At the end they both said the previous person had inflated the estimate and that they will talk with management to make a lowering adjustment to the bill. Called a couple times with no call backs then sent a detailed message explaining. Management said they were willing to take a look at the bill and talk with the guys. Was notified today that the guys who performed the work said the conversation never took place and that's not how they do things. I honestly don't have the time and imagination to make some bogus claim. I was initially grateful at the honesty and didn't really think my bill would be lowered. If they did really talk with the guys, it's just my word against theirs and I was labeled a liar. Therefore I will never do business again with advance electric and as a small business owner I would not recommend them either. I hope they enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies and rice crispy treats.

Jordan & David Maddux asked for to take this to court reference my small claims complaint against them where I was unhappy with the quality of there work and the fact that they lied repeatedly to me about what equipment they used among other things. Because the court made a mistake and didn't allow them enough time to respond to my small claims complaint they allowed a zoom meeting trial. The trial was on April 8th 2026 where the judge found in my favor and awarded me $1470 with $100 court fee totaling $1570. The judge told the Maddux's they had 30 days to pay this in full. That date to be paid was May 8th 2026. On May 12th 2026 I had not heard from or received any payment from Jordan or David Maddux. I emailed Jordan & David on May 12th 2026 reference the money they owned me. Jordan replied and said they did not have the money to pay me. I told him that I would be contacting the court. On June 10th 2026 I again emailed Jordan and David Maddux about not receiving any money from them. It has been a week and no reply back. For anyone thinking of using Jordan & David Maddux (D Maddux Electric) I would do your home work looking at other reviews of theirs. I personally would never trust them and will never use them for any electrical work.
