service that is second to none. As you can see, I would highly recommend Dr. Natarajan. My only hope is that she out lives me so I will not have to find another audiologist.
